Great game, happy to get it on the release date!
I think it’s great that Amazon ships games on their release date. The game is fun but very challenging. It’s definitely not as easy as Odyssey but has a higher replay value like Mario Kart.

Best Sports Game of 2018
I've played Madden, 2K, The Show, Fifa, and this and this is one of the very few times I think the Nintendo game has dominated the pack (the only other example I can think of is Strikers for Gamecube and MAYBE Super Sluggers on Wii). The controls are simple enough to get right away, but complex enough to take time to master, sort of like a good fighting game. There are enough levels and modes to give the game plenty of variety, but the regular game is fun enough that big fans won't even need other features. It's probably the most satisfying online experience the good Nintendo games have to offer, simply because it's exactly what I want out of online tennis. The ability to play against a friend or to enter tournaments against strangers. This is a must own game for the Switch, IMO, and is great fun with two players. I'm buying it for my cousin for Christmas.

A great gift for a nine year old.
I bought this for my 9 year old nephew, but the first package was lost. However another one was sent to him and he loves it. He told me it’s his favorite game.

Sat On The Shelf Until I Discovered It
I preordered this game and it came. I played it for about 10 minutes when I got it but got quite bored tbh. I tried a go at the I line tournament and was swiftly beaten. I put the game in the case and put it away. 6 months later I decided to give it another go and played for 4 hours today. Once I got past the temple in the adventure story I quickly got the hang of the game. However, the real fun come in the o line tournament. Trying to win the matched is addicting! It’s tough!! This is the winning part of the game. A very fun multiplayer game and I strongly recommend buying this game. It is a different style of multiplayer than what we are used to. Just good clean competitive fun.

Fun game!
Super fun for the whole family. Easy enough for anyone to pick up and enjoy, but the complexity will keep more "serious" players challenged and entertained. Our toddler loves watching us play!

Pleasantly Surprised
I'm not a fan of sports games, but Mario Tennis Aces surprised me. It plays just like standard tennis, but incorporates many different types of moves, an energy bar, trick shots, and special moves that all make it feel more like a fighting game. It's incredibly fun to play with friends and has a substantial story mode as well. Check this game out, it might surpries tou with how fun it is.

Best game in the series
This is easily the best Mario Tennis game in the series. The Adventure mode is a welcome addition (although limited) and I recommend all new players play the Adventure mode prior to heading into the Online Tournament because the Adventure mode teaches the player how to execute the new moves/gameplay additions. The Online Tournament is truly where this game shines and it was encouraging to see Nintendo add additional characters each month post-release to give players something to look forward to. The only negative I have is that there are 4 characters that are incredibly cheap and overpowered compared to the rest (I'm looking at you Chain Chomp, Piranha Plant, Boo, Waluigi). I wish there was a way to avoid having to play against these characters in Online Play and play against characters that actually require more skill. Even if they nerfed these characters like they did with Bowser Jr., it would be much appreciated so players can go head-to-head on a more equal playing field. Ultimately though, I really enjoyed my time with this game and would definitely purchase a sequel if Nintendo were to release one. This game is a solid foundation for the series & hopefully Nintendo builds upon this with a future Mario Tennis release.

Great family fun
Great for player holiday fun game. Myself and my girlfriend took this to her family (loads of young siblings) and it was a huge hit. But the tennis racket grips and play "big ball" with the younger kids. It's a battle to not lose to a 9yo sometimes!

Fun game
This game is fantastic! I love the gameplay, the graphics, and everything else about it. The adventure mode seems like it'll be helpful but I haven't gotten into it much yet. Sure, you can't play a 6 game match, but I personally like the short matches. The tournament mode is great and offers up plenty of tennis despite the 2 game sets. I am still hoping Nintendo will add a feature for players to choose the number of games in a match though. Overall it's a very fun and exciting game!
