Etch/Engrave

The Chomas Creation tool works with both the Explore and Maker machines. I engraved plaques made of 1/8" thick acrylic 5"x7" blanks using my Cricut Explore One. I tried it on the Cricut Maker first and did not like the results because the carriage dragged on the blank and scratched it as it engraved. But if you use a thinner material then you won't have this issue. For both machines I set the material to Poster board.

Outstanding product

This is my second Chomas "engraver". I prefer the finer point on the new one as I can engrave on the anodize aluminum using a finer pattern than before. Worth every penny!

How to use it.

Loved it once I figured out that it dosen't go where your other blade is at it goes in the side where your pen goes. This is for the cricut explore

Awesome tool

OMG....works like a charm. Took it out of the package, put it in my Explore One, I used the Kraft board setting and it worked in my brass plate. When I use it again I will edit my material to only cut once, instead of twice. I think that will make a cleaner engraving.
