Update!: The vendor promptly answered my concerns about battery effectiveness and generously replaced my 2 defective batteries with shipping as well. My initial impressions may not have been great, but the service certainly makes up for it and I now have 3 full functioning batteries. Thanks! Very unreliable and inconsistent battery performance. 2 of the 3 batteries have caused intermittent problems with screen blackouts, random power failure, recording interruptions, won't power on. Maybe I got a bad batch. 1 of them works fine. Just don't depend on them for any critical moments. Thankfully I had an OEM GoPro brand for backup. Get what you pay for I guess

UPDATE. Artman customer service contacted me via email. They explain that while they have a great quality control department, they are not perfect. They offered to send me a full replacement...3 more batteries and a charger without me having to mail them back the defective batteries! The replacement arrived within 3 days of their email and I am happy to say that the batteries work great. None of the issues previously mentioned below are present. They last well over 1:15 of continuous recording...although I only tested 2 of the 3 new batteries due to time constraints. I can understand a defective product, but I love their approach to service. I never asked them for a replacement, they just did it. I will continue to buy their batteries. Old review--Batteries look great, seem to be good quality and overall feel. I pulled on the release tab to see if it felt flimsy but it was well secured and went for it. I noticed that they fit a little more snug than the GoPro brand but I did not mind. The camera turned on and seemed to work properly. BUT there are a couple of issues that are not right... * At times, the camera does not register the battery life. What I mean is that the camera turns on just fine, but the battery life is flashing or really low...even right after charging them. I noticed that by ignoring it for a few minutes the battery life indicator works ok. I am not sure why the camera will not recognize the battery right away like it does with my GoPro batteries. * The batteries will not stay charged longer than 30 minutes...even without filming. Since I am new with the hero 7, I have spent time playing around with the menu settings and within 20-30 minutes the battery had gone down to 19%. I am not sure if this issue is related to the first one, but I really do not feel comfortable not knowing how much battery I have left. Setting up a time lapse if the camera is telling me it is a 20% is not the time to be second guessing what your camera is telling you. I am not sure if the batteries I got came from a bad batch or if that is just what you get. I will have to contact the manufacturer right after this and see what they tell me.

Works Great, Would Recommend

We also tried the SmilePowo Go Pro batteries on Amazon and they were terrible. The connection broke off and the charger was unusable. As we were in rural Africa at the time and could not obtain replacements it caused distress. We were relucatant about trying batteries that were not Go Pro but gave these a go. We used them internationally for vacation for a month and had no issues. Worked great at a reasonable price. We would recommend.

Just as good as the original

Did some testing with the original go-pro batteries and these. All under the same conditions- These lasted about 1 hour and 40 minutes while the originals averaged at 1 hour and 37 minutes. I think what's worth it is that the charger is more compact than the original go pro one and the charger that comes with this can also charge the original batteries. Unbeatable for the value, size and compatibility.

Great Battery Life

Took 3 of these little Gems on a trip to South Africa to power my GoPro 6 while mountain Biking and Shark Cage Diving They work flawlessly the whole three weeks even at 60 FPS on the Go Pro it still gave me over an hour and 30 minutes on a single battery . I also like the triple charger which cuts down on recharge time.

To be honest with you the price for the product is good had a farm on one of the battery had a issue with it actually the ribbon to attach to a battery that can come off on the GoPro actually came off but nothing is perfect two of them were great I contact the seller and they just replace it with another one what if I asked respond back to me I would recommend it for everyone if you want to buy this product and customer service as a plus 😎👍👈

GREAT Aftermarket Batteries

Was skeptical about reading some aftermarket battery reviews, but I needed some batteries for a long days at the theme park. These worked out perfectly... I used all three one day and have not had any issues using them. Battery life is great and I have no complaints about this... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Worked as advertised - maybe better?

Bought the Artman Batteries and charger for a recent family vacation to the Bahamas. I wanted to be able to do a lot of filming while snorkeling and other tourist attractions. I have the Gopro 5 Black and the battery life of the OEM battery that came with it has never been great. These batteries on the other hand seem to last quite a bit longer. I used them during a snorkeling trip that was about 3 hours long filming the entire time on the water (1 hour +) and a lot of videos of the boat trip to various reefs.. When all was said and done I still had over 30% battery left. As far as the longevity of the battery I cant say yet, but as of now I am impressed. The charger worked well also, charging the batteries that came with it and my GoPro battery as well.

Batteries seem to be decent; charger is already having issues.

Been using these batteries for last three weeks. Seems decent. I have a go pro hero7 black. Shows battery level and stays on for just about the same duration as the original battery that came with the gopro (even though these are slightly larger batteries per the manufacturer). However, the charger seems to be made poorly. It was working fine until today. One of the charge light indicator stopped working - it still charges but no way of knowing whether it's charging, stopped charging etc. And again, this is just within 3 weeks. I am happy with the quality of the batteries like I said. I'm a heavier than average user and use my gopro a lot. I'll update my reviews in a few month to share how things are going. So far, I think these are ok value for your money. Not too shabby; not too great either. Update: My original rating was a 3-star. I am updating this to a 5-star and here's why: Artman reached out to me soon after I posted my review and mentioning one of the charger LED light was no longer working however, the charger was still working and charging batteries as it should. Artman offered my to send a replacement charger free of cost and to my surprise, they threw in two additional batteries as well. Now that's customer service. Cannot beat 5 batteries at this price. I was very impressed with the overall customer service. I only hope, the lights on the replacement charger works.
