I bought these for my school's Who's Who beauty pageant to use as favors. They were exactly what I wanted and great quality. I had a local printing company make small decals of the school's logo to stick to the front of the wood slice. I also made tags to tie on that had the event information and award.

I received exactly what was shown! But did have two broken ones

These wood slices are absolutely perfect for making ornaments! I have an upcoming craft fair that I will be bringing these to so I was very happy to see they arrived on time and in good condition. I did have two broken ones, as others have mentioned, but with such soft wood and such a long way to ship, it's kind of hard to prevent. Overall, I would happily order these again and I would recommend them to anyone making ornaments for the holidays!

Excellent product.

Loved the wood slices. I used them for ornaments in my shop. Only one cracked. It was a huge bonus that they come with pre-drilled holes and twine to hand them with. The only improvement I could ask for would be the twine being precut into equal lengths. Excellent product. Will purchase again.

Versatile and Beautiful

I used these to make a wooden wreath with my fresh pressed flowers to create a 3D effect. The wood slices are perfect for crafts--I wired mine together for the wreath and used 2 different adhesives which worked well. I also did a bit of wood burning technique to create a shadow shape behind the flowers. Highly recommend these--superior quality!

I've ordered these and one other option, and although the other option was a bit cheaper the wood was much thinner. I'll only order these for now on!

Predrilled with hole Wood Slices are Perfect for Crafting ornaments

These wood slices are great for crafting because they are nice and rustic looking with bark around the edges and have a predrilled hole near the top of the circle, perfect for making Christmas ornaments, and a supply of twine comes with these. Some slices are thinner than others, but they'll be fine for the group of people we're doing this craft with.

Great favors for Christmas wedding

I originally ordered five 30Ct packages (150 total) of these natural wood slices to use as wedding favors for my daughter's December wedding. I also order personalized 2 inch stickers to place on each slice. The wood slices ere not uniform in size but most of them were still large enough to accommodate the 2 inch stickers . The placement of the predrilled hole also determined if I could successfully place the stickers, and still be able to run the natural jute twine rope ( included) through the hole so they could be hung as ornaments on Christmas trees for our wedding guests. Some of the holes were drilled a bit closer to the center of the wood, which necessitated me to stick the sticker over the rope ( see the picture of the smaller wood slice). But overall, most slices accommodated the stickers and will make beautiful wedding favors. Only three of the wood slices were defective ( see photo). One was cracked, and the other two had the bark coming off of the edges. However, considering that this only occurred on 3 out of 150 wood slices, it was a very low percentage of defective items. I would urge anyone to be sure and order slightly more than is needed just in case. Don't order the exact amount need, due to possible imperfections. The actual wood is beautiful and smooth. I would definitely purchase again. I ended up placing each slice in an organza gift bag along with 2 mints to be given to each wedding guest.

Cute Item for Making Ornament Gifts

I purchased these wood ornaments to make Christmas ornaments for friends and family. I think they turned out great - see the before and after pictures for yourself. The package comes with 30 pre-drilled wood slices and a single brown string that you can cut and tie around each ornament. I used the Minwax Classic Gray and Special Walnut stains (purchased at Home Depot) to create the mix color in my picture. It's nice that these come pre-sanded so all the hard work has already been done. All you have to do is stain them, and then decorate however you would like. I used a wood pen to write on both sides of the ornament after staining them. Start a new tradition with your family and get creative - fun for kids and adults! We are very happy how ours turned out.

These are great. I used them to make table place holders for prom. They are a good quality. Be prepared though because they definitely shed and make a bit of a mess! They had a slight smell to them as well but it wasn't offensive unless you stuck your nose right up to them.

Used these slices to make ornaments and they couldn't be more perfect! They were sanded down great, all good round shape, and came with a variation in size which I loved for the one of a kind look. Will definitely purchase more, they're selling these like hot cakes!
