The good, the bad, and the ugly.

Pull up a chair, because I'm going to tell you the whole story. (Spoiler alert: it's a "Oh HELL no, but with a happy ending). I have advice. I bought two screen protectors at once, one for my Kindle Fire, and one for my mother's Fire. I had dropped my Fire several times, and counted myself lucky as heck that the screen only had a tiny scratch. I pulled up Amazon and shopped for a case and a screen protector the second I had funds enough to cover the price. Arrival day, I was excited but worried I would not get the protector centered, or all the bubbles out (thinking of issues with an old phone screen protector, here). But there was a real chance I'd end up without a Fire at all if I didn't get some protection on it, so I screwed up my courage and determination, and got to work. The packaging was fantastic. Everything (almost) was inside, and it came in a shrink wrapped "box" that opened like a book. The kit was well protected. Nothing was bent or wrinkled, and it was very organized. I followed the instructions to the letter. I found an issue with that. Just as I was about to lay the protector on my Fire screen, I saw a speck of dust on the Fire, and I used the dust removal sticker, oh so gently, to pick it up. That's where I made my mistake. The sticker STUCK onto the Fire screen so that when I lifted it up, there was very sticky residue left on the Fire screen. My alcohol wipe was already dried out and I couldn't get it off with that. I ran to the bathroom for more alcohol to re-wet the wipe, and cleaned it off. Meanwhile, dust was falling onto the sticky side of my protector. I tried the dust absorber sticker, but despite my best efforts, the protector looked like absolute crap. I could see the dust under the protector, and it caused little bubbles I couldn't get out. I sent feedback through Amazon (they gave me a link in email asking if I was happy with my purchase, and to let the seller know). The seller contacted me quickly, asking for screenshots/pictures of the problem. I tried to send them, but Amazon would not allow me to. The seller then informed me that they were sending a replacement. I was surprised, and relieved. It arrived many days ago, but I have chronic pain conditions (severe migraines and fibromyalgia) and was out of some of my meds. With the constant rain and outright storms, I have been in so much pain, I just haven't been up to any tasks. But today I got it done. I skipped the dust removal sticker this time. I first cleaned the entire back and side of the Fire where the hinge stickers would go with an alcohol wipe that I myself provided, and then applied the hinges. Then I laid my protector down and carefully centered it, and oh so gently pressed the hinge stickers to the protector. Then I flipped the protector up with the Lift sticker and cleaned my screen with the alcohol wipe provided by the seller. And then I cleaned it again. And then I used the cleaning cloth they provided wrapped inside my own eyeglasses cleaning cloth, because I had a very difficult time hanging onto theirs (it's smaller than one you get at the eye doctor with new glasses). I wiped the Fire screen until not a speck of dust remained, and then I removed the backing from the protector. Just as I was about to lay the protector down, I wiped one more time for good measure. And then I laid the protector gently onto the Fire. It immediately started adhering. I watched, wondering how far it would get before I needed to swipe up from the bottom of the device, as the instructions said. I never needed to. I removed the Lift sticker and Hinge stickers, and found the tiniest bubble near the bezel, but one swipe with the bubble remover card and it disappeared. There is no trapped dust. There is zero bubbles. Thanks to the hinge and Lift stickers, it is perfectly centered. IT. IS. PERFECT. It is beautiful! Mom still hadn't applied hers, which annoyed me to no end. So today I put her protector on her Fire for her. I see hers has a scratch or two. Hmmmm, if only there had been any way that could have been prevented. 👀 I followed the same steps as I did with my own, and now hers is perfect, too. (Except for the scratches she got, after I gave her the protector but she didn't put it on. Ugh, don't dwell, right? Right. Moving on.) Considering my past history/experience with applying screen protectors, I kind of feel like two protectors applied perfectly... It's some sort of miracle. The hinge stickers and Lift sticker are key to perfection. Just don't use the dust remover stickers. They are entirely too sticky for their own good. At least, they are too sticky for a Fire screen. They tried to stick forever and ever, amen. Shout out to the seller, who actually responded to my unhappy note, and made sure that I left as an extremely satisfied customer. Absolutely 10/10, will buy again when the need arises. I'll be getting a new phone in the near(ish) future, and I definitely know where I'm getting my screen protector. Great screen protector. No problems, perfect fit!

Super satisfied with this! I put it on, and had a huge bubble in the middle. I took my thumbs and slowly pushed it to the edge. It's virtually perfect now, and a great fit for my 7th generation Kindle fire.

Beyond happy

I wasn't expecting this. I looooove it. it's super easy to install and you won't havr those hideous bumps that you get with other brands. Once you place it on your device it sucks all the air and you have an awesome protected screen. I'm very happy with this product!!

Fantastic Product

Received this product yesterday and installed to front of my Amazon Fire 2017 tablet today. Totally impressed with the easy-to-follow instructions and with everything included for a successful installation. Took just minutes and most importantly, no bubbles . . . AWESOME!!! After following the step-by-step instructions and positioning the screen protector, I waited a minute or two and watched the entire protector settle on the front of the tablet. Then used the enclosed cleaning cloth to lightly glide across the protector to clean the front while lightly pressing into place. This is a good investment.

JETech has put together an easy to use kit. Instructions were clear and concise. Everything needed was clearly marked. The fit and clarity of the tempered glass is exceptional. I've been using tempered glass on all my electronic devices since before they were economical alternatives to the horrid plastic peels. JETech stands above the other brands. This is not my opinion, but a hard won appreciation for a quality product. I will be looking to JETech first for my future needs.

I am very pleased

I love this product! It is just as described and feels like nothing is there. It is easy to work on my Amazon Fire and yet I know it is protected. I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking about purchasing it. It had all it needed to install it properly and is wonderful! I am very pleased!

Very easy to install and worked perfectly

Very easy to install and worked perfectly. I cleaned the tablet screen, then lined up the protector and set it in place. Then I just tapped the center and the whole thing adhered itself with no bubbles.

Best Value for your money and I don’t think an expensive one would be any better

I got The screen protector for my Amazon fire 7.7 inch screen . I’ve put on my screen protectors on my Apple phones and they usually don’t come with the tabs so that was something to get used to but once I figured it out it worked like a charm. I just highly recommend doing it on a flat surface with really good lighting maybe like a desk lamp just to make sure you got all the fibers. Fuzz or smears on the tablet totally gone and as far as bubbles go I had two little bubbles so when you’re applying the screen cover don’t be afraid to put a little bit of pressure and do it nice and smooth just worked right out with the squeegee and they give you in the package so this is definitely a winner for me .and I’d recommend is anybody just be careful take your time because once it’s on It’s on.

Must have for Kindle

The Kindle Fire screen is a fingerprint smudge magnet. This screen protector goes on and becomes invisible, and provides a smoother surface and shows no fingerprints. It needs perhaps an occasional wipe. A must have!!!
