This cable is very cable like. It is both flexible and plugs into the things that it is supposed to plug into. The length of the cable appears to be the exact length that is described. This is a satisfactory length for reaching behind say a desk, but would not say span an entire home or allow you to connect to a TV that you have positioned in your backyard. You alone can decide if that is enough length for you personally, or if the length itself is too long and may make you feel inadequate in other areas of your life. The best part of purchasing this cable is the support from the company. They are very supportive. They remind you of this support quite enthusiastically. This isn't a bad thing, but it can be tiring. In the end it's a display port cable. The texture is flexible which is nice, the ends are gold plated, and it at least seems to click into the GPU and monitor. I have no complaints.

I spent hours trying to get 2 Dell 30" monitors (U3014 / U3011) daisy chained off my Intel 520 on board graphics. I thought it wouldn't be possible, but since my system was loaded with 64GB RAM and I don't need high end video, I figured I'd try. Switched the 3014 to 1.2 via the menu and the 3011 worked fine... but the 3014 went black. If I disabled 1.2 on the 3014, both worked, but I couldn't extend displays... only mirror. Frustrated I figured I'd try newer high quality cables. And guess what. Worked immediately. What cable you get matters, especially for multiple monitors and daisy chaining via 1.2. Well worth the purchase, thanks!

Went through 4 cables before landing on this one. Bought an lg ultrawide 34inch 144hz uc79 monitor and was having problems with picture quality and was ready to return the monitor. Did some research and found that display port cables must be of high quality for 6ft or more. So I ordered this and 4 other cables and it was the only one that cleared my monitor up and allowed for my vesa mount to move smoothly. Also it doesn’t have those stupid clips that attach to the port, so no more broken cables and it’s braided which is a lot nicer than i thought it would be

This is kind of a no-brainer review and that is, perhaps, why it's good. The product arrived quickly, is obviously well made and with quality materials. Everything has a solid, well-built feel to it. It snapped right into place on my new monitor and into the computer. Ahh. It works! Not only that, not a glitch or problem. I feel that this item will last and perform as expected for a long time. At this price and quality level, you can't ask for much more.

I bought this as a replacement for the stock DP Cable that came with my Samsung Monitor. What I love about this DP Cable is the design behind it. I've never understood why most DP Cables have those latches on them... In my experience, they make connecting and disconnecting it to be a hassle, and I've yet to find one that actually latches properly. Yes, it connects. Yes, I get picture. But the latch always feels like it's loose. The Ivanky DP Cable doesn't use a latch, and instead, connects like a standard HDMI or USB cable does. This means that I know the cable is properly connected every time, and it makes it a lot easier to disconnect it as well. The build quality is fantastic as well. Although I will say that at first, I almost felt like the cable was too rigid, and wasn't sure how well it would bend to accommodate the setup that I have. In the end, it flexed just fine though. All in all, this is a worth replacement of any DP Cable that you're not happy with!

A well made cable. Good looking, nice design, all the good stuff described in other reviews are all true. Actually the only thing I don't like is the display pictures from the product page. They are all some kind of CAD picture(designed really well btw). But I want to see at lease one photo of the real product. For people who want to see if this cable works for their bandwidth hungry fancy monitor. I can verify some of the fact. I bought 6.6ft cable. It works with my 4k 60hz 10bit monitor fine. So anything below this bandwidth will certainly work. It claims to support 2k 144hz & 2k 165hz which I can't verify because those bandwidth are both above 4k 60hz. All in all a great product that meets my expectation at a decent price.

I just recently purchased a Massdrop Vast. It's beautiful and it's...well...it's VAST. It comes with a Display Port cable and a power cable. The Display Port cable it came with was GARBAGE and caused some issues, and the power cable caused some instability as well. I switched my power cable with my printer power cable, and got this for my Display Port. I went from having a rough time getting the display to not black out occasionally at the default 3440x1440 100hz to running a solid 3440x1440 118 hz with no issues whatsoever. Thank you Ivanky for changing my life. I owe some of my sweet framerates to you (an RTX 2080 doesn't hurt either) I feel like I'm computer name dropping...I feel dirty now.

Just got a new 1440p 144hz up to 165hz overclockable monitor and wanted a sturdier cable for the job this one is perfect for it and displays the image as it should all the way up to the overclockable 165hz. As long as it doesn't distort my image on my screen over the months I'll be all fine. Also like to note it doesn't have the latching mechanism so its easy to remove and clean my desk around my monitor and the monitor itself.

garbage ----------- UPDATE The first cable I received would overheat which would turn my monitor on and off rapidly. Then the great customer support team contacted me and offered a free replacement, which I have received today and all seems to be well so far!

The Amazon "Recommended" DisplayPort from CableMatters cable broke for me after only about six months. This cable wasn't working for me when I first got it, but, it took me awhile to figure that the NVidia Control Panel had disabled my secondary monitor. The CableMatters cable still didn't work, but ivanky's one did. I've only just got it, so, I can't speak to the durability, yet, but, the material and strength of it make me confident it will last awhile, especially where I am where it's humid and quite some temperature fluctuation. Picture quality cannot be enhanced by a fancier/more expensive cable.
