Great customer service!!!! Beautiful product

If I could give this company 10-stars I would. They have amazing customer care! I ordered from them and received a mat that was quite smelly; however, I believe the problem with the first mat were isolated and that Torising was glad to be aware of them and eager to remedy this from happening again. Torising quickly replaced my mat with what I expected: a beautiful, clean, dense wool mat which had only the slightest natural wool smell, as expected. It is a wonderful mat! It is a bit thicker than most - .6" - so it is just that much nicer. I am grateful for their quick attention and desire for customer satisfaction. They could give tutorials to other companies on customer care!

It was exactly what I was looking for after attending a quilting class that recommend having this to do wool appliqué.

This is the best pressing tool that I have used. Leaves very crisp folds and flattens seams when making quilt blocks

What is this used for?

I use this to press my machine embroidery. It presses without flattening the embroidery. Great.

Excellent product for Quilters

Excellent for quilting. Others have commented about a smell, however I’ve not had a problem with it. There is a slight wool smell when using steam but it’s not offensive. I really like the performance of a wool mat for the quilting process. I’ve taken it to classes where irons aren’t allowed and used a seam roller on it and that works well too. Highly recommend this product.

Great mat for piecing quilt blocks.

I am a quilter and when sewing blocks a lot of ironing is needed and having an ironing mat close by is great. This one is easy to carry to different places and works great. I have another small mat from another company and it has warped from use and this one won't. Great mat.

flat seams

I don't usually write reviews, but this thing works so well, I ordered the 12x18 to sit on a snack tray beside my sewing machine, not an exact fit, but it works.....the heat does not transfer to the underside so I could use it elsewhere. Can't wait to save my egg and sewing money to order a larger one....no smell like I read in some reviews..did find it on sale from Quilt in a Day for about $10.00 cheaper, but this one had already shipped....

Just as described

It does have an animal smell when used with steam, but it is made of wool after all. It does make a difference with getting wrinkles out of fabric.

Love the mat

We had tried one of these at our local quilt shop, but they didn't have any in stock and would have to order them. Available on Amazon for same amount of money and arrived the next day. Well packaged and exactly what we wanted. This is a great item for quilters. Happy with seller and the product.

For embroidery you need this mat!

How did I ever live without this mat? Great quality, I have pressed several projects with great results. Absolutely love it.
