I really love this tumbler

I really love this tumbler, I drink hot tea in bed at night and at least one time a month I've fallen asleep and spilled hot tea all over me and my bed. Well I decided to give this a try and last night I fell asleep and dropped my tumbler didn't spill, very happy with this tumbler I did buy a handle that makes it so much easier to hold. I also would say my tea was still warm in the morning 6 hrs later. I have also used it for ice water and I had lots of ice left in morning and take it in the car ice is still there after 6 hrs in the hot car!!

Excellent cup!

Was looking at getting a stainless steel tumbler but didn't want to pay the ridiculous price of a yeti. Did some research and found this one had great ratings so I ordered it and got it last Fri. Used it immediately and was totally satisfied. I put two ice balls in it from a mold I have had for a while and they lasted all night and into the wee hours. I still had ice when I went to sleep. The next day i put ice early and had ice till early in the morning. My water was still ice cold when I went to bed. Don't waste ur money paying for a yeti, this cup does exactly the same thing for half the price. It's an excellent buy, why waste ur hard earned money just coz it says yeti?

Tips to better your experience

Love my cup! I purchased the turquoise color. The cup is heavy when full so if you have small hands I suggest buying the handle to go with the cup.. the cup has a slight textured surface so it is not slick..which helps alot if you do not purchase the handle to grip the cup. It truly kept my ice overnight, but after contacting the company, I found out the best result for having ice last longer is to fill the cup as much as possible with ice.. if you only have a few cubes you will notice it melt much quicker. Also.. the most important fact.. leave the spout open when putting the lid in place, then close the spout.. this makes it produce an airtight seal. Enjoy!!

Cups great, lids not, cup not worth much without lid.

Lids have a SERIOUS flaw, I bought 2 20oz cups (so 2 lids also) within a week, one lid broke. I thought it was a fluke so bought 3 more lids. about 6 weeks later, I have ONE intact lid left (one of the broken ones has never even been used). I contacted the company, they said send pics, I did...have not heard back. LOVE the cups, wish the lids lasted a little longer. VERY disappointed! Because of this issue I CANNOT recommend these cups to anyone. 4 April 19 Update: Customer service and the owner of the company both got in touch with me, I am happy there. As I said above... I LOVE the cup. Keeps my coffee HOT for hours. I am upgrading my rating to 5 stars because of the CUP only. I bought other replacement lids, DOCIK More Cup, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MRMZA5C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They fit well and seem to be very sturdy, so my cup is usable again and I am a happy camper (I will review the lids after a few months use). OK Premium seriously needs to look into their lids, maybe use lexan for their injection molding, what ever they are using is not good.

I bought two of these for door prizes for a company party recently and they were a huge hit. Perfect size, slight texture to the cup which makes holding it easier and beautiful colors. Unfortunately one of the lids was slightly damaged making the slide that closes off the opening not work. I'm adding this information to the review because this company was fantastic. I contacted them directly (by the email option) as requested on the insert that was in the cup. They responded within minutes (not days like other companies). I provided them proof of the damage (a quick picture emailed to them) and they said they'd send a replacement right out. Within in two days I had my new lid. THIS is what I look for in a company, I will be buying from them again!

So happy. Ordered 6 of these for a girl's weekend and they worked beautifully. Kept our margaritas cool and our coffee warm. No problems with the tops fitting. We ordered fun decals from Etsy and decorated them.

Does the job! No need to spend more for a stainless steel tumbler.

There's no reason to spend any more money for a tumbler. I have bought more expensive ones, and this one performs just as well or better than those. I bought it because my boys keep stealing my other stainless steel tumblers to use for their coffee and they disappear. I thought they wouldn't be as apt to take off with a pink one, and so far that's working for me! I also really like the the outside wall is slightly textured. It helps by giving the cup a nice grip. If I go to bed with ice in my drink, there's still ice in the cup when I wake up in the morning, and it keeps my coffee hot for hours. I also really like that the lid has a slider on the top, which is great for controlling spills in the car - especially when the cup is still at the very full stage. Overall - great cup!

the Chillout comes with a nice lid, the Yeti did not

My wife was given a Yeti 12 oz. tumbler as a gift. She asked me to get another to have a matching pair. I searched Amazon and found this item in the same color and size at less than half the cost of a Yeti. The Chillout felt lighter so I assumed they used a lighter gauge stainless steel. I now assumed that the Yeti would hold ice longer so I tried a little experiment. I filled both tumblers with ice and left them on the kitchen counter. I wanted to see how long the ice would last. I covered them with a saucer to close off the top. (Sidebar, the Chillout comes with a nice lid, the Yeti did not.) The two tumblers sat on the counter over night. A total of 12 hours. In the morning the ice ball left in the Chillout was twice the size of the Yeti. I have always been taken back at how much Yeti demanded for their products and often wondered if they were worth it. I am convinced that the Yeti 12 oz. tumbler is not as good as the Chillout. Yeti tumblers are made in China. I assume the Chillouts are as well but could not verify.

The perfect tumbler for hot or cold beverages

All winter, I drink massive quantities of hot tea, and I have always wanted a (NON-VACUUM) travel cup that allows me to carry more than 20 ounces of hot tea at a time while keeping my tea warm for at least two hours. This cup does that! All summer, I drink massive quantities of iced tea, and I have needed a travel cup that allows me to carry more than 20 ounces of tea at a time while keeping my tea ICE-COLD for at least two hours. This cup does that! In fact, the ice stays in the cup for more like 10-12 hours. All year, I drink green smoothies, and I like for them to be VERY cold. This cup keeps my green drinks cold for HOURS. The tumbler must be hand-washed, but that is an easy task, as the lid doesn't have nooks and crannies, nor are there any small necks on the cup around which to try to navigate. The tumbler cannot be put in the freezer, but there wouldn't be a need for that if you put enough ice inside it because the ice will stay inside for a very long time. The tumbler isn't slippery to hold, but if it is too difficult for any user, handles are available for it (two different styles of handles are available). I have no complaints about this fabulous tumbler. In fact, I would like to get another one!

Absolute perfection!

This tumbler was so much better than I even expected. I have a couple of Yetis and this is even better than those. It kept my iced tea COLD for a full 13 hours. And it keeps my coffe hot for a long while as well. The top also fits very snugly, so there’s little chance of accidental spillage. The opening in the top also has a slide cover which I didn’t even know I wanted until I got this tumbler. I am going to order a couple more, I love this one so much!!
