This worked great for much less than the auto parts store wanted to charge. It fit and works great with my 2005 GMC Sierra with digital auto temperature controls. I liked that it came with wire connectors. There are a bunch of youtube videos about how to install it and even switch to the newer 5 pin harness from and older version if necessary. It got me back on the road im cold weather with about a half hour of work.

Nice complete kit. I didn't need the harness or other extras on mine as the old unit was already a replacement from stock, so this unit plugged right in. Although it fits perfectly and functions through all the speeds; I am a bit concerned with a noticable "lag" between selecting a speed and the change at the blower motor. No issue as long as it functions in the long run. 2 weeks, so far so good.

The blower fan in our '06 Tahoe started going full blast constantly, even when the engine was stopped and the key was out. I read online that this was probably the issue. It was relatively easy to install, and 4 months later the blower is still working properly.

Amazing part, comes with everything you need except 6mm nut driver. I see people complain that it only last 6 months and so on.... Well at the price I'm more than happy if it last the winter. The auto parts zone wants over a hundred dollars for this part. And I've had 2 of those go in a year.. so yeah.. stop crying and enjoy your heat.

Works as described. Will see if it gets hot like the old one. So far the blower motor seems more consistent

Works great, but let me clear up some confusion. I installed on a 2012 chevy impala but was hesitant in ordering because it listed it as being "auto a/c controls" even though I don't have auto controls. I took the gamble judging by the pictures, it worked out perfectly.

This was a great replacement, with a short but accurate and helpful video (on Amazon). Recommended highly. More: My 2003 GMC Yukon, purchased new, has had a constant succession of electrical repairs over the past 2-3 years. I would never ever buy another GM product, but that would be a separate review. These repairs have been consistently frustrating in terms of their being needed in the first place and replacement product information. This repair was no different. In fact, I was astounded at the sheer number of blower motor resistors for the same vehicle. Product numbers were all over the map. Apparently GM re-designed this part (of course they did) and part numbers became a rats nest. But once I happened upon this part and video, it was pretty much smooth sailing. So a HUGE thanks to the guys at AA Ignition for making an old guy's life just a little bit more pleasant. Scott

Just installed replacement blower control module. Easier than YouTube instruction video. Works great. I only removed panel screw under glove box. Pull panel down, unplugged old module, and unplugged blower. Removed 2 screws holding old module and removed old module. Cut the 3 wires that went to old module (1 at a time). Stripped end of each wire and crimped on wire connector (1 wire at a time). Inserted new wiring harness wires (1 at a time) into the appropriate wire connector and crimped. Mounted new module into duct work, then plugged in wiring harness at module and blower. Placed panel back into position and put screw back . All done in 30 minutes.

On Christmas Eve, my wife let me know that the blower fan on our 2003 Chevy Trailblazer EXT wouldn't go off (even with the keys out of the truck). After some research, decided to check the resistor (no good). Ordered this kit, and after a little work- VOILA. Blower works just like it should. Pay attention to the directions, as the wiring has to be cut/replaced with the new connection in this kit. But, saved a trip to the shop and a bunch of $$$.

My blower would not stop even with engine/ignition off. Had to pull fuse under hood to prevent draining battery. I researched online and this resistor part was indicated for replacement. I could find it locally for 2X or more cost but decided to save $ based on reviews here. This product fixed my problem. If you have the proper tools it's a quick install, about 15 min. If your car has the original module you will have to adapt the included harness, it may take an extra 30 mins. I purchased my used '06 Escalade in 2013 and discovered my resistor had already been replaced before I got my SUV with a similar aftermarket module so the harness was already installed. The previous replacement lasted at least 5 years and hopefully this will last that long. I will update this review if it fails within a year or so.
