Behind a pillar? No problem.
When the builders position doorbells they are not/ were not thinking visibility from the doorbell. This easy to install add-on is just what you need. It can be installed with a left or right angle (most photos show it angled to the right).

Finally! My Ring Doorbell points in the direction I wanted it to and it's not falling out anymore
I love this product. Our doorbell is in a tricky place, in a corner, barely holding from a wood frame and stuck against a brick wall. (I'll try to post a picture soon.) Moreover, because of the lousy wiring the builder made, most of our doorbells were always falling out of the screws, regardless of how small they could be. When I got the Ring Doorbell, the falling out got worse as it's much bigger than those tiny older buttons. And because the Ring was facing straight to the street, regardless of how low we would set its sensitivity to movement, most vehicles going by and any pedestrians or dogs or bunnies were triggering it. When I found this product, I felt I could give it a try. It took a bit to install, but not because of the product. As I stated before, the stupid wiring and setup from the builder complicated the installation. But once I got around that, the rest was easy. Now it works only when it's supposed to and not with any little thing that moves 20+ feet from the door. The video we're getting now it's a lot better, too. Before we could hardly see who was standing at our door. We were mostly getting their left side of their bodies as it was not pointing towards where people tend to stand for most part. So summarizing, this product is of good quality, it came with everything we needed to install it, it complicates it to remove it (I have heard of some unfortunate people who got their Ring stolen,) and it's what you need if your doorbell is stuck in a corner as you can adjust the angle. I do recommend it to anybody who has more or less the same set up I have at my place that requires an angle, not straight facing.

Great product, easy installation!
Easy to install, perfect for what I needed. I did not have a great place for mounting the Ring Doorbell . . . I only had space right next to our wall-mounted mailbox (we live in a traditional row house in Philly) . . . I needed to have an angle toward the door. This works perfectly! Simple installation, I used the drill bit that came with my Ring doorbell for drilling into the brick - and, this all worked great! I'd highly recommend it.

Way better angle and helped reduce signal noise slightly with stucco walls that block signal.
This is exactly what we were looking for to fix our problem. When our Ring Doorbell got installed, the location of it made it difficult for the sensor to pick up motion until the person got very close, pretty much able to reach the door handle. The camera also barely got much of the walkway, so we looked for a solution and were happy to find this item. The build seemed good, or good enough for what we needed it for. The main thing was how well it worked. Installation was easy, it also let us get the camera at the perfect angle. Now we can see the whole front yard, walkway, and pick up motion much further out. One last thing it helped with was signal. Before you say it's BS, we have stuccu walls and being so close to it, gave it poor signal. The app allows you to see the noise level. We went from 76-79 noise level down to 68-70. Yes that isn't that much, but before we were having a lot of times where when we looked at the app, the camera was unavailable or pixelated. It is MUCH rarer that happens now. maybe 5-10% of the time versus 60-70% we had before. For the price, I couldn't ask for more.

Good Item with a suggestion.
Just installed it a couple days ago. One suggestion I would make to the MFG is that if they can place some sort of soft cushions in the back. The reason being that my wall is not flat and is the old stone bubble type. I have to use my tool to flat the surface as much as possible to leave no gaps between the mount and the wall. I cannot really blame the item itself so I would like to make it a suggestion.

Great for a home entry with a small porch
Exactly what I needed. Great for a home entry with a small porch, where the doorbell is facing perpendicular to the door itself. Much needed for seeing people AS THEY APPROACH my hous me... and I installed it without the hardwiring as well. Great product.

Really glad we got this!!!
Excellent product!!! Easy to install (less than 5 minutes), and greatly increased our field of view for our Ring doorbell. We are really happy with it, and would definitely order this again if we needed another one. One word of warning: If you are installing this in brick, you will need to have a masonry bit and preferably a hammer drill. I have both, and so it took no time to drill the new mounting holes. This won't be an issue if you are mounting it on wood siding.

and I found this amazing piece of hardware here on Amazon
I purchased a Ring 2 Doorbell before I really realized where the wired doorbell was on my new home. I was initially quite upset when I realized my doorbell faced the opposite wall and wasn't outward facing. I frantically looked for a solution, and I found this amazing piece of hardware here on Amazon. The adjustable angle from 30 - 55 degrees makes this item a must have! I have full range of view of my doorway with my Ring 2 now, and I didn't have to go through lengths to get it to work. The installation instructions and hardware it comes with make installation a breeze. One thing I did not like was the softness of the wall anchors. I have brick walls, and although I drilled holes that were the proper size, the anchors were too soft and bent when slightly tapping them in. I ended up utilizing the anchors that came with my Ring 2 unit without an issue. Again, installation was a breeze minus the small hiccup with the anchors. All the hardware is included, and once it's up, it's easy to maneuver however you need to get the perfect angle. You may need to adjust it a bit to your liking, but once it's set, it is sturdy on the wall. The plastic mount looks great on the wall and is not obtrusive at all. This is a perfect option for those with odd doorbell locations! I am extremely happy with this product!

Reduce false alarms from heat tracked vehicles by pivoting the Ring doorbell at a choice of angles
This works great if you happen to live on a street with a lot of traffic because it allows you to pivot the angle where you can still see a stranger approaching and get notified and lower the field to the closest to your door and not lose any view. I also had to get it under a piece of J-Channel and vinyl siding and there were ZERO problems.

Perfect!!!
This item totally resolved the nuisance motion alarms I was recieving after installing the Ring WiFi Doorbell. I have a bi-level with an alcove at the front entrance. The location of the hard wired Ring install was not ideal, as it was seeing the alcove wall on the right, cutting out some viewing area on the camera, and it was seeing my American Flag, mounted on a tree in direct line with the camera. This device allowed me to angle the Ring, probably about 40 degrees in my case. I have not received a nuisance motion alarm since! The only problem was the bell wire was too short to reach the newly installed wedge. No problem, spliced two pieces of #16 gauge wire (or use solid bell wire if you can) to the existing bell wires, and you can lose them in the void created in the angled wedge. A great fix for nuisance alarms or if you just want a better camera view angle!!
