Works great at a great price. Got my knife razor sharp.

This leather strop kit fits my needs well and the price cannot be beaten. The leather has no flaws or blemishes. Giving you a nice smooth surface to sharpen your knives razor sharp. The polishing compound is Green, which is supposed to best for stainless steel, but it seems to work just fine on High Carbon steel. After just a few passes my knives are sharp enough to shave the hairs of my arm. As a side note, this strop is just a piece of quality leather. It is not attached to a paddle or board. For my purposes, this works for me. It allows me to make a custom block that fits my homemade sharpening system. Keep this mind if you are considering purchasing this item. If you don't want to make your own paddle, consider one of the other strops that BeaverCraft sells already attached to a paddle or board.
