I like it!

Fits my Hero 7 Black well. I thought the original GoPro frame was actually a little too tight and it was hard to remove the camera from the frame. Not so with this one. Fit is just about right and the camera IS secure when the latch is closed (camera doesn't move around at all). Cutout for the side door (USB port) is better than original and allows the door to be opened with the frame attached. I like it!

Better than the original GoPro frame mount

This frame mount fits my GoPro 5 perfectly. The only minor drawback is no adhesive base. But those can be bought anywhere. This purchase comes with a cool lens cover. And you can access all essential areas (on/off, charging port, etc.). I found a workaround to not needing batteries all the time and instead using a compatible charging cord long enough to access my USB port in the car. So I can use my GoPro as a dash cam and have continual power because the easy access to the charging port with this particular frame. The factory frame that came with the camera actually blocks the charging port. No complaints here! Well worth the price!

Fit's my Hero Black 5 GoPro perfectly!!!

It's unfortunate the casing and latch that came with my camera broke so soon. The camera seller (Amazon) never followed up with me. Only a matter of time before the GoPro camera and kit version latch broke off - it was so stiff and poorly made. This product fit perfectly and removes just as easy plus it came with a lens cap that didn't come with my original GoPro camera order.

Better than GoPro OEM

These guys fixed the mistake that GoPro made when they designed their case. The GoPro case does not allow charging while in the case. This one solves that by having an opening to the charging port on the GoPro Hero 7 Black. I'm glad to see someone looking out for the consumer and designing items more suited to what users need. At 13 bucks, this is a great deal. It's easy to insert and remove the camera, and the case firmly locks it in place. Although this doesn't have the GoPro "latching flap" on the attaching buckle, the buckle slides firmly into the receiver with no issues. Pros: - Easy access to charging port - Sturdy frame Cons: - (not really, but..) buckle doesn't have the latching flap

This Is What GoPro Should Provide

This is the case that GoPro should provide originally. It's slightly lighter weight than the original, but looks like it will work perfectly to allow access to power the GoPro Hero 7 when mounted on my Jeep's windshield.

Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted something that would protect my camera while I play airsoft... The water proof case “worked” for this, but the muffled sound! I hated it. This case is awesome. Durable, light weight & perfect sound! It’s just like the old diving, clear plastic case with holes cut out for speaker.

Fantastic housing, perfect for time lapse work

It's a perfect, snug fit for my GoPro HERO6 Black. This case overcomes a serious deficiency in the stock GoPro case by allowing you to access the USB port while mounted. Being able to do that allows you to power the GoPro with the power adapted for long duration shooting like time lapse photography. Only time will tell how the latch will survive multiple openings and closings over time, but my impression right now is that the case is quite sturdy. It also includes a lens cover, which is a very nice touch. If you own a HERO5, 6 or 7, you unquestionably must buy this item. I'm not kidding. Why are you still reading this? Put the dang thing in your cart right now.

Great alternative to the OEM frame

I needed a second frame to mount to my GoPro 7 Silver to my road bike and found this one even better than the quality of the frame included with my GoPro camera purchase. Do not hesitate to purchase this product. It even includes a nifty soft lens cover, mounting shoe, and long screw. Perfect fit. Great value

Great cage

Purchased to allow access to charging port while in cage. I mount my GoPro to chain link fences to record baseball and use a solar rechargeable external battery pack hooked to it to allow hours and hours of nonstop recording. This cage works for my needs as the OEN doesn’t allow access to the charging port...
