High quality, fresh beans!
I generally don't order coffee from Amazon. I ordered this on a whim and here is my opinion on these beans. They simply were some of the freshest beans I have ever ordered. They were well packaged and clean. They roasted evenly and tasted wonderful. If you are looking for a high quality, clean, well sourced product, this is it!

Coffee
Very fast shipping. Roasted 1 lb well in my Behmor 1600. It took about 14 minutes to reach 1st crack and another 3 to hit 2nd crack, at which point I started the cooling cycle. I let it rest for 3 days. I brewed some at work using about 6 tablespoons in a 6 cup french press. I let it steep for about 5-6 minutes. It had a slight sweet/fruity flavor and was very smooth. I shared a cup with my coworker and he enjoyed it very much.

Very fresh beans
Addendum: Just ordered my second bag. This is an excellent coffee that changes taste according to how you roast it. A light roast and you get a lighter and sweeter coffee. Medium to dark roast (just showing oil on beans) and you get a strong and robust coffee. This is my favorite coffee bean. P.S. Added two of my Latte Art Pictures :) Very fresh and a great strong coffee, with a hint of chocolate taste. I roast where the beans when finished, will just barely have a hint of oil on them. My equipment: 1. Gene Cafe Coffee Bean Roaster (16.7 minutes at 451 degrees Fahrenheit) 2. HG One hand coffee bean grinder (Built like a tank and will outlast at least 3 generations) 3. Olympia Express Cremina (Simply the best manual lever espresso machine in existence, being made for the last 50 years!)

Bought the 5lb bag and kept my fingers crossed. First time purchasing green beans from Amazon, typically purchase elsewhere, so I was a bit concerned about size and freshness. I could not be more satisfied. Roasted up a half pound and am very pleased with the results. The beans roasted evenly and popped plump. I will likely go through this bag pretty quickly and will definitely purchase more.

Very good coffee
I am a coffee gourmand and always make my own coffee at home. I roast my coffee on iron skillet on the gas stove over medium-low heat to heat it evenly. I like medium or medium-light roast. When it comes to preparing my morning cup of coffee, I use turkish coffee pot and bring it to a boil over medium heat, but not letting it boil. That gives me very strong and flavorful cup of coffee. This coffee has mild taste even if I overcook it to medium-dark roast. But the balance of bitterness is better on medium roast. An Update: I tried recently light roasted coffee and loved it. For such purpose this coffee is not the best. It has more acidity and strong aftertaste is not pleasing at all.

Great C+ to FC+
Great Packaging.. everything I expected... I roasted a small batch in an air popper, took to Full City... Rested 3 days and Was excellent.. as good as any Colombian I had bought other places... I use Colombian as a bass for my blends.. just myself and wife and once in a while a gift or two to people.. Anyway did the next batches 2 lbs at a time in my drum roaster always hear first crack no problem. Also quality of the beans was great only a few quakers here and there.

Very tasty. I'd buy it again.
Nice coffee, fast delivery and well packaged. I find it to be very flavorful roasted just to the beginning of second "crack". Good size beans take a little longer when roasting on my SR500, (maybe a minute or so) but the end result is very satisfying.

I will never buy a supermarket coffee any more
I have discovered that it is much easier than I have ever imagined to roast your own coffee! Just throw some beans in your electrical oven, set the timer, temperature and that's it. I do not care about the tiny details of making the best of the best coffee. These beans are just perfect and I have vary the roasting as I wish. Be happy!

Tastes amazing and it is packaged with a resealable bag which is really nice
I love the fresh nutty fresh coffee smell And the taste is very smooth I am new to coffee roasting so I made a light roast but I think this coffee will be even better as a dark roast as most Colombian coffees are meant to be

Fresh, and good quality control
I had to stop getting the other brand I had purchased in the past due to quality issues. But so far so good with this brand. No rocks, no half bug-eaten beans, and no rotten/stale beans either. I made my own coffee in a popcorn maker and gave out fresh coffee as Christmas gifts in decorative containers—and more than one person told me it was the best they had ever tasted!
