Rich, smooth, silky

This tea is a staple in my cabinet. I started drinking rooibos when I was pregnant with my second child 14 years ago, mostly for the health benefit and lack of caffeine (I'm typically a coffee drinker but didn't indulge when pregnant). Like good rooibos teas, this is rich and smooth. I love the freshness of the aroma. It's complex and flavorful with a silky mouthfeel. Combined with bergamot for that classic Earl Grey flavor it's bright and refreshing, but the depth of the rooibos gives it a warming balance that makes this cup perfect for any time of day. I particularly like to drink this late at night before bed when unwinding for the day. I also like to keep my tea bag in the cup to maximize its strength. Being free of tannins, it won't release any bitterness with extended brewing times. It's kind of the equivalent of sipping port at night... well, almost!

Fabulous earl grey flavor

I've had to give up black tea (including decaf) for a while and while herbal teas are great, they're just no substitute for a hearty cup of earl grey or english breakfast in the morning. After 8 months of drinking lots of plain rooibos, I had an epiphany and realized somebody somewhere has probably manufactured earl grey-flavored rooibos. I searched on amazon, and boom! There it was. I HIGHLY recommend this if for whatever reason you can't drink black tea or don't want the caffeine but love earl grey. The scent is enticing, flavor is robust but not too overpowering-- just the right amount of bergamot in my opinion-- and it is absolutely delicious with milk. The teabags are simple, no string or staple; they are flat and circular and come in the box all together rather than individually wrapped. I don't mind because I polish it off in less than a month, but if you plan to go through more slowly you may want to transfer the tea bags to an airtight container. Box isn't too sturdy, but again, that doesn't really matter to me. The flavor is top notch, and as a bonus, it helps me feel awake by fooling my brain into thinking I drank caffeine!

I'm a dedicated earl grey drinker and picky about the flavour. Having recently given up caffeine, I've been searching for an ideal decaf version and this is it! I love that it's herbal, I drink all day and in the evening too. As it's herbal, it's lovely on its own but I take it with a bit of non-dairy milk.

Best Rooibos Earl Grey out there!

I discovered Tick Tock tea while on a work trip to England. I love Earl Grey, but needed something without caffeine. This stuff is amazing! I can't say enough about how good this is. Holds up great with cream as well!

Tick Tock Rawks

I'm trying a variety of Rooibos Teas because my cousin recommended it as a caffeine replacement with added health benefits. Tick Tock is by far my favorite Rooibos. True confession, I'm a black tea with milk drinking girl. In my book, Rooibos is an herbal tea. All of that aside, Tick Tock Rooibos is great. It's not like an Irish Breakfast tea, it's a stout herbal tea that stands up to milk and sugar if you like. It also mixes well with other herbals (ginger is my favorite combo thus far). What I love about Rooibos is that it gives a lift without jitters. It affects my system similarly to ginseng, by increasing brain function and waking me up. I love that Rooibos is also relaxing. It's an odd but really effective combination that still allows me to sleep at night. I can see why there is a cult-like following in South Africa.

I bought this when I discovered that my other (pricier) brand stopped carrying red rooibos Earl Gray. Turns out this is just as tasty, and with Amazon’s Subscribe & Save, it’s about half what I’d been spending on the other brand. I’m a convert!

the taste is very clean

this organic redbush tea is very good. they come in round teabags.supposedly one of the healthiest teas and no caffeine. it hydrates you. natives drink this in the hot summer climate.

It Does Exist!

After being told for years that there was no herbal tea that tasted like black tea, I found it. Thanks to my curiosity upon reading, in a book set in ancient China, of a highly prized 'red tea' I found out about Rooibos/Red Tea. As soon as I received my order I made a cup hot, and a glass iced. PERFECT! TIck Tock is bagged in the traditional British way, circular bags with no string or tag, and no 'dust' at the bottom of the cup. The price is reasonable and comparable per bag to the usual herbal teas in the grocery store.

Better than its black tea counterpart!

I’ve always been a fan of Earl Grey Tea but since my caffeine tolerance has gone way down in recent years, even black tea will keep me up if I have it at night. Then I found THIS. This Earl Grey Rooibos tastes even better, has more depth of flavor than the original and I can have it with an evening dessert if I want. Nothing like a hot cuppa tea with some milk and sugar. Love it!

I missed earl grey!

I was so happy when I found this! Earl grey tea was always a favorite growing up. I avoid caffeine now and knowing I can have this delicious option makes it not so bad! I'll definitely be buying again!
