Good home security sensors and alarms

I have used these type of sensors/receivers for years, and found them on Amazon, so I did not have to keep running to the store to buy more! They work very, very well, and run on 9v and C batteries. They are weather resistant, and, are well worth having. You can place them all around your property, and know when someone is around. It can be a little annoying if it is not an intruder, but, you learn to associate what is due to "normal" traffic, on foot, or in vehicle, as mine actually reach out to the street level - as I have 1.35 acres, and, house sits in the middle, and my sensors reach out to the easements. You can shut them off temporarily, if you have your animals outside, or a lot of company, but, other than that, I am very glad to include these in my home security devices. Well worth their cost for peace of mind. Even my dogs pay attention to my reaction to the sensors going off, and respond appropriately as well. If they see me checking to see what sets them off, they tune in as well. Nice combo!

This simple two motion sensors alarm is a great deal for the price.

This simple motion sensor alarm is a great deal for the price. It has been working perfectly for 3 weeks at this point and has exceeded my expectations. Having the second motion sensor transmitter as part of the package is a really nice extra. One motion sensor is placed as a driveway alert and the other is placed on our back porch to let us know when Tommy the Orange Tabby is there and wants to come in.. The two sensors are at opposite ends of the house and the receiver is in the middle of the house and the signal doesn't seem to be affected by the walls of the house. In fact the porch sensor signal must transit the entire length of our house to get to the receiver. Best of all there are virtually no false alarms even with the driveway sensor being mounted on a wooden stake 18" off the ground and exposed to the weather including the 40 mph winds during the last winter Bomb Cyclone Riley that walloped the Northeast.. My only heads-up to everyone is that there is no difference between the sound of the alarms set off by each sensor, so you won't actually know which one is alarming. That's simply not a deal breaker for us since Tommy doesn't typically return home after patrolling the grounds for hapless 4-legged varmints after 9 PM, plus we also have motion sensed driveway and walkway lights that work in concert with the audible driveway alarm that we can easily see as a confirmation for the driveway audible alarm.

Great range, great detection

Excellent detection and great range for the receiver. Battery life is yet to be determined but it has been working great now for a few months on a single battery, so even if the battery needed replaced tomorrow, it has done well.

Works Great!

Great product. Perfect if you have kids that you don't want to go outside or in certain rooms. The best part is that the detectors are mobile and you can move them anywhere you want. Wish that their were different tones for the two detectors. They have the same tone and you are not sure which detector is alarming. I would buy them again. Even used them in my haunted house to let the entrance know where people inside were located.

Work great. I have been using another brand for years

Work great. I have been using another brand for years. These are so much easier to set up. They work everytime, not just 1/2 the time. They do not have the little opening that spiders build nests in. I have them set up at my walkways so I will hear people near the doors. Use them as doorbells. And I am reordering to set one at a low area to alert me when my cat comes to the door at night. These driveway alerts saved my life, due to intruders twice. I was able to detect the trespassers before they got into the house.

I wasn't sure a product such as this -- at this price -- would work well. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. It is very effective! We have had to position the sensors strategically because it really does pick up on as wide range of movement. We live in the country but have a somewhat close neighbor, and if pointed in a certain direction, the sensor would go off and on when the neighbor mowed his yard and would go in and out of range. We have found an excellent spot for both sensors now and are very happy. We have had some very windy days and no problems with the wind activating the sensor. Very happy to find this effective product at such a good price. I was not paid or given a promotional product for this review.

Arrived timely and as described

My Mom in home hospice, so we wanted some advance notice when visitors arrive to visit. This works well and also alerts us to any movement around the house at night! Great to alert you to known and unknowns! Batteries have lasted almost a year. Also had to adjust it a few times to get that "sweet spot", but works great!
