Great Desk Accessory!

Being a sucker for Star Wars, I had to try this out! While the light itself is smaller than expected, this particular one is a bargain considering it comes with an LED remote control and two additional plastic inserts (three total). The concept behind the light is simple. The base projects a series of LED uplights which illuminate an etched acrylic insert, probably fabricated via a laser cutter. While the end result is not truly “3D”, the effect is pleasing, and looks awesome in a dark room. Colors can be changed using either the physical power button on the base, or the included remote. The unit runs on batteries and also includes a micro USB cable. You will need to purchase a micro USB wall power adapter if you plan to use it continuously. Alternatively, just can just use an old phone charger to power it. Other sellers on Amazon are charging literally twice as much for the same exact thing, with only one hologram and no remote. Overall, a great desk accessory, and could also easily double as a night/ambient light.

It is awesome and he loves it

Bought this for my Star Wars loving little cousin. It is awesome and he loves it. I am clearly the favorite cousin now lol. Seriously it is very neat, the remote lets you customize the colors and brightness with ease. Lots of options to be had. I want one now!

Cool light.

My wife got his for Christmas and loves it. It's cool how you can change the images and colors. The only problem is it runs on the same frequency as our tv remote and will turn on when we either turn on or off our tv. It doesn't turn off though using the tv remote.

Cool without being too overwhelming

Not exactly 3D, but really cool as an accent to any desk setting for a Star Wars fan. The remote comes with a battery and the lamp with a USB cord (no outlet attachment) so it'd be cool to plug into a computer so it lights up upon start-up. Each plastic attachment comes with a brown stick-on to ensure they don't get damaged. Not too hard to peel off, don't use any sharp tools as to not scratch them. Fingernails on the corners worked just fine and they didn't leave any residue. A great buy and a great gift

Great light for room decor.

Such a cool device. I was out drinking one evening and saw a girl wearing a Vader shirt. I introduced myself and began telling her of this light which I purchased the previous week. So intrigued she asked if she could come see. I genuinely invited her to my place and she instantly loved it, so much she ordered one herself. Once it was purchased we began to make out. Low and behold the force was strong that night amongst us. That night Tye Fighters landed within her Star Destroyer. Sadly she never told me she was apart of the dark side and now my light saber oozes puss. 😣 but overall this light is awesome.

perfect gift

Bought this for my boss's secret santa. I looked at the pictures before buying and it looked cool. I tried right away and the brightest came out very well even in a lit room. Alot of complaints in the comments come from the name misleading them that it's not a 3D projection but just a thick plastic panel. But I bought it for that reason so i'm very happy with the purchase.

Photo doesn’t do it justice; it lights beautifully. It’s a bit bright at first, but there is a dimmer switch. My nephew will be very happy to receive this Christmas morning.

Fantastic little gift

Bought this for a family's white elephant gift. We really thought the kids would use this (2 boys ages 11 and 14) in their room, but nope, my daughter and her husband latched onto and won't let the boys use it. She loves it. She stated it gave off just enough light to not be groping around in the dark tripping over a dog, but not so much light that it made it hard to sleep!

The Perfect Gift

To say that my 7 year old son LOVED this would be an understatement. We gave this to him at Christmas thinking it would be just a fun little thing - but he uses it every night. He shows his friends. He loves changing and using the different models. This was hands down his favorite gift. I highly recommend this.

Fun little light.

Bought this for a friend who is an avid Star Wars fan. He loves it. There are a lot of different colors and settings to play around with. He also found out his TV remote is the same frequency as the light’s remote, so he can turn both on at the same time. Lol
