Brought my daughters iPad back to life

It was hard to replace. Follow the YouTube video instructions exactly. Once in. it worked beautifully!

Take your time, and research your model number mine is 1474.

Arrived in two days neatly packaged. I watched too many to count battery installation videos on youtube and installed it in less than 1hour without rewatching any further. Charged it to 100%. And binge watched videos for four hours and lost only 25% of the charge! iPad disassembly, take your time, use lots of heat to soften the adhesive and treat it like an egg! PERFECT FIX for my iPad Air!

Kit Works GREAT, you need to use a heat gun.

The battery kit included all the tools necessary to change out the old iPad battery and replace it with the included new one. The tools worked great, they allowed me to open my iPad and change the battery I used my own heat gun, and looked at several videos on YouTube. My iPad works flawlessly and has a new battery that holds a change for days. I would buy this again.

Quality product

Hardest part was removing the old battery. It was glued to the back really good. This kit comes with the right tools for the job. Battery is top shelf.

Buy digitizer also.

Good product. Will take 1 hour for experienced person to replace battery and up to 2 for a non experienced. Recommend you replace the digitizer also because it is almost certain you tear the connection during disassembly. Heat gun also recommended. Watch YouTube video as no instructions are included.

Products work. Very HARD to do install.

The battery and tools worked great but the installation is very difficult because you have to take the entire ipad apart. I wouldn't recommend doing this on a new Ipad which is why I did it on my old outdated ipad. GOOD LUCK if you are doing the installation on the first try. Took me 5

Quality kit!

I was a little apprehensive attempting to do a battery swap myself but figured I'd give it a shot. After watching an on line video explaining the procedure to follow I started by using a hair dryer to warm up the existing adhesive strips. The tools are extremely helpful when removing the face panel. Don't rush, just take your time once you get it started. It's a slow process but worth the effort. The tape that covers the tiny lock bars peeled off nicely and was reused later. Be careful unclipping the lock bars, they appear to be very fragile and it wouldn't take much to snap one. Not overly impressed with the new adhesive strips, but I'll see how they hold up over time. The new battery worked as good, or better than when my I-pad was new. It was around 60% charged when installed so I ran it down to 10% (took a few days of use to do so) It was then charged to full and lasted over a week with frequent use. Highly recommended product. Shipping was quick. Price is excellent. To have a local electronics shop do this work they want over $100.00 and can have the devise tied up for a week or more. This kit is well worth the investment.

Works great

I've had it installed for a few day's now and it is working great changed it myself and saved a ton of money I also replaced my screen so I wasn't to worried about breaking it when I pulled it off you definitely have to be careful if you don't have to replace the screen. I looked up how-to videos on YT to see how to do it not bad if you're somewhat mechanically inclined
