I was looking for a small outdoor ceiling fan to install on my front porch. Before going through the brain damage of running wiring to install a more traditional ceiling fan, I started looking for a "temporary" ceiling fan and found this gem. Honestly, I did not have particularly high expectations for this fan, but I figured I would give it a shot; I am glad that I did. This little fan moves a lot of air. I would certainly recommend this fan for anyone looking for a ceiling fan to use on a front porch, tent or other location where permanent installation may not be feasible.

Pleasantly surprised. I was not expecting much from this fan. Super quiet. Awesome air flow. Movable to wherever you need it. Don’t hesitate to buy this fan. Came in a small box. At first I thought the wrong item had been sent until I opened it up. I installed it in my garage with a hook overhead. My garage door hits it when opened fully. Have done this several times by accident. Fan still working fine. I figured any fan that can take that kind of abuse and still keep purring along deserved 5 stars.

When I open the box I was a little disappointed, but after I put it together hung it up and turned it on, I was in total shock. This small fan has a lot of power and works really well lol

This sucker moves some air!! I looked through Takl and all of that to install a ceiling fan on my front porch but settled on this. Let me just say that I am more than pleased!!! I set it up with what I had and it is KILLING IT on my front porch!!! Don't hesitate to buy!!!!

Great fan. Moves a lot of air. I use it on my covered back porch. You can hear it run but it no louder than my ceiling fan inside the house. I am amazed that it doesn’t wobble. I have it hanging on a deck screw that I put in at an angle to keep it sliding off. Highly recommend if you need a fan that you can plug in and want a ceiling fan. Only drawback and I am not sure it really is , it only has one speed and you can’t reverse it.

To be honest I was nervous after opening the box and starting the assembly... it looked cheap and weak. However I was completely impressed once I turned it on! There is nothing weak about this little fan. It moves plenty of air to make a nice cool breeze in our 9 ft. tall 10x13 gazebo. In south Georgia that's impressive!

The first thing I always do with items like this is get my screwdrivers and take it apart. I can tell you first hand it’s a pretty impressive little fan. For the people like me who are curious, here is the information I gathered. It’s obviously a Made in China bulk production fan, but the quality control team has done a great job making sure no flaws or rough edges (plastic boogers) were left. Looks great. See above pictures to help you get a feel for it. *** it does NOT come with a hook to install to a ceiling*** ,so you’ll have to get one of those. (A nail hammered in, then bent in the shape of a hook will work fine) or even good zip-ties will do the trick, as I see a lot of y0u folks are adding it to an outdoor tent or gazebo. Fan Functionality ; The unit only turns one direction and one speed (Clockwise looking up at it from the ground) and the speed is approximately set to a Medium, when compared to a standard 8” or 12” desktop fan. It’s perfect for air circulation and creates an excellent breeze for keeping cool. The motor is pretty torqued so when you turn it on it’s at full speed in less than a second, so that means when you turn it off it STOPS. It’s not free spinning after it’s off, so it will probably not move at all if you’re outdoors and a slight breeze travels near. Even if you try to spin it with your finger while off it responds like a car in gear. It doesn’t have a forward or reverse either, to help when the seasons change but it does however have the option of turning the blades upside down. This is a really great feature if you want it to circulate in the winter and not blow cold air directly at you AND it’s a great option if you’re using it in the Summertime under a gazebo or a barbecue to exhaust out the lingering smoke. Changing the blades is a simple 6 Phillips head screwdriver, and you can flip them around in less than a minute. It’s a 3 blade fan but the package came with 4 blades, Incase your tall Cousin gets hit in the head, or you accidentally clip it and break a blade. A free extra blade just Incase is a good addition. Now for the people like me who want to know a bit more. You can cut the cord and either remove the ON/OFF switch, add tons of more length wire and the motor did not lose any power, however switching the polarity did NOT change the fans direction, like some fan motors do. The blades are flexible and thin enough so even bending one over 180o didn’t break it. It’s quiet as far as the motor sound and the breeze it creates, so you only hear the whisper of the airflow. It surprisingly moves a lot of air, too. I think you’ll be pleased with it. Make sure you do anchor it firmly to whatever hanging solution you choose, because it does have enough power to jerk itself right off a hook when you turn it on, so keep that in mind. I also did the “Tim The Toolman Test” on it (grunts grunts grunts) and connected it to MORE POWER, getting her to 5 times it’s RPM and it didn’t wobble, humm or falter in any way. It’s a great little fan, imo. Be sure to check out the pictures I’ve added and feel confident in this purchase. Mine was shipped from Dallas, Tx to Seattle, Wa. and it took 40 hours to arrive. I might even buy a couple more, just to have for BBQ’s, put in the RV or even throw one up in the attic during the summer. It’s pretty good. Check if my review helped, don’t forget to see the attached pictures...and hey,...be good to each other. ☀️😀✌🏼

Don’t let the size of this fan fool you... it’s very powerful!!! I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect much from this fan when I opened the box and saw it. It looked and felt like a kids toy. We put it up under our 10x12 gazebo, turned it on and were blown away (no pun intended)! This little fan packs a whallop! At one point, my husband, who sweats while swimming, actually got COLD from the powerful breeze and needed to put on a sweatshirt! Very happy with this purchase, very pleasantly surprised! ONLY down side is it’s a little noisy, but not obnoxious.

Pretty easy - using in garage to push heat down - like how we can move bc it would actually be great for camper in the summer too !

I purchased this for the top of our gazebo to move the air. It does that effectively and helps reduce the heat. There is no remote; fortunately, the cord was long enough that I can reach the switch after placing the power cord. The unit was quite noisy. I disassembled it and found a loose nut rattling. I opted to glue all the nuts in place to ensure the did not move. I also used some silicon, especially on the top, which resulted in the fan being neatly silent.
