I purchased these boots because my previous pair of outdoor/work boots finally gave out. Boots like these I will putting through quite a bit of abuse - everything from hunting, fishing, outdoor work, hiking, and much more. The fit is fantastic and has extra room for wool socks. I haven't put them through much just yet, but by this time next year, I'll be able to revise this review and let buyers know if they can stand up to the lakes of Canada, the plains of South Dakota, Woods of Wisconsin, and the winters in Chicago. The last pair I had lasted me about 7 years, although this pair looks completely different than my last pair which is why i'm keeping this review neutral and based on only what I can tell from wearing them for several days. Until then, all I can tell you is that these boots are super comfortable, and fit extremely well. I'm glad I purchased them and look forward to abusing them.

Pros 1. Looks great. 2. Fits great. 3. Very comfortable Cons 1. If only it were free. Comments Love these boots, will definitely buy again once they wear out. Been wearing boots for years and always try to stay under $125, these are definitely the best value for this price range. They look great, feel great, can wear them all day. I've gone hiking with these, worked 14 hour shifts standing on these on cement floors. No problem. Anti odor works great too, I noticed that with water proof boots my feet couldn't breath so this would cause foot odor issues. These boots are not water proof so that means my feet can breath, and even after 14 hours of wearing them, no foot odor issues.

This is the second pair of these boots I've purchased. They have been a life saver for me, as I've gotten older, regular width boots pinch my toes causing considerable discomfort. These boots are a "wide" size, and they are extremely comfortable, no more foot pain. I've been wearing the first pair I bought every day for six months and they are holding up great, good as new except for being scuffed up a bit, and often times muddy because I wear them in my shop, gardening, cutting firewood etc. That is why I bought the second pair, so they look good when I'm out in public. These boots are comfortable, durable, look good, and are very affordable. Also, to make them really comfortable, I replaced the original insole with "Ariat Men's Ats Round Toe Footbed" insoles. Yes, that does add another $20 to the cost but I can't stress this enough, the added comfort is well worth it.

I worked as a Satellite tech with these, groundwork, ladderwork, and a fair time on rooftops. That said the only thing these were not great at is working on steep shingle roof, they tend to slide and not grip, however I did expect that, so not unhappy with the result, I just had to change my work style a bit. Durable, solid, comfortable. I brushed mine off every day or 2, keep bamboo charcoal bags in them to absorb moisture and odor, and treated them with Huberds boot grease about once a week and they stayed fairly water resistant and flexible, no cracks in the leather, no busted seams (only a bit of smell, but that's hard to avoid) They outlasted 4 other pairs of boots. 2 hiking boots, 1 work boot, 1 combat boot all wore out within a few months of purchase, these lasted me more than 8 months and are still going strong.

I'm an electrician and VERY hard on boots. Very comfortable, but I added the timberland pro insoles before I wore them. They were only stiff a couple days but never hurt my feet. I wear them 12+ hours a day and love them so far 1 month in. I also immediately waterproofed them even though they were waterproof. I have had them almost buried in mud and had them over the toe in water a few times and never got wet. The only negative thing so far is the shoelaces are hard to pull right on the bottom half, so they end up loosening on the quick laces (which are awesomely sturdy!) and now the shoelaces are showing wear... UPDATE I called timberland and they are mailing me a replacement pair of laces no charge

First off, this is my second pair of PitBoss boots. I have had a pair for 3 years (steel toe) that I use for work in an industrial manufacturing/warehouse facility. I'm on my feet in these boots 11 hours a day, 5 days a week. Plus I was wearing them on the weekends (year round) for about the last 2 years. They hold up GREAT. The only way they could be more comfortable to wear casually is to remove the steel toe... So I bought the soft toe version! What else can I say? Timberland makes the best quality boots for the price range. I don't get a boot allowance at work, so I will spend my hard earned money on Timberland every time.

I waited for a month after getting these boots to write a review. Received faster than expected. After trying and purchasing different boots for work non fit right and hurt my feet. These fit me just right and felt great. After a month they still feel great and are very comfortable with no break in time to now. I'm on my feet walking and standing at least 10 hours a day with these boots and my feet don't hurt at work or when I get home. These boots are by far the best and most comfortable pair I have ever had. I will purchase again and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable work boot.

These are the best work boots I've ever owned. I had an old classic brown pair of Timberland's before that were extremely uncomfortable and irritating above my ankles. Part of this was probably due to the fact that they were so old. I tried inserts and everything to no avail. After doing some thorough research, I decided to go with these and give Timberland another shot over other similar options. I definitely made the right choice! I use these primarily during the summer months outdoors while landscaping. This past summer I was working on my feet for 10+ hours per day and my feet never hurt or were irritated in any way. They also offer a good deal of protection even though they are not steel toed. I would highly recommend these boots, they are an amazing deal at the price I paid ($100). The fit was normal and the shoes do not seem more narrow than standard shoes. I went with the size show I typically wear and it fit perfectly. I can't speak to how water resistant or water proof they are because I was typically not working in the rain or with water on the ground.

This is an awesome WORK boot. They are incredibly well constructed, and you can tell that they are going to last a long time. The fit is exactly as expected, and are comfortable enough. If there was any improvement I would make, is to purchase the upgraded Timberland insoles. Those increased the comfort by a large margin over the insoles that came with the boot. A side note about people complaining about build quality. These are Timberland's Pro line, and aren't FINISHED to the same standard as their fashion line. That does NOT mean that they are of poor quality, exactly the opposide, it just means that they were never intended to look as perfect as the more fashionable line of Timberlands. If you are buying these as a fashion statement, buy the more expensive, non-Pro model if that means a lot to you.

I bought these for my husband. He needed some new work boots and these fit the bill. He wears a 9.5 in sneakers and most shoes. These were a tad large, but I think a 9 would have been too small, so they are pretty true to size. He's worn them 3 times now and they are covered in dirt, were worn in water, and abused. They are taking it well. :) Durable, like they should be.
