Definitely pleased!

First, its rarer these days to get wired headphones. The wire doesn't bother me, and I just don't want yet another thing to charge or have connection issues. And I still have an MP3 player that literally goes 6 months without charging, so headphones that don't need charging is important to me. Sound quality is much better than I expected. Bass is satisfying, highs are clear. They are smaller than I expected as well. I was skeptical about the fit, but they hold firm and are very easy to put on (once you are clear on which side they go). The controls are small, but its obvious where they are. I haven't (and don't intend) to use it for calls, but for working out, it sounds great, easy to put on, no issues sweating on them and easy to clean (since there aren't any foam pads), and I can jump and run and do anything I need without them even budging. Excellent purchase.

Edited to add: After my initial review below, the seller contacted me to send a free set of headphones with a rigid ear hook. It really improved the stability. I thought the earpiece was a lot more secure. I was also impressed that this seller cared so much about my experience, and went so far above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I updated my rating to reflect such excellent customer service and commitment! **Initial review** The ear hook is not rigid, which makes them easy to put on, but they don’t feel secure. Everyone’s experience with the earpiece seems to be different. My personal experience was that the earpiece felt snug in my ear at first, but did not stay in my ear while running. They tend to rotate forward and come loose, but the hooks at least kept them from falling off entirely. My friend got a set, and they stayed in her ears. The sound quality was fine, but these are not for audiophiles.

Feels a bit flimsy construction wise but has incredible sound

Packaging was super nondescript and I instantly assumed I'd been ripped off. The plastic for the volume and song control fob on the right wire had a cheap feel, and it's over ear pieces were extremely flimsy to the touch which furthered my suspicions... and then I plugged her in. Sound quality is out of this world, and I do not say that lightly. They bang, and bang hard. The over ears are indeed flimsy, but seem comfortably secure in the ear so I'm withholding judgement until further tested. Its control fob still has me nervous but works perfectly for now so again, judgements are withheld. Summary? Unbeatable sound and design for the price range with a few possible snags waiting down the road. Would 100% buy again. Edit: upped to a five star, these are awesome. Cant say enough how dope the sound range is, and they are super comfy on the ears.

I can chew and listen at the same time - yay!

I have small ear canals and regular earbuds effortlessly pop out. I most definitely can't chew and listen at the same time! My bluetooth earphones have hooks which work great so I went to check out wired earbuds with hooks. Not that many to choose from, but these fit the bill and were inexpensive and had decent (legitimate-looking) reviews. Pleased to say that they do the trick! Very comfy, useful volume controls (haven't really used them for phone calls), decent cord length. Wish they included a small carrying bag/case but no biggie. For fifteen bucks you can't go wrong.

I dont many reviews as I am critical at the best of times. I know that we are in era that bluetooth is everything, but I have an old iPod shuffle that i run with that I really like. it requires wired ear buds. I had some $70 beats, but they dont make them anymore and the cord was wearing out. For 15 bucks, I thought "what the hell". Wow, they are awesome. Great value and sound.

Great Customer Service and Great Sound and Comfort

I got a reply within a day of placing the review bellow, stating my ailments with my first pair. Being the person I am I didn't see it until 3 days later, then got a replacement set in probably 3-4 days ( and then saw the email 2 days afterwards lol and checked the mail and found it there). Like I said in my original quarry, since it was comfortable and had great sound quality. Put to 3 stars until I can get past the first 15 days this time at least lol. If this set lasts a few months, I would give it 4-5 stars (depending on how the sound quality lasts), if it lasts four to five months I would give it 6 stars if I could. Update a few months later: still works amazingly. 5 stars. Sound quality is still great, I bent the earpiece to hold on better to my ears and it is still comfortable. I am loving this thing. If this one goes out I'm definetly buying another. I'll also keep this in mind in the next few years as a Christmas present for family probably. I had this pair for only 15 days and on the 10th day I think the left ear went almost silent, and then on day 14 the right ear didn't put out anything at all. So I'm not sure if I got a defective pair. I'd really like that to be the story because otherwise this would be a five star all around cause these were so comfy and had pretty good sound for a 15 buck pair of earbuds...

Best headphones ever!

These are the best headphones ever! I don't exercise with them, but was looking for something to wear when I go to bed to listen to relaxation CD's. These work great! The sound is very good and they stay in my ears. The design is excellent. They are easy to get on and off and seem very durable. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for headphones that aren't wireless.

Problems after 2 weeks of use.

After only 2 weeks of use, one of the earphones started to have sound problems. I take care of the cord and the earphones, so I'm pretty sure it's nothing I did to damage it, but now the earphone only works when the cord happens to be in a certain position. In addition, the other earphone doesn't fit quite right. “I had problems with the first pair of earphones that I purchased, but the seller contacted me and offered a refund and replacement. They were attentive and helpful, so I ended up having a positive experience with them

Work well & great price

I've only had these for a few weeks and haven't used them extensively but I'm happy so far. Sound quality is good for my purposes. They're also quite comfortable once I switched to smaller ear buds. The hook is much softer and more flexible than I expected (and than my previous 2 pairs - AKG and PHILIPS). I honestly didn't think they'd stay put but they do and they're comfy. Admittedly I'm not rigorously exercising in them but for mowing the lawn and tuning out my 4 year old they work just fine. Customer service is responsive. I checked to see if the headphones are latex free - they are - and I received a response quickly.

Superior Product. Superior Customer Service.

I rely on my headphones constantly to combat Tinnitus, especially at night. It wraps so gently but securely around my ears that switching sleep positions doesn’t hurt/tug/slip from my ears. When an accident damaged my earphones and I needed a replacement as soon as possible (the non-stop high buzzing from Tinnitus so irritating that sleep became impossible,) Luffy, Avantree’s Customer Service Rep, is thorough, fast and kind. I will definitely be ordering more (if another accident happens, my purse, etc.) Can’t thank you enough, Avantree!!
