Perfect for test swatches for adult projects.
For kids, but has all the elements that make test swatches, or strips, possible. Good price compared to any loom marketed to adults.

Best weaving loom
This is my first weaving loom and if you're a beginner, this is the one to buy! It is sturdy and well-made. It was very easy to get started and know what to do as it is already set up and started when it arrives. The heddle is more useful than I expected and the 2 shuttles are great.

Great for a beginner or sample loom
I thought this was a toy but I find it quite good for the price. I expected the wood to be really weak and for it to be easily broken. It isn't easy to break and with some muscle on the wing nuts you can get the tension firm enough to try tapestry weaving. I wanted to test out if I liked weaving and so this loom seemed the best bang for the buck and that it would provide the basic concept of plain weaving. I have even experimented and tried various types of pattern weaving by making my own pick up sticks. I have tried using Aunt Lydia's size 10 crochet thread on it and Lion brand 247 cotton yarn on it and it works well. It is easy to prop up on a jar or table edge to get it to work either sitting or standing. The heddle bar is quite good and makes all the difference in being able to weave faster. With the purchase of a few c clamps at the hardware store you can weave longer lengths. The shuttle sticks and comb that come with it are also quite good for the price. Tip- Also purchase some good quality cotton or wool yarn like Lion brand 247 or Hobium cotton and a good quality cotton warp thread to get the most of this cheaper little loom and you'll be satisfied with it. I have also used cotton crochet thread and it looks great. Using acrylic yarn though will drive you crazy.

Great Value
This is a great beginner’s loom for smaller projects for kids and adults alike, and a great value for the price. I don’t normally leave reviews, but the Kissbuty customer service was so helpful. I had purchased a loom that unfortunately had a faulty heddlestick (a few of the notches were all cut at the same level, as opposed to alternating high and low depths) and Kissbuty was kind enough to send me a replacement. The new one works perfectly and is certainly a game changer with weaving.

fine
It is not only a toy but a real weaving loom for small project. I used it to try some new materials like threads or yarns before I start my big project in the weaving loom.

Great loom!
I'm really impressed with this loom. It's a great size, especially for a beginner and the sellers have paid attention to the reviews. It came already assembled plus they have made instructions and good youtube videos to use if you have issues or need any instructions. With any loom I would recommend getting a great book to start with. Overall 5 stars - great loom!

Cheap way to find out if I liked weaving
I have to say, this is a great intro to weaving. I got this loom because it was inexpensive and has a rotating heddle bar, which is how I wanted to first try weaving. It's great and I've made three 7" x 8" little pieces with different patterns! The attached photo is just me practicing weaving a few rows with scrap material before starting an actual project. I will probably build my own loom next so I can have a larger warp space. And maybe I'll also buy a serious loom one day. But this was a cheap way to explore whether I like weaving, and it will probably have a small ongoing project on it for years to come. Like the other reviewer said, the wingnuts don't do a great job at keeping the frame tight, and I have to re-tighten every once in a while. Also if you choose to weave without the heddle bar, part of the frame kind of gets in the way. But all in all a great thing to get. I "double warp" the loom and am making extremely intricate patterns!
