95-100% blackout, depending on blinds

These curtains really are complete blackout curtains IF you have a set of blinds closed behind them. Without the blinds closed behind, I’d say they’re about 95% blackout. They do a great job keeping the heat from the sun out regardless. Nice and pretty heavy weight, seems like they’re well made. Just need to iron them out of the package and they’re good to go! In the photo, the left side has the blinds open behind the curtains and the right has the blinds closed on an overcast but still very bright day in a south-facing window. I’d recommend getting them larger than your window and hanging them high and wide if you want to block out all the periferal light as well.

Best blackout curtains I’ve ever bought

These are the best blackout curtains I’ve ever bought! You can’t beat the price either! I live in Arizona where the sun is always very bright and our bedroom window faces the north east so we get the morning sun shining directly into our bedroom. These curtains block out the morning sun and help keep it cooler in our bedroom. I also work graveyards occasionally and have to sleep during the day, and these curtains keep it dark in the bedroom. We just have a set of white blinds on the window and then the dark grey curtains over top. In the photo you can see how bright the sun is coming in already at 6am, but how the curtains actually block it out.

Worth every penny

I have no issue with these whatsoever, best purchase I’ve ever made! Sleeping till noon is no issue if I wanna. I would add a photo but my phone has some sort of light correcting feature and it doesn’t do the curtains justice because the light in my bedroom looks like it’s 7 pm when my living room looks like 1pm

Very nice!

Love these! They are pretty and made well. I only wish I had bought two sets of them. They would look much better if they were fuller. I went by a review and didn't buy but one set. Now they are not on the lightening deal! Darn!! Update: If you don't like wrinkles, you probably shouldn't go with these. I washed, dried and ironed them and still have wrinkles. Other than that, they are nice.

Great product for great price

These are great block out curtains! Due to the design with the "grommets" going over the rod, there will be some light escaping through the folds up towards the ceiling & down toward the floor, but they work great and really darken the room!

Great cheap curtains

Loves these curtains. For the price I wasn’t sure what to expect but when I got them and felt them I knew they would be great. They are thick and durable. I have blinds underneath them but something I forget to close the blinds. In the morning I can’t even tell I left the blinds open. They really are great.

The width of each panel is 52 Inches. Each package contains 2 panels. I ordered grey, and they look perfectly grey to me. The fabric is obviously polyester, as stated in the description. The price is very reasonable. I did not order these $15 curtains expecting to receive designer curtains, and they are not designer quality, but they are serviceable. They darken the room plenty for sleeping during the day unless you require pitch black. I appreciate and commend the seller for providing a very clear and accurate description of the item.
