Sincerely impressed. Fits on all my Sony lenses no matter the size. Also stoked it fits on both ends... I've lost most of the back caps for my lenses.. I know.. Shame on me. Thanks KUVRD. I won't lose you.

Great lens cap that stays on my lens

This is a great lens cap, I have lost more lens caps than I can count and these lens caps solve that problem. I have ordered many regular replacement lens caps and I’ve ordered the incorrect sizes so I have to re-order and then I loose them again, what I love about these lens caps is that they will fit on any lens that I own, I have lenses that range from 40 mm to 70-200. It works on them all and I feel like it makes my gear more secure when I am traveling to and from my studio in my camera bag. It protects not only the glass portion of the lens but it also protects the sides and gives it an extra layer of protection. I have broken a filter from one of my lenses when I dropped my bag one time. This lens cap Would have prevented that breakage because of the material that is used out of makes it more durable and a better protectant for my lenses.

Best Thing Since Sliced Bread!

Until I came across KUVRD Universal Lens Caps, I had no idea what was missing from my life (both as a professional photographer and hobbyist). I live on an island and the environment, while beautiful, is extremely harsh. From sand and red dirt to rain, waterfall mist and salty, heavy, moist air, the ULC is always there when I need it. Easy to put on and take off, it’s great for all types of photographers whether you’re on the go with adventures and weddings or working in a more controlled environment. I love how I can “rip it off” and either “crumple” it into my hand or shove it in my pocket. If I don’t have pockets my armpit works well, too! I cannot speak about this product more highly! It truly is a game changer. And the fact that it comes with a lifetime warranty is stellar. I won’t find myself without a few of these from now until forever.

Worth the Peace of Mind.

Dope. I first saw Kuvrd’s caps on Kickstarter and backed them there. once I got it, I had to get more. I’ve got the Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro, Canon 24mm f/1.4 prime, Canon 35mm f/2.0 prime and the super tele-photo 400mm f/4 OD and these lens caps work for all of them. I don’t think they’re truly universal and will fit every single detachable camera lens on the planet, but in my case, these lens caps do stretch and cover all my lenses. The hardest issue I have with them is stretching it over my 400mm OD lens. They fit nice and snug over the rest of them but it is pretty difficult with my super tele-photo and takes about a minute to get all the way over. i couldn’t imagine it covering larger lens barrel diameters like the canon 500mm. Nonetheless, I’ve been using them for a good amount of time now and find that having them never fall off my lenses working as front and back lens caps and acting as additional ‘bumpers’ in my camera case make these little rubbers worth every dollar spent on them. love them for those reasons alone. Not to mention the dustproof feature is a huge winner for me as i’m often shooting in mountains, desserts and areas with lots of wind and sand and having the lens caps protect my lenses while they sit in an open case near me as I shoot is a major time savor. They just provide reassurance knowing my gear is better protected. Only suggestion would be to make different sizes to cater to all lenses. Very satisfied and happy to support a small business.

I dropped my lens out of the back of my car while I was on a shoot, this lens cap SAVED my Canon 2.8 70-200mm IS II. I also love the way these protect my lenses from scratching each other when they are in my bag!

This lens cap is great on it's own

This lens cap is great on it's own, but I also love using it as a double layer to weather proof my lenses when I am out backpacking our on the beach. It's totally weather sealed and feels very sturdy. I like to buy two and keep one on each end of my lens to really make it bomb proof. Definitely recommend!

it did great. Jump in the water

I bought this to protect my underwater camera housing lens. For it's first scuba trip, it did great. Jump in the water, pull it off at the start of the dive, pull it back on at the end, and get out of the water. It was easy to tuck into my wetsuit during the dive. Awesome.

Lens Saver!

A lot of my ND filters change the size of my threads on the front of my lens (i.e. a 50mm lens is a 49mm lens cap, but the ND filter changes it to 52mm. Now my lens cap doesn't fit). This was becoming a problem with lens caps, having to buy all caps in different sizes for cases where I needed to use my nd filters or not. That's when I found this universal lens cap. I saw it on kickstart, but didn't buy it at that time, didn't think I had a need for it. Now that I have them and have used them for a couple weeks, I wouldn't go back. My #1 feature is just handling my lenses.. Setting them on the ground, dirt, in my bag bouncing into other lenses. These caps absorb so much of the impact from normal wear and tear, these caps will extend the life of my lenses just from abuse! I even threw them on my flashes and they worked perfect. They fit all my lenses without a problem, everything from my small 24mm lenses to really wide lenses, like the sigma 12-24... that thing is thick, and my 70-200. It's nice cause I hate lens caps that are big from lenses with built in lens hoods on some of my wider angle lenses. The kuvrd lens cap goes over it easily and the rubber cap can just be shoved in my pocket without the bulky lens hood lens caps.

Fits exactly how I want it too

This thing stretches and covers my Canon 35mm f/2 and even fits the 85mm f/1.4 and 70-200 f/2.8. the ulc does tend to get a little dusty and hold onto lint but i just blow it off and it works fine. I’m really happy overall 👍

Perfect Lens Protection

I backed kurvd on Kickstarter, got myself some of their lens caps, tried them out, and needed to buy more. I shoot mostly portraits but with lots of lenses I wanted to cover both the front and rear ends of each lens. More than anything i like that they act as cushions in my bag. It’s fairly easy to put them on and if I have extra I just stick them into little open spots throughout my bag until I have a use for them. simple idea and lots of likable features.
