Set up three of these for my driveway/garage lights in the existing lamps on my home . Flip the switch several times gets a different mode effect. These orange flames are more of an accent light, appear and work just as advertised in their picture. Don't expect them to light up your driveway, but do appear as if your light fixture is on fire inside, and will catch anyone's eye. I leave them in flame mode each night. Removed my light switch and installed an indoor RZ307 Tork sunset digital timer (adjust to local sunrise & sunset), so I can run them each night but not through the day (LED lights, auto switch, cheaper electric bill). Grabbed a new light switch plate to accommodate switches and the timer and I'm done. Completely happy with the setup, just what I wanted.

These work great in a fixture with frosted glass. In clear glass its not as convincing. I tried this in a fixture that you screw in from the top (like a lamp) and a fixture you screw in from the bottom (like a ceiling fixture). I felt that it performed better with in a the bottom screw in fixture with the bulb pointing down. Its not going to light up your porch bright enough on its own but we have other exterior lighting that does that job. We have a fairly deep and long porch with a recessed door so we could use these on wall mounted lanterns next to the door and aim our other exterior lighting so that none directly hit the porch. It really lets these bulbs be seen and still get just enough reflective light to brighten the porch area. We will see how long it lasts but so far (2 months) all is good.

I recently installed a three light outdoor lamp post and purchased these based on other customer reviews. Honestly, these are truly wonderful! They are very very realistic. They look just like old fashioned gas lights.(very orange in color , which I love) We have had people drive by the house and obviously slow down to look at them. I also have a porch light next to my door and put a light in there as well. Unfortunately it blew out within 24 hours. I ordered 4 more bulbs so that I could replace the porch light and have some back ups. I am hoping I just got 1 bad bulb and the rest will last for the stated time frame. I would like to return the 1 bad bulb for a replacement. So if the company reads this please reach out and let me know how I can do this. So far I absolutely love this product and I can highly recommend!

Have had in for just a few days but really like them so far. We have upright lights in the front and downward facing lights in the back. Both work just fine. Really does look realistic and the amount of light they give is really wonderful. Would highly recommend.

I watched a few different Youtubers reviewing this bulb and others. This bulb came out on top and I bought it along with the Hudsen which came in at 2nd place with one Youtuber. The Hudsen was still crap compared to this brand, looking more like a digital flame. The Omicoo bulb is THE best and most realistic looking flame bulb out there right now. It has '4' modes. I was bummed about this at first thinking the bulb was unfit for scenarios where you'd be switching the light on and off regularly, like a bedside lamp, and I'd have to power cycle through 3 modes every time. Then I discovered just waiting a few seconds before turning it back on still retains the previous mode, and to switch modes you just power cycle it quickly till you get to the mode you want. This bulb is also double the watts at 6 watts and higher brightness (320 lumens) as opposed to 3 watt (200 lumens) for the Hudsen. Brightness of the Omicoo is perfect for my ouside front porch area, where I think the 200 would be too dim anyway. Great product Omicoo!
