What an amazing booster! First of all, the packaging is clean looking and protected the booster well. The carry bag is just right, not a lot of extra bulky material. The carry strap is just long enough to swing over one shoulder. PROs: -Easy to set up! Not stiff. -Has straps correctly positioned to help keep your baby safe. -Has extra “feet” to help prevent tips. -EASY TO CLEAN!!! The material easily comes off to be machine washed. YAY! YAY! YAY! -Tray is nice and large, snaps on easy and can swivel. -Has a LIFETIME guarantee! Cons: The levers to remove the tray aren’t very smooth and I have to yank them a tad before they release so a little inconvenient. I want to mention that I also own the competitions green booster and would recommend this seat if you’d prefer an easier set up, slightly larger tray, straps positioned in the right areas, and machine washable material. :-) Additional tip: We have cushioned dining chairs so I usually cut out a cardboard piece to place under this to protect the covering from food and prevent indents.

Purchased this thinking of an upcoming camping trip, but I think it will also come in handy for bbqs with friends. We’re the first of our friends to have a baby so we’ve avoided the portable high chairs that clamp onto a table because it feels like it would impose a bit on our friends to use their furniture like that if they aren't used to kids. I like this as an option because we can just sit her on the grass and not worry about any mess (she always feeds herself). The great: A+ for customer service. The day after I purchased, the price was lowered by $6. Kind of annoying so I messaged the seller and they issued a $6 refund immediately. Sure, it’s just $6—but hey, that’s a burrito! So I'm happy. The good: I love that it is machine washable, but haven’t tested yet. Will update if it goes badly. Love that the carrying case had a zipper pocket for the extra pieces when not in use. We have the wide feet and the chair straps in there. I like the waist clip. No real reason, just think it’s a cool mechanism. The “meh”: Kind of annoyed that the product images conveniently left out this MASSIVE warning label on the back of the chair. I understand its legal necessity but I can’t help but feel a bit duped. The chair is nice though so whatever. I am scared to cut it off, though, because I don’t want to damage the mesh pocket. The sides are a bit low, but I get that this is a portable chair so it’s not going to be perfect. I hope my daughter will learn to stay put but when I put her in it to test it out, she just leaned over the side and could touch the floor which just encouraged her to keep trying. I didn’t feed her on the chair though, so I’m sure food would be a good enough incentive not to run away. She’s right on the verge of walking now so always wants to go, go, go.

Update: First, I want to say that I have never had a company reach out to me so quickly and with such concern for my complete satisfaction. This company is amazing! Upon hearing that I had an issue with my tray, they let me know that they will be sending me a replacement tray as soon as they have completed the redesign and they have been manufactured. They were honest in that this will take several weeks, which I’m fine with because they explained why. Then they went above and beyond by issuing a refund because of the defective tray! I can’t begin to describe how impressed I am with this company and I look forward to buying more of their products! This is a company that truly cares about their customers! THANK YOU, hiccapop! This is such a handy little seat and my one year old loves sitting in it. At home or camping, this chair is nearly perfect. I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that the tray is a little difficult to take off.

As a mom of twins it is essential to have products that are affordable, easy to pack and will last us a long time. These chairs met all my requirements. They fold up small, and the bag is large enough to fit the seat and tray with ease but not be overly big and bulky. Perfect to store in the car for those unexpected dinner stops. It came with "duck feet" to provide added stability, which was great since my toddlers are very wiggly! The chairs fit well at grandmas dinning room table as well as at backyard patio chairs. It was wonderful at the river! Set the boys up on the shore for an easy and playful lunch but easy to store in the boat as the bags are smaller than most life jackets. I love that the everything is removeable and washable! The tray is easy for Mom to remove and clean but locks into place so the boys don't make a mess. Then when the inevitable mess of self feeding occurs I can remove the entire seat and throw it in the wash. I am thrilled with this purchase and thankful to have such an amazing product.

So.... I also have the competition's green booster. I ordered this when, after 3 weeks of daily use, their booster developed a frayed hole on the top of the seat where the pole is! So disappointing! This chair has the exact same features of the "other one," except better strap placement, more convenient tray handling, WASHABLE FABRIC (all moms know this is HUGE -- my daughter has turned that that other seat from green to grey, and I've been fretting about how to wash it), and optional wider feet. I also appreciated their hilarious instructions ("1. remove from bag and unfold firmly into place. you're now 95% there.") and note about their "energetic Gen Z'ers" waiting to answer my questions -- I'm always cheering for a company with a sense of humor. Have my fingers crossed this one doesn't develop that same fray... if so, I'll be looking for hiccapop products moving forward.

Update: Hiccapop is the best company to work with! In response to my tray being hard to remove they contacted me and let me know if it didn't resolve after a little use they would send me a new one. It did indeed loosen up. I also had a spot come apart and they have changed their design and are sending me a replacement. Pros: It is sturdy- 3 year old has climbed in and out of it with no issues. I really love the removable "duck feet" that make it more stable on the floor. It is washable- the whole seat slides right off to go in the washer-win! The straps! You can see in my picture the little adjuster button on the straps. I've never seen this before this product but I HATE trying to adjust most baby straps. These are a quick push of the button and you can tighten or loosen them in a snap. With 2 little boys this is awesome because I'm constantly readjusting things. The size- I've had "travel seats" before that were comically large to take anywhere. This folds up into a tiny little bag that I wouldn't feel silly taking into a restaurant, but at the same time has a nice wide seat for a bigger child to sit in. Cons: Lack of upper body support- this would not be good for a baby who does not balance/sit 100% independently. I wish it had shoulder straps to help my little guy stay up better when he was smaller, I had stepped away from him to help my toddler and he tipped to one side and was kind of stuck there until I ran back. In all, the pros greatly outweighed the cons greatly so I still have it 5 Stars ⭐️.

I love this item! The tray can be a little difficult, so I'm hoping that loosens over time. The fact that it's machine washable is amazing! We like visiting family, going camping or on picnics, this will be very beneficial for all our adventures! It folds up easily and even comes with a travel bag and extra wide feet. Extra wide (and removable) feet will be great for setting in uneven ground covered in lumpy grass! And, not that it's a big deal, but the color is adorable! Extra pocket in the back seems useful for bibs or wipes or whatever! I'm extremely pleased with this purchase! Not only is it great for my 6 month old, but my 3 year old loves it as well! And the fact that it can hold up to 250lbs puts my mind at ease. Already registered it on their website and looking forward to their lifetime guarantee!! :)

I purchased this seat for my grandson and couldn’t be happier with this purchase! It even comes in its own travel bag! It has large circular feet which keep the chair from leaning as the baby moves and keeps it firmly wherever you place it. My son uses the chair wherever they go. - visiting, traveling, and even to the park or when they go hiking. The best part is the liner is removable and you just pop it in the washer! So fast forward one year and the fabric is now worn in the top corners of the seat due to CONSTANT use. I contacted the manufacturer to see if it was covered under warranty or if I could purchase a replacement. I not only received an immediate friendly response, but I was told “of course it’s covered under warranty” and they offered to ship it immediately to my son in another state! You can’t ask for any better service! Please purchase this product for yourself or as a great gift - I assure you that you won’t be disappointed! I know I will also look to this manufacturer for future gifts for my grandson!

This is the coolest piece of baby gear I've seen in a long time. It is perfect for restaurant outings and everyone who sees it wants to know where it came from. My grandson loves it and we love that it's so portable. The little bag it comes in makes it so easy to take it everywhere. And I can't forget to mention the tray. It's so much more sanitary that having him eat from the restaurant table, since he doesn't use utensils yet. We can just put food on his tray and we know it's been properly cleaned. I haven't put the tray in the dishwasher yet, but clean it with hot soapy water.

I’ve had this chair for about a month and use it regularly with my almost one-year old at restaurants and friend’s homes. I ordered both the brand name and this company and compared the chairs side by side. I have used other products by the brand name one so had a feeling of what to expect of the quality. Right out of the box, the chairs are similar in size and how they open and close. However I really liked how the Hiccapop has a swivel tray and a larger tray than the other brand. It’s more rectangular shape and has plastic springs and the other tray has rounded corners, is smaller and has metal plates that slide when you try to attach the tray to the chair. I did like that however I could notnfor the life of me attach the tray on the other brand! I think there was a defect. The Hiccapop tray snapped on easily and swivels easily! I’m a little weary of the plastic spring breaking but so far so good. The chair fabric is comparable between the brands and is canvas like. I have not washed it yet but it does get food and grease stains easily but that would happen with either chair because they are fabric. I used to carry around a plastic foldable booster which was super easy to clean but decided on this foldable chair because it’s way more compact to carry out. Both brand name and Hiccapop have a mesh pocket sewn on the back of the seat however there is a large label on the pocket that the brand name doesn’t have that can be a little unsightly if you’re one for details. The Hiccapop comes with large feet you can pop on the bottom of the chair if you need to set it up and have it be more stable. We used them once and it definitely helped. The feet store in the outside pouch of the bag. There’s a drawstring bag where folded chair and tray can fit on for both brands. The brand name has a nicer thicker canvas-ish bag, you can feel the quality. Hiccapop bag is thinner and nylon-ish. I had a feeling the bad would not last long and I was right and it split at the seam with careful use. I contacted Hiccapop and they are sending a replacement since they have a lifetime warranty. That in itself is huge, that they stand by their product and customers and it was such a fast and easy response. The major thing I noticed about this chair and the other brand is the belt placement. The brand name one has the belt sewn to the bottom of the chair near where the child’s bottom would be. Hiccapop has the belt sewn to the back of the chair about where the child’s waist would be. This is just a much better fit and also the buckle was really easily for me to press (but not my child) and unbuckle. There’s also two straps to secure the chair onto another chair. One that secures around the bottom and one that secures around the back of the chair. I’ve found these straps to be secure and easy to use. One reviewer stated that the metal rings holding the chair straps had a small space as if it wasn’t closed all the way. I actually think they were left with a little space so you could remove the straps if you wanted- let’s say if you're using it on the beach and don’t want dangling straps because you’re not securing it to anything. I have three boys- 5, 3, and 1 and have used tons of baby products. I think this an excellent compact easy chair if you’re looking for a booster or high chair other than restaurant style high chairs and it’s easy to carry along. We even can use it outside like how you would use an adult foldable chair at a park or concert. Nice work Hiccapop!
