When I went to assemble the parts, I noticed that the nut holding the minute hand in place was missing. that was all I needed, but they sent me a whole new complete kit. It worked fine, and I am pleased with the quality, but should I find a nut like this at some later time, I will have a complete backup, which I may need years from now. Thank you

Check the needed shaft length.

Black hands didn't work out against clock face but a quick squirt with white paint did the job. Shaft length worked out just fine.

my girlfriend bought a plate clock at a yard sale but it did not work. it had a bulova movement that did not work.so I looked on amazon and found a Youngstown movement that would work if it was as described. and to my delight it was exactly as described it fit right in and looks like it was made for the clock face.I could not be happier with my purchase and more importantly my girlfriend is also very happy with the fact that it was as described.

I purchased a souvenir clock some years ago and recently the movement stopped working. this one was the closes in size to the original even though the clock hands are a different style but it looks really nice once refitted
