these have been amazing! They are hooked to the headrest

I have a 4-runner, and my son is still rear facing. Unfortunately, the a/c upfront does not reach him very well, takes a while and I have to freeze during the process, these have been amazing! They are hooked to the headrest, and the cord plugs into the cigarette lighter right below my arm rest, so I can easily turn off and adjust the speed. The second speed is actually pretty high, so I use 1 most of the time. Definitely recommend for these hot summer days coming.

great for the desert summer

I live in the middle of the burning desert and was wondering how to keep the car seat in the back at a reasonable temperature. These little fans work great. It helps circulate the a/c into the back better. They're a little loud but that's the only negative I've found so far. I have mine turned completely vertical so there's plenty of options on how to position them.

A fan for everyone

I have three of these fans now. 1 per row in the back of my Nissan NV passenger van. This fan is an improvement on the car fans we’ve used in the past. Having multiple fans that can be positioned to face different locations helps keep the fighting over the fan down. We’ve had them for a couple weeks, so time will tell how long they will last.

Easy to install and works well for my purposes. I have a coupe and air flow is weak in the back seat, which is where my dog sits. This has helped keep her cool on a hot day, allowing me to keep the windows up and AC on. Better for keeping allergies out of my car while driving.

Easiest way to cool down the backseat passengers

I drive a little Kia Optima and there are no fans in the back seat. A few months ago I had a baby and I started to get worried that in the summertime the air from the front seat wouldn’t make it back to the backseat enough for him especially since he is rear facing. This fan just seemed like the best option. I have to say that I love it so much. I remember having to ride in the back seat of my friends car when I was younger and it always being hot but I didn’t want to complain because then they would freeze upfront trying to cool me off. Now when someone rides in the backseat they have the control to have the fan speed however they like it. I’m so happy with my purchase and I’m glad that he won’t be back there sweating anymore! The installation was super easy as well it only took a few minutes!

Perfect for our NV passenger van

I purchased these fans because another review mentioned they used them in their NV passenger van. The A/C in rear of our van is not very strong and the kids in the back complain. I had a different fan plugged in (I have a wall plug in the van) but it was just good for one person and it didn't really make a difference. I purchased 2 of these fans, one for each row. They are easy to install, with a bracket that goes either on the inside of the headrest bars (pushing outward) or the outside of the headrest bars (pulling inward) as in my case. The individual fans rotate, not oscillate, too, so the passengers can point the fan to them. I placed each set on the middle seat so that each fan could point to a person the person on either end of the 3-person bench seat. (In my case, we rarely have 3 people in each row. But in that case, we point the actual a/c vents on the middle seat.) The fans are POWERFUL! They blow a good amount of air and do a wonderful job of keeping the rear of the van cool. Each set of fans has a cigarette lighter plug and I was able to use a splitter in my one plug to accommodate both sets of fans. My only complaint it that the power switch on the fans is on the plug end. I would have preferred it to be fairly close the fans themselves to enable to user to adjust the speed or turn them off. The way we have it set up, the fans are just plugged in and ON all the time. When the kids get cold, the point the fan away from themselves. In the event of cooler weather and no one wants the fans on, we just unplug them. **My husband is looking rewiring the switch closer to the fans.

If you're thinking about it, JUST GET IT!

We have a Mazda CX-5. We love our car and the safety it provides, but when we bought it our baby was a rear facing 3 month old and I It was a cold March. Enter in not realizing there are no rear vents. She is now 2 and can tell us how miserable she is in the back in the summer. These fans have made her so happy! The first time we used them she looked at me and said "Oh thank you, mama." Super easy to install, and we like the 2 setting option. It just plugs into a cigarette lighter, so it will actually turn on without the car turning on. And I'm worried about minor batter drain if I leave it in the port when the car is not in use. I can't attest to how well it holds up, but so far, this may top my best things to buy of 2018 list.

Works amazing

This was the best purchase ever. I thought I was going to have to trade in my Chevy Equinox as the back seat does not have air conditioning. Nope not anymore. This bring the cold air from the front to the back. Stays put. Works like a charm.
