Makes an unbearably hard, old mattress comfortable!

I read through tons of reviews before making a purchase, so I hope this review helps someone else out there! Our family has a camp house on a lake with mattresses that are possibly older than me that are very hard/stiff coil spring mattresses. Every year we've stayed there, we wake up sore from having tried to sleep on our sides, and is even uncomfortable just sleeping on your back. This year, we were staying for over a week, so we splurged on getting a mattress topper to try to make the bed more comfortable. I was skeptical that a 2" topper would really make that much of a difference and almost bought a 3" topper, but I was very happily surprised with how much of a difference a 2" topper made! Especially laying on your back, this topper made it feel like a completely different mattress. I would say that if you're a side-sleeper only and you're going to invest in a mattress topper (especially for your bed you use every day) that will seriously eliminate any shoulder/hip discomfort, go for a 3", but if you're a mixed back/side sleeper, you'll probably be pretty darn happy with a 2" topper. The mattress topper was well packaged, we did not experience any chemical/bad smell from it, and it "poofed up" to its full 2" size within 15-30 minutes. We got to the camp house about 4 hours before bedtime, and so we didn't follow the instruction to wait 24 hours before using... I was afraid that we would somehow damage it by not waiting for the full amount of time, but to be honest, it was totally expanded, was great to sleep on even after only 4 hours, and is still in perfect condition. Sleeping on my back was a dream, and sleeping on my side was leaps and bounds more comfortable than it had been without it, but still my shoulder would be a little sore if I slept on my side the whole night. We didn't find that it got too hot during the night, not any more so than our mattress at home. After our vacation, we folded and rolled it up, put it into a big garbage bag (because there's no way to get it back in the box it came in!) and brought it home to put on our guest bed - it unfolded and re-expanded perfectly. I hope this topper travels well again with us next year! I will say that the regular fitted sheet we had just barely fit over the topper and mattress (which is not a thick mattress at all), so I would recommend having sheets designed for a thicker mattress. Overall, very very happy with this purchase - it revolutionized our sleeping experience for the whole time on vacation, and will hopefully make the guest bed something our guests actually like to sleep in! as he heard it was better for you

It does have a slight smell, so make sure and air it out for a day or two. We laid it out on the bed, and then used it. We had a mattress that my husband wanted to get, rock hard, as he heard it was better for you. After a year, he gave in, as we were both just so sore, but we really didn't want to pay out a lot of money for a new mattress, so we decided to try this. It is wonderful, and I have slept very soundly since we put it on 2 weeks ago. I highly recommend this product.

My Bodies Best Friend!

Omg! When I say this mattress topper has breathed new life into my mattress that is an understatement!!! I am not a back sleeper at all! Stomach sleeper all the way. I fell asleep on my back and woke up at 7am ON MY BACK! Did not move at all and am not sore, stiff or achy. It’s like sleeping on a cloud IN THEE MOST LITERAL WAY! I recently purchased a Zinus memory foam mattress here on Amazon, which had great reviews. I must’ve got a lemon, because it is absolute crap! Was ready to throw it out then decided to try this topper....wow! Just wow!!! I opened it, put it on my mattress & within 30 minutes it was FULLY expanded! Equally expanded on all sides and corners...even expanded slightly more than 3”. It covered the entire bed, no shortcomings. The smell is faint but not overpowering. Not a crack or a tear like I’ve seen on some of the reviews. Maybe it’s a hit or miss and I was lucky enough to get a hit. Will see how it holds up and update later if need be. But for $80 even it it only lasts a year, I’m good with that.

The topper allows the best night's sleep

We have 2 mattress pads covering the topper... WOW, no heat and we have deep pocket sheets. We no longer have any problems with pressure points (which is a huge plus since I have Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, scoliosis, and a neck pinched nerve), and the topper has no movement when one of us moves or switches position. The topper allows the best night's sleep, and is the best I have found after working in the furniture and mattress retail for almost 13 years!

Great product! I had a wonderful sleep!

My memory foam topper came quickly and was easy to set up. I loved how conveniently it shipped and loved watching the foam inflate when I opened the seal. I've never slept on memory foam before and was worried that I would sink in too much or that it would be too hot, but I had a great night sleep last night and would recommend this topper to anyone! The topper fit with the sheets I already had which was nice as well.

Phenomenal mattress topper

I've waited two months to write this review as I wanted to be sure of my opinion about this mattress topper, and I absolutely love it! I have quite severe back problems and my mattress at university is hard as a rock and uncomfortable. When I added this topper and slept comfortably for the first time, I thought I might cry! It of course doesn't completely stop my back from hurting (even my chiropractor struggles to do that so I had no illusion), but it definitely makes a phenomenal difference. I do not wake up during the night and I feel rested in the morning when I wake up. I had seen so many different mattress toppers on Amazon before I bought this one that I was really scared to have made the wrong choice but thank God I made the right one! I would recommend it 100%.

Wow, a company that actually CARES about their customers, incredible!!

3 inches of memory foam isn't enough for me. I'm paralyzed from the waist down and have been for 26 years now. All of a sudden I'm getting pressure sores on my hips (I'm a side sleeper) that I've never gotten before. I'm going to maybe buy a 2nd memory foam topper, maybe a 2 inch one to put beneath this one as I'm still getting pressure. Anybody else have this problem? I can tell you this, the company cares about their customers 100% I bought this and told them of my problem and they gave me a full refund, I could not believe it. It's rare these days to find a company that cares about the people that buy their goods. I told them that since I'm in a wheelchair that there was no way I'd be able to get it back in the box and pick it up and mail it back. I honestly thought they would tell me that I was up the creek without a paddle. But nope, they issued me a full refund, told me they were sorry it didn't help and told me to keep it. Now, don't get the wrong idea, they did not pay me to say any of this. I was just so shocked at how nice they were that I had to give them 5 stars as a company. Also, MY body isn't their problem. I read the reviews before I bought this and everyone says it's great. It's crazy soft and you sink right in, so comfortable, it just didn't relieve my pressure on my boney areas, I'm all skin and bones from my waist down ever since my accident and that's why I have pressure sore problems. Linenspa also makes complete mattresses and I think I'm going to try one of them. Maybe my old bed is just too old, I have to find something bc I can't keep living like this. Thank you again to all those great workers and the owners of Linenspa for being so kind, it will never be forgotten!!

Never before has 3 inches felt so good!

Very happy with this purchase!! The foam expanded quickly to its full size. It was the full three inches within a few minutes of opening it. It's got just as much "memory"-- if not more-- than the 2 inch one I bought from Target. There is a very very faint odor, but I found it barely noticeable and expect it to dissipate quickly. Its even bigger than my bed, too, which is nice.

Very nice and soft

Used this on a stiff mattress and it really did help make it soft and can finally sleep. I'm a side sleeper and took the pain off my hips. I got the 3" after reading some of the reviews on other 2" brands. The extra inch makes a difference. I didn't notice any cooling effect but it definitely works to soften up the bed. Once I unpacked it, it expanded to full size in just a few minutes.

Perfect!

I'm not in love with my mattress- it's a bit too firm for my preference, but it was ok sleeping on it for a couple of years. When I became pregnant, I started experiencing joint pain in my pelvis, hips, knees, and ankles in my 1st trimester, and suddenly my firm mattress seemed to highlight all of these pressure points. I bought the 2" foam topper and all that has changed. It's still supportive while also being very cushioning. I think the 3" or 4" would be too thick and I'm glad I got the 2". I personally don't see any difference from the blue gel or ventilation in terms of cooling- I would say this isn't "hot" but definitely isn't "cooling" - it's a wash. It took a day or 2 laid out on the guest bed to fluff up from its packaging, and while it had a foamy odor, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting and I have no issues sleeping on it a couple days after opening it. Highly recommend if you need to plush up your firm mattress!
