Wow! Pretty Amazing Set!

We've had a number of different sets of pans over the years and while not the most expensive, this set is probably the nicest. My wife used to sell Pampered Chef and we bought some stainless steel pans. Food stuck like crazy. We've had a set of real Calphalon (anodized exterior but without the non-stick interior). They were pretty good, but also had a tendency for food to stick. Then we had set of the "Green Pan" stuff with the ceramic non-stick. Until now, they were my favorite, although with time, food has begun to stick to them too. They were also the off-white interior and stained. These new Gotham Steel Professional pans are fantastic! The quality and attention to detail is outstanding. They're nearly identical to the Calphalon we used to have (with the added feature of the copper/ceramic non-stick interior) and are much heavier and better quality than the standard Gotham Steel pans we're checked out in the department store. We still use a bit of oil when cooking and eggs just slide out. The color is absolutely beautiful. The pans were extremely well packaged. The lids fit perfectly. While less expensive than either of the "high-end" brands we've owned, they are as good or better in every way. Well done, Gotham Steel.

Gotham Steel Rocks!

For price point and excellent all around cooking with little to no additional oils or sprays, this set really shines through and outpaces my older calphalon cookware. The cost savings in additional oils and sprays is a good cost point to consider when having to either condition and season a pan, or not have to worry about additional yearly or semi-annual maintenance on your traditional non-stick products. My wife and I are very pleased with this set. No issues, and heat distribution is great. The pasta pot pictured is additional to the set I believe, but it is fantastic and very handy to add to the set if it is not included. We also bought the bakeware set to match and an additional gotham steel square frying pot which all work wonderfully well. We are happy with a great matching set, that is quality constructed.

Easy to use, perfect for busy families :-)

We got a new ceramic top (not induction) stove, and our old reliable cheapie cookware got destroyed. These were a happy medium between another set of cheapie cookware and more expensive finicky pots and pans. Having two young kids, I don’t reallg want to worry about what heat im using or if things will stick. I just want to cook and get it done! Per the instructions, we have NOT used any cooking spray (Pam) with these. Only some butter or olive oil for flavor (or nothing at all). I have cooked eggs, sauces, ground beef, etc. all flawlessly and beyond easy.

I LOVE THESE PANS!!

After I ordered these pans, I had a friend tell me I would be sorry! I am far from sorry. I use these pans daily and so far have had no problems. As for the comments about cooking an egg without oil or butter, I would never cook an egg without it anyway. I use the pans the same way I use any other pan, I am not looking for a magic trick or miracle. The pans are easy to clean, so far they have not scratched, and they keep their color. I use barkeepers friend to clean the outside of the pan and so far no build up. These are truly a non stick pan and work very well.

Very solid. I would recommend.

Early on the non-stick works fantastically (will update if it gets noticeably worse unreasonably soon). Helps make it very easy to wash. Cooking rice was also easy, though I had to add time (see below). Good weight and balance to the pots/skillets. Much thicker metal than my previous cookware set. I actually love this as I think it distributes heat more evenly. I am having to adjust how much heat or time it will take to cook something or even boil water. But that's just adjusting to new tools; it is not a negative in any way. The first set I ordered had a decent sized scratch/gouge in one pan. I ordered a replacement (super easy) inspected the new set and "Frankensteined" a complete, unscratched set. Kinda annoying given how expensive these are but Amazon at least makes it easy. The bottom of the pans seem to scratch it little easier than I'd expect but the jury is still out, honestly. I do recommend it, especially if you can get it on sale.

Gotham Pots and Pans

We purchased the PRO set and are very happy with these. The handles on the PRO set are much more beefy and rounded, not like the cheaper set that you can buy at a discount department store.

Best Pots I've ever Owned

I bought the whole set plus an extra frying pan I love this so much. Excellent quality. They are a good weight. Cook evenly and have nice lids. I cant say enough about how happy I am with this purchase. I do a lot of cooking and this is the only set I will be using from now on. Easy to wash. They are not the type where an egg will glide right off but I haven't had any trouble with sticking. It's a nice surface and the set looks good in my kitchen display.

Pro Series is a Great Buy

I've become a bachelor after my wife passed. I dread cooking and cleaning in our old cast iron and stainless pans. This "Pro" set was something that exceeded my expectations. My favorite characteristics are: Cool, but not excessively long, handles (no pot holders needed!); very durable heavy design; handles and cover have heavy duty rivets not screws which loosen; super easily cleaned; smooth bottoms so as to not scratch glass cooktops; heat distribution is absolutely superb; and they nest conveniently! Glass tops from two of the sauce pans function as covers for two of the fry pans. This is a good buy!

Great pots and pans

I bought two pans at Costco and loved them so much that I wanted the entire set. I definitely use oil or butter in the pans, but they clean easy, don't scratch and so far after a few months, still look brandnew. I wish the largest pot was a bit bigger, but other than that, no complaints.
