Great Service

Nice chrome finish but ratchet end has a poorly designed retainer. Fell apart onto the ground after using about 20 times. Probably best for light occasional use. Update. Within hours of posting the original two star review. Lee Leathers from Jaeger Tools contacted me by email. Gave me a full refund and shipped a replacement wrench the same day. Rating upgraded to 5 star for the great customer service. Thanks for standing behind your product.

I had written a good review on their website but then the very next day the ratcheting part broke. So now I have a paperweight. The worst part is that I don’t even know how to contact the seller So it seems like immediately after I wrote this, lee leathers himself called me and asked me what had happened to the tool and explained that he had given me a 110% refund back. But to my surprise there was another tool at my doorstep next day. I have used that tool a lot since and 1) saved me time and money to go take time off work to go buy it. 2) restored confidence in their tools. Of which now I believe I’m a lifetime customer. I should knock down one star rating for not having bigger wrenches available because I would have bought them already. But I think I won’t and wait patiently for new products. Kinda wish they gave a military discount but for the price it seems like it’s already applied. I’m definitely going to buy more if not all their wrenches

Really Nice Racheting Combination Wrenches

Some months ago I broke down and purchased some SAE ratcheting combination wrenches from Home Depot. I liked them enough that I decided I needed to get some in metric sizes. After some shopping I found and decided to buy a Jaeger Tools master set of metric ratcheting wrenches. I liked them so much that I now have purchased a Jaeger Tools master set of SAE ratcheting wrenches (even though I already had the Home Depot brand). So far, I have nothing but good things to say about them. The finish of the tools is nice, the case good, and I loved getting the large number of wrenches in the master sets at such a good price point. I somewhat nervously used one of the wrenches' ratcheting side to loosen a strut that was really on tight. I was afraid it might damage a pawl, but the ratchet remained solid with no play after use. Admittedly, I cannot say anything about long, consistent use with these wrenches, but they look good so far.

Great Product and Great Price

I needed some of the larger metric sizes and did a price comparison with purchasing them separately. For the cost of 4 of these wrenches, I bought this entire set from 6mm to 24mm. Most sets do not have many of these sizes and this set came complete with all and I needed to have all. Since most American cars are metric, this helps a great deal. They seem to be good quality and work perfectly. I was replacing my front struts on my jeep and it took 22mm (brakes bolts) 18mm, 19mm, and so on. So defiantly worth the $$$. My wife's Nitro (basically the same 4x4) uses the 24mm as well.

As good or better than my brand name wrenches

I just got to use the wrenches on a project putting new shocks and lift on my wife's Toyota Sequoia. The wrenches worked well in the tight spots. The ratchet end worked well even on loose nuts. The finish looks like it's going to hold up well. The role up sleeve is very nice to store and with clear writing it was east to find the wrench I needed when laying under the vehicle. I have a set of imperial wrenches like this in a craftsman brand. After one project, so I don't have a long term trial, feel that these are as good if not a better wrench. The slim size and smoother ratcheting is as good or better.

Great ratcheting wrench!

Very impressed with this wrench Purchased to help change the oil pressure sending unit on my 2003 jeep TJ SE Works as expected Price was excellent for how large this wrench is It is comparable in quality (fit, finish, shine, ratchet drive) as any non-snap on or super high quality product. However, the few snap-on pieces I own don't seem any nicer in build or use. I cannot attest to the long term durability of this product but it feels great in the hand and worked very well. There are no cons to this product. I'm very satisfied and worked as expected!

Do you like Great Wrenches? look no where else!!

Best set i have ever used. Great for the avergae guy but building gargee with storage this has become life saver!! Highly recommend this set. Now if they make one in metirc to compliment i am set! Update in 2019.. almost a 6 months later these wrenches are the bomb. I found a Metric set and ordered that today as well and going to give the gear wrench set for sale as i do not like that their holder. I have compared this SAE set in the roll bag to others and i love Jeagar tools. They have done extremely well and the ratching is very easy and i had to break some old bolts with these. The have been as some would say abused in strenght test and they worked. SO i found the metric set and it will take much less room. AWESOME PRODUCT!!!!!

Quality

Quality on point well worth it. WORTH. EVERY. SINGLE. DOLLAR. Tools went above and beyond my expectations. After months of abuse I can say that these wrenches are absolutely on level with the top of the game brands Like Snap On and Gear Wrench. Perhaps my set is a fluke and was smelted by some greek gods but I have broken more Snap on wrenches then Jaeger! I recommend them to all who are looking for an large affordable non flexing non reversible ratcheting wrench set. JAEGER I will be a customer for life! Godspeed on all future product development, and I wish you all the the deserved success that awaits you in the future. This company is going to be huge.

Great value

I highly recommend these. They are great for the price. The overall quality of the wrenches and case is very good. I have a couple sets of Gearwrenches and these are fairly comparable. The only real difference I noticed was the finish quality of the chrome, not quite as good as name brands. That being said, I'll probably be buying the SAE set soon to replace my smaller sets of Gearwrenches. I broke these in by completely redoing the front end of an LR3 and had no problems, not even when I used 2 wrenches together to get extra leverage (not recommended).

Perfect fit for Sawstop arbor nut

I love my Sawstop so this is not a big negative, but I had difficulty using the arbor wrench they provided. It is triangular and I just struggled getting a good grip on the arbor nut with it. So I decided to try a regular wrench. Found this one with good ratings and not particularly expensive so decided to give it a try. Won't be using it daily to work on many nuts & bolts, but it is easy to use on my saw. The ratcheting feature is nice because you can begin the process where you want it to be.
