Well made and much brighter that regular T-40 lights. Very easy to install also. Really liked them a lot, BUT, the package only had 3 ea. power cords and hanging kits. I attempted to contact the seller for the fourth cord and kit, but no response. I call amazon support, and was told all they could due was have me return the lights, and hope I get a complete set with the next package. Since I already installed three of the lights, which work really GREAT by the way. They are very well made. I am only giving this item one star to get the sellers attention. (Edited) 7/26/17 Well the seller did email me back. They wanted me to take a picture of the product, so they could "see what the problem was". I replied, stating I cannot take a picture of something I did not receive. Hmmmmm, I wonder whats next. (Edited) 8/2/2017 We received the missing power cord kit and hanging kit today, so I up graded my rating to 5 stars.

Excellent lighting for the price. These lights are great! They put out an enormous amount of bright, clear light for their wattage. I have no complaints about the quality of the light whatsoever, either. I've seen some LEDs with a lower (4500 K or so), more yellow light which looked really bad. The color temp of these lights is around 5000 or so and is excellent quality light. 4800 lumens is a LOT of light. I needed the included hangers to hang these lights from overhead floor joists in my basement. Unfortunately, the carton of 4 lights that I ordered contained only 2 of the hanger kits. I message to Amazon and correspondence with the seller remedied this, only I had to wait a few days for more hangers to arrive by DHL delivery. Also, one of the lights was slightly dented when I pulled it out of the box. The reason why was obvious as there was a big black boot print on the carton. Looked like some had stepped on the carton during shipping, which I can't really fault the seller for. Bottom line is that I'm very happy with the lights and I would buy again. In fact, I probably will buy more.

These arrived well-packed and in great shape from Amazon. The 5000k daylight color temp is perfect for lighting work areas; it's not stark and cold as many lights with a higher temp value, yet it's not overly warm to the point of distorting color at the lower end of the visible spectrum. I mounted the fixtures directly to the concrete ceiling of my garage and spaced them five feet apart, parallel. With an 8-foot high ceiling, this provides adequate overlap to prevent any dark spots or gaps between the light pools. The cord on each fixture is 5 feet long, so I linked all four fixtures and terminated it in a socket-to-110v plug adaptor screwed into a switched ceiling box. Using the pull-chain switch of each fixture, I have turned off every other fixture so that only two come on when I throw the wall switch--which provides enough light for probably 80% of what I need to see in the garage. If I will be working extensively in this particular area of the garage, I can simply yank the pull chain for the remaining two to fully bathe the entire area in light. And bathe is no overstatement: these throw off a LOT of light. In short, these are a great way to light a garage or workshop. I am ordering up a second set of four and possibly a third set to cover the remainder of my garage. I did notice, as other reviewers had noted, that the reflector shields on these fixtures are indeed quite flimsy; you can easily bend them with just light finger pressure. Inasmuch as I do not plan to touch these shields once the fixtures have been mounted, I do not see this as a significant shortcoming. I ensured the shields were straight and true before I climbed down from my ladder, and I don't see them bending on their own.

I bought these to light up a hobby table in an area of the unfinished basement in our house. Mounted on 9ft. Joists in line and have plenty of light. Good lighting is important on my old eyes and these do a great job of bright even light over the tables. Good quality product and I will definitely purchase more for my woodshop when I build it.

I just finished the installation. It took me well under an hour to install 5 lights. These lights were very easy to install. I used the "pendant" style installation but they include hardware and instructions for a wide variety of installations. There was no "fudging" anything. Everything fit as it was supposed to. The "v" hooks, chain, and ceiling hooks were more than heavy enough to handle the weight of these fixtures. The daisy chain, plug and play connections couldn't be easier. The light produced is crisp and bright. The only remaining question is how long they will last. For now, I'm very happy!

Wow, very bright! Replaced 4 old-style (4’ fluorescent) fixtures with these and am amazed at how much better these guys light up the space! All 4 came packaged together in one box. No damage/scratches/etc as other reviewers reported. They look good as well, aluminum construction shouldn’t rust. The only downside is that you can’t hardwire them (unless you count cutting the plug off the end of the cord like I did). There’s just not enough room in the wiring box to (a) put in a knockout and (b) fit more wires. Ended up cutting the end off the plug, running the cord through the ceiling, and hardwiring to switch in a junction box. Adding an outlet wasn’t an option in this application. Still, the end result was so good, I couldn’t bring myself to knock off a star.

Lights very well packed - double-boxed. Tested each fixture prior to hanging. "Y" hook system very easy to hang spaced my hooks at 38in to minimize down-hang. 6 fixtures in 12x20 shop almost too bright - keep back 2 off until needed! 8 more in a 22x22 garage perfect. Each light has a 5ft cord and opp end has outlet so fixtures can be daisy-chained. Each also has pull chain for on/off. Next-up - my basement and another garage. Anyone who complains about the 1 second delay to light after throwing the switch is an idiot!

I bought these to replace fluorescent lights in my garage after tiring of the never ending battle to keep them working. I installed 8 of them in my garage. I have only had them installed a few weeks, but they make plenty of light and turn on quickly. They have pull-strings to turn them off and on if you wish and can be surface-mounted or hung. They come with all the hardware to hang them either way you choose. While not needed in my situation, they can be daisy-chained. While I did not measure, I think the cord is 5-6 feet long. I will purchase them again if another similar need occurs.

Good Lights, nice and bright LED. Definitely recommend for keeping plants alive in the winter months. Also good for general lighting. Recommend.

I received my shipment in perfect condition. Each unit had cardboard on each end with foam on the bottom and outside edges of box. Each light was individually wrapped in plastic with hardware securely taped to the plastic sleeve. No shipping complaints here. Looks like they improved on packaging from some of the other reviews I've read. Regarding the installation, there were a couple different options for mounting. I used the screws utilizing the slide mount method. You'll have to make sure to get the measurement right; measure twice, drill once!!! :) I mounted two of these in the washer/dryer room. Four lights were mounted in my tool room in the basement and linked. When I flipped the switch, WOW!!!! Almost makes the basement feel like major sunlight is coming in. No joke. Perfect work lights when you need to see what the heck you're doing. The lumen output is very impressive. Absolutely no disappointments. None. Another great yet simplistic feature is the pull chain. If you don’t want all the lights on at the flick of a switch that are linked, then turn the ones off you don’t need using the pull chain. It is of no significance to me that the bulbs can't be replaced because for the price, you cannot beat the value. Try going to Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards (or wherever) and you just will not find anything comparable; period. As for the build quality, it's plenty sturdy for what it is. I have no complaints. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and will purchase another six-pack for my garage. If you're on the fence about this purchase, don't be. I hope your experience with this purchase is as satisfactory as mine was. -Johnny
