Excellent value polo shirt!

Excellent value for this shirt. The fit is accurate to the size chart and quite nice. For reference I am 5'10", 178 lbs, and 40.5" chest, and I ordered a modern fit large. The length is really the only thing that I would change and have it be about an inch short, but for the price it really is great. The arm holes are cut nicely to give an athletic appearance, and the cuff falls right at mid bicep.

Great for school uniform shirt.

I bought this shirt for my son who has broad shoulders and tapers down to a tiny waist but is very tall. Ordered 3XL Tall and normally he wears 2XL Tall because he has a long torso. This shirt has held up to repeated washings with little shrinkage, no pilling, held the color well and is actually one of his favorite shirts. My only complaint is the collar doesn't hold up well and has to be ironed or removed IMMEDIATELY from the dryer and hung up. I wash on cold and dry Perm Press.

This is a SLIM FIT shirt made to show off those muscles!

This is a SLIM FIT shirt. It is made for guys who like their shirts contoured to their body. I purchased 2 of these for my son to wear to work. They are holding up just as expected. Slight fading over time but black is known for that. He has a very athletic build and wears his shirts fitted. If you have a "pudge belly" then this is not the shirt for you. He is 5'10, 175lbs and wears a M in this shirt. The arms are fitted and snug to the muscles. After all, this is what guys want who are showing off their hard gym work. Very pleased with these shirts!

Great value, terrific slim fit, surprisingly perfect

It is very difficult to find an "athletic fit" polo that does not cost upwards of $50-$60. Generally, men are stuck with a boxy or blousy polo. However, this Lee's polo is surprisingly form fitting. Other reviews report how tight the polo is. Admittedly, it is designed for an athletic or slim fit (where shoulders are broad, chest full, and stomach slim). If this is not your general shape, this particular polo can be a bit unforgiving. I am 6'3"/200lb (42' chest) and it looks perfect. The color(s) are what you'd expect in a polo range, and I look forward to seeing more. Amazon does a good job representing the colors well online. The photos are true to color. I can't vouch for getting "one size larger" than your usual size as some review suggest. I typically get a large, and the large here does the trick -- accentuates your chest, arms and waist. Lee Uniforms (and Amazon) would be better off by classifying or describing these shirts as simply "slim fit" or "athletic fit" and I am sure they'd get customers who are looking for just that, since most guys looking for a slimmer silhouette have a hard time finding it online without frustrating trial and error. Other, more expensive, polos may have better fabric with a tighter weave or softer feel -- the Lee polo is pretty generic, but is breathable and sturdy without being abrasive or flimsy -- but the cost difference cannot be discounted. You could get four or five Lee polos for one Calvin Klein or Lacoste label. I just don't think it's worth paying more. And these are better quality and hold their shape better than the Mossimo athlete fit polos you may buy at Target (and the Lee polos don't have a stitched logo on the chest which I also appreciate). The Lee polo could benefit from better, lower contrasting, colored buttons. On dark colors, the two plastic mother-of-pearl looking buttons are very prominent. I would prefer a lower profile button, or a range of colored buttons that better match the color of the fabric. But, otherwise, this shirt is exactly what you'd want if you have a big, athletic build and want a flattering polo at a great price.

Perfect fit for casual or work wear.

These are my new go-to shirts for work/casual wear. They are every bit as good as any other lightweight shirts out there, but for a price that mortals can stomach. I am 6'1" and 180lbs, and the medium fits me really well, giving that slim fit that doesn't make me look like a kid in his dad's shirt (very important in the office). These go well with slacks or jeans, tucked in, or not (the tail length is not very long, so not good for concealed carry).

A steal

Great shirt, hard to find a shirt like this without the brand clearly visible. Feels comfortable and love how the modern version fits my slim body. Amazon has great great customer service, they accidently gave me a classic size and with no trouble at all their automated system sent me the modern with no charge while also allowing me to keep the classic. Here's a comparison between the two for those interested!

Excellent "Slim Fit" polo.

Purchased for wear in and out of the office, and I could not be more pleased. Nice flare on the collar, the shirt hugs my arms in an aesthetically pleasing way. It looks appropriate in the office, but also at happy hour later. This shirt is low maintenance, has plenty of length so that it stays tucked in, and if you have the body to pull it off - Slim Fit or Modern Fit is the name of the game these days. I am not a model. I do not have perfect proportions, I've still got a little more belly than I'd like. But I also lift, have broad shoulder and thick arms, and this shirt works fine for me. You don't need to be Brad Pitt to wear this thing and look good in it, but if you're a pear-shaped 'average american man' this is probably not the shirt for you. I'll be buying more like this, I wish they had more colors! Dark Grey and/or Olive please!

Great shirt!

I bought this polo for work. It is a great value. I have a smaller frame, and after reading reviews I was expecting it to fit snugly. I usually wear small to medium sized shirts, so I ordered this one in a small. It fits me nicely. I am about 5'7", 145 lbs, and the shirt fits without being too tight. It is not baggy at all. If I put on a about 15 pounds around my waist, it might look unappealing, but I do not intend to gain weight anytime soon. The fabric is soft, and does not bother my skin at all. After a couple washes, the shirt still looks bright and has retained it's elasticity. I will probably order more of these shirts for work, and maybe just to wear casually, as they are a great value and comfortable!

A good buy!!!

Very nice quality polo stye shirt!!! Seemingly well made, medium duty shirt, has been washed once and very little shrinkage. I would suggest ordering one size larger. This shirt is a modern almost slim fitting type, sleeves are shorter than normal giving it a tailored look. I would estimate the shirts come a 1/2 size smaller than standard fitting polo shirts, so if you're a fuller small size, I would suggest ordering a medium. Can recommend this shirt for style and fit, color is true.
