Love this camera works very good have it on a Dodge 2500 long bed had no problems with the cables region thought I was going to but everything worked out just fine camera has a great view on my Pioneer the only weird thing is is you can actually see stuff floating in the air that you cannot see with your naked eye going in front of the camera LOL so happy I bought this

I paired this with a Pioneer AVH-201EX head unit, but I have to actually engage the camera manually to use it when in reverse. It could be a head unit issue, so I'm keeping it at 5 stars because when it's on it does exactly what i need it to do and the picture is very clear.

Easy installation and good quality

The camera comes in a thick cardboard package as in the description, it is totally plastic and waterproof, I checked it submerged the camera in water for 10 min and it does not filter that speaks very well of the product, the image is excellent quality both day and night, very easy to install with the guide it provides.

So far, so good. This was a replacement for an existing backup camera and the picture quality is much better. I just wish they would start making these with a "hood" over the camera lens so you could actually see when it is raining or snowing. One drop of water on the lens and the picture in unable to be viewed.

very easy to hook up. feels durable, only thing i didnt like was the wire size. it made it hard to wire, they are tiny. the light on it is surprisingly really bright.

Pretty good camera with straightforward installation. I have this installed in my car. Really like it, and quality not bad, especially during the night time.

Worked great. Easy to install. The only thing I would suggest is that they throw in a couple of quick splice self stripping t-tap connectors for tapping into the reverse lights for power. Saves time with those little gems and makes it easy. Other than that...GREAT product!

unsure if this will go with your truck as normally new vehicles are coming with backup cameras as the normal I had to replace my old backup camera on my 2007 Nissan Maxima due to the LED lights got dull & it wasn't showing clear anymore but this item is AWESOME & CRISPY CLEAR it only took my mechanic less than 30 mins to install & he done it for free....I Love It & of course it was cost efficient...didn't break the bank shows clear during the day & also @ night...

For the low price, this is great. I don’t expect too much from a back up cam. I just want to see what’s behind me. Quality and color are not a concern, hard to say on such a small screen and any quality issues could be the head into display. This camera seems fine. No fogging due to moisture. Unit is well sealed. Daylight, seems good enough and serves its purpose. Never noticed anything odd about the color or resolution. Everything looks fine. Light, works well at night. Bright enough to see any potential obstacles. Camera Backup lines, those seem right on the money and don’t require using the back up line setting on my head unit. Instal, easy enough and connected easily to my KENWOOD head unit. One plus would be if they included two new bolts to fit standard license plate retainers. Found out my dealer installed screws were cheap plastic and those broke upon removal. So, had to find new bolts. For less than $20 this is a good product. I’ve had it for almost a year. If it went bad after a year, I’d consider it a successful product, at a bargain basement price and then buy another one. It’s in a pretty demanding environment. 100 degree heat, rain, snow, then sub zero temps.

Cheap camera that really works great!

Used this camera to replace the broken back up camera on my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. The CoolWoo camera has much better low light performance than the stock backup camera had. I removed the camera from the licence plate bracket supplied with the CoolWoo because the dimensions almost matched the Hyundai camera. The Hyundai camera bracket had to be modified since the CoolWoo has the cable entrance on the top instead of the bottom as in the Hyundai camera. I cut off the CoolWoo video connector and power connector and soldered the wires to the Hyundai connector. The CoolWoo wire colours matched the Hyundai and the installation worked first time. Considering that a replacement Hyundai OEM camera can cost $200 CDN, the CoolWoo is a fantastic deal. My only only product improvement suggestion is that the camera should be enclosed in a weatherproof rubber boot to stop road salt and moisture from getting into the electronics. I am sure that is what killed the original Hyundai backup camera.
