IT WORKS!!!!! 🐾
This thing is amazing. Our golden retriever was completely deathly afraid of fireworks. The first year she tore up our living room and almost knocked over our fish tank trying to get out of the living room. The next year she scratched a hole through our front door. It’s July 2, so it hasn’t been put to the real test yet. But they do light off loud ones here every night for a week leading up to July 4th and I’ve had her in it since the day I received it, a few days ago, and she’s slept right thru multiple KA-BOOMs. I’m so impressed with this product. Side note, took her to Home Depot yesterday and saw a buddy from the dog park who said “I’ve never seen her this calm “ she had this product on at the time. I’m so grateful I found this. We have a 70 pound golden retriever and ordered a size XL

A nice surprise!
I have a Thundershirt for my other Golden Retriever but my new dog is a leggy skinny one. I found the existing one was difficult to put on him, so decided to try something different. This fit him perfectly and he didn't seem to mind it. He really disliked the above-mentioned brand, although it is fine with the other dog. Pros: light-reflecting tape trim (important if the dog somehow panics and bolts, which my other dog would do if suddenly confronted by fireworks). It is easier to get on this wiggly 85 lb "puppy" than the other. I did not notice this in the description, but really like this feature. Cons: does not adjust in front the way the Thundershirt does. This isn't an issue with my dog. So I give it five stars. Very happy with it!

Construction great and easy to put on my anxious dog
I LOVE THIS. I live in the mountains and it is legal to shoot for fun or sport. My dog gets anxious at the first shot. In the past I used prescription medication to calm Maggie. When she get the vest on, no lie within 5 minutes she calms and returns to her normal self. Thunder is no longer a problem. As soon as I get the weather report that an event is going to take place we head for the vest. She doesn't respond with fear and tear doors and window screens off trying to get away now. I LOVE THIS Product. Maggie loves this product. I wish I had found this product thousand of $$ for repairs of damage as the response to fear of loud explosive noises. Now living in the peaceful mountains is peaceful again.

Works wonders!!
I would be the first to admit, I never thought in a million years that this would work for my dog. I have a 6yo Golden Retriever that hates the sound of rain and thunder. When I first put this on her, she didn’t want anything to do with it. The second time, it was a little easier and during the storm, she just laid right next to me. Usually during storms she jumps around, tries to jump on people, counters, desks, anything. None of this occurred. She laid nicely next to me. She still doesn’t like it when I leave during a storm but this is a huge step! I don’t know how she will react during fireworks but we will definitely be using it for that. Note that I also use the comfort spray with the shift. Don’t know if it makes a huge difference or not.

It works.
My girl does not like storms. We've tried calming treats and oils, but neither really did the trick. She'd still end up restlessly pacing our hallway or panting and hyperventilating. This jacket is great. She enjoyed letting me put it on her and, although she wobbled a bit getting used to the feeling of having it on, she was visibly calmer during tonight's storm. No panting or pacing, even without using treats or oils; just the vest. She's a barrel-chested beauty, and based on the measurements I got her a large to make sure it would fit even at her broadest point. I have to say that the closure system on this was really thought out, and because of that I probably could have sized down to a medium. The arm holes on the large are a bit too big, but it doesn't seem to bother her. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

It Works!
This has made a big difference in my dog Redford's separation anxiety. He is calmer, much less anxiety and overall just a happier dog. I love this!

Chest measurement vs Weight of your dog
This is a perfect fit for our dog! I am so glad we went by the chest measurements and not the weight of our dog. If we would have gone by weight it would have been way too big. I panicked when we received the box it said size L (which is what we bought) weight 41-64 LBS- our dog weighs 72 LBS but her chest size was the size of a large. Definitely go by the chest size and not the weight! Great buy for the money.

I like it not sure how the dog feels
Have tried it twice. The dog is frightened of thunder, fireworks and gunshots. We have had a lot of thunder storms this summer and she has been almost constantly scared. I can't say how well the jacket works, but it's better than nothing. To be clear the vest is fine. There's almost nothing to keep the dog calm. Originally indicated vest in her size was out of stock. But I was able to get the vest in time for 4th of July, which was my goal. So shipping worked great. The vest is lightweight and looks like it is comfortable on her. So far she hasn't said a word about the vest being uncomfortable on her. I consider it money well spent.

Works Great
I've always found these calming vest to either work fantastically or not at all and it has always depended more on the dog than the specific vest. Lucky for me, this vest works great on my dog. Keeps her calmer during storms, with guest, and even allows her vet visits to be a little less stressful. I chose this design because it hugs her chest and stomach and that seems to work for her. The sizing was accurate, just make sure you measure your pup carefully. My dog has a pretty deep chest for her size/weight so the Large worked well.

you can tell he is still a bit anxious but he is so much better.
This product has helped our dog so much. He used to get frantic when it was thundering. He would shake, drool and try to get into places he can’t get into. Now he is laying at my feet , you can tell he is still a bit anxious but he is so much better.
