I just had to review this product right away since I loved it so much! I didn’t realize that the Chinese translation was also on the back of the cards which is super helpful since we have been teaching our 22 month old animals in Chinese . He will be 3rd generation in the US so any learning tools to help him learn the language is so helpful . I have not found many bilingual Chinese English learning tools so this will be highly recommended to my other bilingual friends and family. I like that the alphabet letters are made of wood and seem durable. I do worry the boards will get worn in time but for now we can just play supervised .

I was looking for some new learning activities for my little. Something that worked with both fine and gross motor skills such as puzzles. I came across this puzzle set and loved that it not only worked with gross motor, but also that we would get to start recognizing our ABC’s. The reviews also mentioned how great these are, so I purchased them for my 13 month old. We played with them for the first time yesterday (they were part of her Easter basket) and she loved them! I liked the animals on the back of the card that we can use for sounding/phonics, and the alphabet pieces are just the right size for her hand. I am so pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommended these for your little!

My 2 year old loves his Letters and Numbers. This was a perfect toy for him to explore all the letters and edges are rounded and the pieces have a nice textural feel. Each letter comes with a corresponding square to place the letter in and the square also has a picture of an animal or object of that letter. Comes with a carrying bag which is very helpful to store them, it would have been nice if the bag was a little bigger since its a tight fit for all the letters and squares.

Good quality toy for toddlers. My kids are enjoying playing with it so much. The letters are of good quality and of good size to avoid chocking hazards to kids. The storage bag is a nice bonus. Highly recommend.

These were recommended by a Montessori group I'm in. Pros: I love that they have tracing lines and are a puzzle. I do phonetic alphabet with my toddler and I love the tracing. We also did a few sketch rubbings with paper over top of them. Right now, I'm only using the vowels with her so that we can get the phoentics down. They are self correcting which is what I like for puzzles. Cons: I cringed that there's a unicorn for U. We prefer realistic drawings and animals- and it's one of the only ones that's fantasy. There are plenty of animals they could have used for a "U", so I wish they were more realistic with the choices. I would have preferred the colors were a bit more comprehensive. Vowels could be one color, etc. I've considered painting one side of the vowels. The bag that comes along with them could be bigger. For the age they're made for and the price, I haven't seen anything else like these.

We have had quite a while to use these cards now. They are a chosen daily routine. Here are the highlights. the blocks fit right into each slot perfectly. The child isnt left guessing if its right or wrong. They know! The animal pics are engaging. Not only can the kids hold and manilpulate the shapes of the blokes with their hands but they can trace the dotted lines within the cardboard. The animal name is their so kids will eventually memorize it. Thats a key step in early reading, as well. In the meantime.... im learning the animals name in Chinese (or trying to) by repeating the name written on back. Ive also looked up a few to see the translation of the word. Like i have time! But these have become more than just a child’s learning toy. Ive already recommended.

The set comes in a hard cardboard box covered in bright photos and plastic shrink-wrapped - perfect for giving as a gift. The letters are hard wood and substantial enough for a kid to easily grasp. It's pretty cool that it's really 3 toys in 1: first, you have the letters all by themselves as one two and second, you can have your kid match up the letters to the cards, and third, you can just play with animal recognition and recitation. I really love the animals selected for each card. For example, F is for Flamingo (not a normal fox like you might see on more rudimentary sets), L is for ladybug (not just a lion!), D is for Duck (not just dog!). It's also fun how the illustrations manage to build the letter into the animal shape - SO CUTE! For future product runs, might I suggest you also add the pronunciation for the Chinese versions on the back of the cards? It's so cool to have the extra language detail available for the kiddos, but I must admit, I have no idea how to say any of the words haha! The only negative is because I'm using this as a gift. Because the box appears to be marketed to a different country "British card recognized figure fight" and has some of the writing in Chinese characters, it seems like it needs a package update for American markers. Once opened, however, the product is PERFECT for giving as a gift! My niece LOVED the bright colors and shouted out the animals as she saw them on the cards. Plus, the set includes some more unique animals, as there is an animal for EACH letter - no faking!

This is the only alphabet with which my daughter wanted to play! it fascinated her from the first second. my daughter was very boring to learn letters, but she coped with this alphabet in a few days. her knowledge became much better. cards made of cardboard, wooden letters.

So cute! I bought these for my 2 year old and as soon as I opened them my 10 month old and my 7 year old were just as excited to play with them. The letters are wooden and the cards are a board of some kind. They seem very well made and I'm pretty sure they will last us quite a while. We were surprised to see the simplified Chinese words for the animals on the back of the cards! My 7 year old is loving that! I was also impressed that I can stand the cards up and the letters will stay inside. I'm sure we will find a way to incorporate them into our homeschool days. Very happy with my purchase.
