I searched for night lights for several days before I picked these. A lot of the ones on Amazon are not UL certified and showed where their night light started to burn. Anyway, this night light is UL certified. There is a reviewer that complains about the sensor being in a weird place and his kitchen cabinet trucking the night light by reflecting into the sensor and turning it off. I’m not sure what sort of reflective his kitchen cabinets are but one of my nightlights is right next to a mirror and it’s never had a problem. The other night light also has some reflection back into its sensor and it has never had a problem. These can be adjusted to your preferred brightness. I have both set to the highest brightness. I got these for my children because one of them is going through the “afraid of the dark” phase and this light puts out enough light into the hallway and into her room that she’s comfortable. I am going to buy another set to put in my living room and kitchen. The two I have now are in my bathroom and hallway. The brightest setting is fairly bright. Those are small rooms and it lights them pretty well and also shines light into the bedrooms. But again, you can adjust the brightness to your preferences.

LOVE the adjustability of these. The brightest level is great for being able to read next to, breastfeed, and see everything in the room while still not impeding a sleeping child. Once the kids fall asleep, I lower it to about half (great for when they wake up they can see where they are but still not bright enough to "wake" them up). They are slim, and love that I can still use the outlet below.

These night lights are very bright for a nightlight but they dim down all the way to off so you can pick the amount of light you want. They dinner makes these really nice and better than many other nightlights. I have them at the entry from be the garage so you can see were you are going. I have them in my finished basement and in my bathroom so you can see in the middle of the night enough that you don't need to turn on the lights. They don't stick out very far so you really don't notice them and they only use one outlet leaving the other free for use.

These nightlights were exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a nightlight that would automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn, plus a dimmer switch to adjust the intensity of the light. This light checks all the boxes. On the full illumination setting, this light is very bright - too bright for most people (myself included) to get to sleep. But by simply sliding the dimmer switch, you can reduce the illumination to an acceptable level. I am normally not impressed with the quality of products made in China, but this nightlight is impressive.

I love these nightlights! I was a little leery at first because of the size of them, seeing they’re bigger than the traditional nightlights I’m used to. The LED light is a huge plus, and the dimming feature is a bigger plus. There’s a slider switch on the top of the unit that adjusts the brightness of the light. At the highest setting, it illuminates my entire bathroom which is perfect for my kiddos and/or guests in the middle of the night. Outstanding product for the price!

I bought this to replace another night light that had a harsh whitish/blue tone. These have a soft glow and that light up my bathroom and daughters room nicely. They have an automatic sensor and dimmer switch as well. I've attached pics showing the lowest to the brightest setting.

I just got these a couple day ago and I love it .This LED night ligh really worth for your money the light automatically turn on in the dark and shut of when have more light by the way you can also adjust the brightness by yourself that's really cool.

Previous lights were a bright white light and flimsy and failed after a few months. I’ve been looking for replacements. I’ve only had these for 5 days now but they feel more substantial so I’ve just ordered another box. My 4-y-o declares them “so cool” and wants one in his bedroom. Since it’s a warm light and I can adjust the brightness, Ive agreed and one in the bathroom might help with nighttime dryness/ accidents. He’d rather not get out of bed right now! I love that it’s not a harsh light. I love that it’s adjustable. I bought 4 in my original order and all work perfectly. One is in a particularly gloomy spot and is nearly permanently on, but that’s a helpful thing. I’m quite the fan. My only complaint/ request now is for these to be manufactured with a French/ Euro socket compliance for when we relocate in the future!!!

I ordered a total of four of these things. They are nearly perfect! They take half a watt. They put out crystal clear white light than makes them seem (even) brighter than they are. They have a dimmer slider. They get VERY bright (for a night light) with the slider all the way up. They have a photo cell. When the room is light enough, they turn off. That part works great! The sensitivity to room light is perfect. They don't turn off too soon or too late. They look nice. They don't cover the other outlet where they're plugged in. Couldn't really be better. One tiny little improvement suggestion: The slider that adjusts the brightness can't be accessed when there's something plugged in right next to this thing (the same outlet) I would have been a tiny bit happier if the slider were on the opposite sidem or even better, one of the actual sides, it would be better because the brightness could be adjusted without unplugging anything. Big deal, huh?

When I went shopping for night lights I was amazed at the variety of designs available. It is such a difficult decision to choose the right one without trying a lot of different ones. I happened to be with a friend who choose a store brand that I also liked because it has a very large soft front surface that glows rather than shining a focused beam of light like most nightlights do. It also has a unique feature that lets the user adjust the brightness using a slide dimmer control to get the perfect amount of light for the location where it is to be used. I researched that design and found this one which has the same features but in some ways is even a better design. But it also has an issue you should be aware of. WHAT I LIKE My friend’s device is about twice the size as this one and has the power plug mounted in the middle of it so you can’t use it without taking up both electrical outlets. To me that is a dealbreaker. This one is not only smaller but it has the plug offset on the back so it can be used in either the top or bottom outlet without getting in the way of the other outlet. Both brands have a slider dimmer control but with this one the amount it dims is affected by the amount of light in the room, so I would call it a smart dimmer. If for example there is a lamp on in a nearby room this nightlight compensates for that additional light. WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED The photocell sensor on this nightlight is very sensitive, it turns off with the slightest amount of light nearby. That in itself would not concern me as much as how they located the sensor on the top edge of the nightlight so what happens is that the light from the device itself reflects off anything that is nearby, for example in my case the outlet is under a kitchen cabinet, and the reflected light tricks the sensor into thinking there is more light in the room than there is (because it’s sensing its own light). You have to be very careful about where you place this device because if it is too close to a light colored surface it may tell the nightlight not to turn on at all. WHY GET THIS ONE The dimmer feature is the biggest selling point. I bought several of these for use in the kitchen, laundry room, utility room and main hallway. The one in the hallway is located directly across from a bedroom door that has a wider than normal gap at the bottom, which means most nightlights would shine too brightly into the bedroom. With this one I can adjust the brightness to be just enough without being so much that it disturbs the sleeper in the bedroom. These are well made and well priced. I like them.
