As a quick qualification, I want to make it clear that I am a sports on Sunday, heterosexual male who is proud to admit that he is an aromaphile (not a real word AND the Greek suffix ‘philia’ means ‘deep love’ and ‘friendship’, so there). My love of great scents, however, is not a topic in whose direction I steer a conversation. Up until about a month ago, I had never been aware of essential oil diffusers. And the ‘essential oils’ affectation made me laugh out loud (and not LOL) I’m sure I had seen them, but I likely filed them away as fancy humidifiers. I learned of their purported purpose and borderline outlandish claims riddled with homeopathic rhetoric from a friend. I didn’t care what it did for menstrual cramps but this aromatherapy component definitely piqued my interest. I immediately pulled up the Amazon website and found a bevy of diffusers and oils, taken as a whole at once exhibiting similarities and some minor differences. Knowing myself and my aversion for wasting time, and given the obvious gigantic selection of wares for a subculture that had successfully flown under my radar for 30 years, I quickly scanned a portion of the selection, determined that I wanted the smallest reservoir in a nice looking, surprisingly convincing, plastic ‘oak’ cone. And it had to include at least six bottles of oils. Within five minutes, as usual having read no reviews that are often so contradictory that they muddle the decision making process, I chose the URPOWER Classical Essential Oil Diffuser. I included with this meandering, circuitous review a poor but adequately representative trio of pictures that show the diffuser in action. They won’t blow your socks off, but they might ruin the elastic. The package came and I was giddy. My initial reaction to what I found in the box was exuberance. I’m never positive of exactly what I want until I get it and instantly know what I didn’t want, because that’s what I got. This was different. I loved it. I felt vindicated, having forgone doing more research and making more comparisons. So, to repeat myself, my overall feeling even before I learned how to operate this new mystery gadget, was again one of exuberance. Rebelling against the bad habits of my gender, I actually read the instructions. They were clear and concise. Nothing was superfluous. In five minutes I had it situated on the coffee table in my living room with mesmerizing and beautifully aromatic mist pouring out of the perfectly-sized rectangular aperture. I had instantly noticed this model because of the placement of the opening where the most is emitted. A bulk of the ones I saw shot the mist straight up. I wanted it to cascade. And it turned the ideal I held in my head into tangible reality. I chose peppermint oil for no particular reason. The smell was gentle and not overpowering. But it hung in the air unmistakably, creating a wonderfully subtle freshness previously unknown to my apartment. Also unlike so many of the other models, the URPOWER didn’t need or want the huge, garish light demonstration. It had six or seven available lights, but they were confined to just the opening. It was a calculatedly understated piece of engineering (or maybe design, perhaps?). I experimented with the most settings and for the maiden run, opted for the steady stream. At 100 ml, comparatively small, that little guy worked for hours. When I switched to the intermittent mode, it seemed to use that minute portion of water for years. It was still wide awake and working long after I crashed. It’s been about a week now and it has not faltered one bit. Photos of products online can be so misleading. You really have no clue what you will ultimately receive. I’ve suffered many disappointments that stemmed from inaccurate misrepresentations. This diffuser wiped the bad memories away. It’s a yin and yang quandary when one inventories pros and cons. They are supposed to be symbiotic. Unfortunately, I’m going to deviate from the norm. My list of cons isn’t a list at all. As hard as I tried to add even a little bit of balance, I could not come up with one con. This diffuser performed to its specifications and self-effacingly surpassed what the consumer was told. It’s not often that a product actually exceeds expectations. I regret having buried the lead in this review deeper than most people read. If you did get this far into the meandering blather, even just to see how bad it could get, I hope you came away with the feeling that, although I’m a shoddy and clear as mud critic, I’m also a very discerning and excessively skeptical consumer who was pleasantly surprised. I rarely leave reviews and just as rarely openly give my endorsement. But I endorse this diffuser.

Great size diffuser to have in bedroom. Small but emits high level of mist. Don’t overflow the water level or mightn’t work properly. I have it to the max level and put 2 drops of oil which is enough before I fall asleep. Great that it auto shut off once there is no more water. It has 2 button: 1 for led light ,1 for level of mist . Please not that the led color light is only faintly noticeable as opposed to some diffuser which it’s clear or opaque. You get a faint color thru the top where the mist comes out & bit on the bottom where the buttons are located. Works if you using this at bedtime and prefer to sleep in pitch dark. So depending on individual objective of diffuser, you might want opt for this or not.

This is my first diffuser and I am very happy with it,It looks nice and is a quality product. The size is what I expected. It isn't a large one and is good for a small room.

This is a great looking addition to any room, it has a sleek design and blends in nicely with our end tables

I love this diffuser. Great variety of quality oils and last for hours.

I was looking for a fairly inexpensive essential oil diffuser for my bedroom and did a little research before purchasing this one. I saw some online articles that ranked the top diffusers at various price levels, and the URPOWER diffuser came up as one of the top! I liked the options of the different shapes, sizes and colors, and immediately searched for it on Amazon. To my surprise, it was listed as one of Amazon's Top Picks! With so many customer reviews, I knew I had to try it! I'm so glad I did. I purchased the kit that came with 6 bottles of oils, and it is such a great value. I'm really happy with it. I even purchased another one for another one for my living room. I went with the newer version that looks just like and is the same size as the Amazon Echo. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone.

Fabulous diffuser. I put this small one in my bedroom. It works well and make the whole bedroom maintain high humidity.

The diffuser works great! On the 30 sec interval mode, the scent is perfect for a 30’x30’ room. On continuous mode, the smell is a little strong in the previously mentioned sized room. On interval mode, 70 degrees with 50% humidity, we refill the diffuser every two days. On continuous mode, the diffuser needs refilled every 12 or so hours.

I have purchased a few diffusers and this one is by far the best I have purchased. It is easy to use and the oils are a perfect starter set. The booklet has helpful tips section for mixing oils. The lighting feature is my favorite. Bonus: My husband (who was a skeptic) now enjoys meditating and diffusing because they help him relax.

I have used my diffuser every single day since I received it! It can freshen a whole room with a new scent in about 30 seconds. I haven't had the same problem as others- the lid fits on mine perfectly! It also doesn't make a mess, which i was worried about. Either way, it is small enough to set on a coaster just in case you are worried about any drainage or leaks. All 6 scents that came with it are completely lovely. Especially the lavender. I'm already convincing my best friend to get one!
