If you are looking for a Angler Ruler right now , just stop looking.. Sold build, beautiful polished blue, smooth operation, nice bag for storage, and holds angle you set with no slipping 10/10 I do not post reviews very often {most times it is because I have bad customer experience and just want other to be warned} So the last thing I could have seen myself taking the time to review is a Angler Ruler. However I just had to for this company. I received a email from the company that makes the Angler { sure it was a auto email} but with in the email was a link and video for a user manual if needed. When I received it today and used it, I just had to help this company as well as your time looking and thinking what one to buy from the 100s on Amazon.... Just buy this one!!

Every crafter's dream tool

If you do flooring, carpentry, wood or metal work with tricky angles, trust me you want one of these. This is a great pre-fabbed jig for complex cuts, every crafter's dream ruler! The aluminum looks and feels high quality and the markings are very clear to make measuring and cutting precise. I'll be ordering 1 more for my wife who's into quilting, she has been "borrowing" mine a lot. She uses this as her template tool to duplicate her quilt pieces.

How did live without this

Even tho I have been an artist for years I still struggle with drawing somethings. This is an easy to use way to measure and transfer angle to paper. I love this and figured how to use it fast. I wish some basic instructions would have come with it because even tho I have figured it out I worry I am not using it to its full potential. artist crafter quilters every one needs one. even if it is a kid just playing around with it would have fun. I should also say It is made of lite wt. metal and is very smooth and I am very glad it came with thumb bolts rather than wing nuts. So Nice.

Worked great on my flooring job today

Used this for the first time today on a flooring job. Seemed to work really well. The plastic splines stayed where they were supposed to so I could transfer various odd corners and shapes to the flooring for cutting. Really made this part of the job much easier.

Great product, REALLY good customer service.

Really great product. Beautiful Aluminum with a very hard finish to it (I actually tried to scratch it and it retained that beautiful blue color). Sits flat on a surface. The customer service is top-notch as well. When i received mine it was bent on the end (about a 90 degree bend) and the company had written to me to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I replied that I loved it but the one I recieved was bent. I told them it was no problem because I could bend it back but you know what? They sent me ANOTHER free brand new one which arrived in perfect condition. Even though I told them I could fix the bend. Now THAT is good customer service.

Did not know how much I needed one until I got it

Don't Pass this up if need to have the perfect angles.

Used it 4x already and have not missed a beat on those hard angles. In the past I tried using cut-out cardboard or paper stencils to try to get the perfect angles and I rarely hit the target. The 4x I used the template tool, I never missed the mark. Awesome tool that I have used on wood, tile, and metal.

Nice looking quality

Haven't used it yet, but upon inspection I like the nice blue aluminum billet material. The thumbscrews lock the ruler into any desired position I want. They screw into an opposing threaded grab washer, so it will lock tightly. Happy with the look, feel, and operation of this ruler.

Good quality! Solid metal construction!

There are a lot of cheap rulers out there, and I have returned several! BUT, this is well made! It is solid metal (not cheap, thin pressed metal), and the nuts stay tightened! It comes with a felt cloth bag for storage.
