Came ready to use! I was able to learn how to use a sewing machine on this in less than an hour. Works great!

FOR THE PRICE you can't beat it. Yes it is cheap and sometimes problematic. Typical Chinese quality. But who would think you could get a working sewing machine for $20. including (Prime) shipping? If I paid a hundred bucks for this thing it would not be 4 stars for sure. I'm a 52 year old guy, inexperienced in sewing, but needed to hem up a dozen sheers. I thought, what the heck? Why not try this thing. Yes, there is a learning curve. Yes, the instructions were not clear. Even though the seller was nice enough to pre thread the machine I messed it up and had to figure it out through trial and error. I recommend taking a picture of the way it is threaded before trying to set it up yourself as the instructions are inadequate. Go to Youtube for a demonstration on this machine if you can. One thing I recommend is looping the thread around the tension knob, unlike what the instructions call for, otherwise it easily comes out when using, jamming the machine. 6 hems down and 6 to go! Cheaper than paying someone to do it for me.

I love this so much! My boyfriend and I bought patches to put on our jackets and this is perfect for that. It’s super easy to use and figure out. I sat down with it and in about 30 mins i felt comfortable using it.

So far so good! Watched Youtube tutorial videos. The Manual does not explain much and it’s broken english. I did my first Denim Jeans Hem. Ao proud! My grandaughter will love this. Easy operation. So Cute and small but mighty.
