A Very Good Tablet Case!

I purchased the JETech Case for my new Amazon Fire HD 8 with Alexa Tablet (8th Generation-2018). The case provides very good protection for the front and back of the tablet. There are two modes: viewing and typing (landscape only). I use the typing mode for viewing and scrolling most of the time. I use the viewing mode for hands-free operation with Alexa. The sleep mode is enabled when the front cover is on the screen. I purposely left the tablet on and in sleep mode overnight to test the battery, there was no battery usage at all. The purchase price of $9.98 is a real bargain that includes a lifetime warranty after product registration. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 that is sporting a Samsung case that retailed for $49.99. I purchased that case after receiving a 50% discount coupon from Samsung. I will definitely consider purchasing the JETech cases in the future!

Unsolicited response

I would buy this again. For the price, it's great. I actually like it better than the one I spent way more for my kindle 7. Snaps around corners, the cover magnetically holds in place, buttons are easily accessible. Although I doubt if this held up with a high use/abuse situation, like work, school or kids, basically because it is lightweight and kindle just pops in instead of being surrounded and strapped in like others. Bedside, lunchbox, camping etc for responsible teen or adult , think it will do just fine. I would buy this again.

Great case!

I have one of these cases for my 10 inch Samsung tablet and now I have one for my Amazon Fire 8 inch. I love them, I think they're really great. A lot of times when you get a new case it's really stiff and has sharp corners and you have to spend a lot of time breaking it in. These cases are perfect right away and they last a really long time. I've had the one on my 10-inch tablet for 6 months and it still looks brand new. No, they don't offer a ton of protection if you're the type of person who drops your tablet a lot, they're more for a person who is looking for protection against screen shattering and scratches from wear and tear without adding a lot of bulk to the tablet design. I have dropped my tablet with the case on more than once but never on a harsh surface like concrete or something. I think the case would offer limited protection against a surface like that but for light wear and tear it's a great case. I specifically shop for this brand of case now. The price of the case has nothing to do with my choice to buy this specific brand, but you have to admit the price is pretty good. My tagline for this would be great quality, great price, and supple and comfortable in the hand right from the get-go.

Great quality without breaking the bank!

I was skeptical when I saw this case because the price was so low, but I read the reviews and most buyers were telling how great it was so I decided to give it a chance and I am so glad I did! This case is very well made and not flimsy like I thought it would be. I have had it for a couple of months and have used to a lot since then, plus my teenager who is rough with everything, has used it more than I have and there is no sign of wear and tear! Don't let the price fool you! you will be happy that you didn't pay a fortune for quality!

Better than Amazon's case

This case is better than the Amazon's case because of its design. With the Amazon case you snap it in (this is for the 8" model) with covers up the slot for the micro SD card and the holes for sound. JETech has holes for the sound to come out (which means you hear it better). There is a hole for the micro SD card so I don't have to pry the tablet out of the case to add new pictures or videos. Brought it for my wife's, but I will be ordering another for me.

Fits really well, can still see some of the Fire's color on the sides

This case looks and feels well-made and I think it fits the Fire 8 HD (2018, is what I have) well. Great quality for the price (this was the least expensive cover I could find), and I received it ahead of schedule, so am very satisfied with the service/seller from that perspective. Already registered it for the 'lifetime warranty', so we'll see how that works. I just received it today, so can't comment on its longevity, but so far, I can say that it fits the Fire perfectly, all cutouts are in the right place, and opening the magnetic cover 'wakes up' the Fire. I also like that it doesn't cover the tablet up completely, so you can still see the color peeking through if you got a red, blue or yellow version of the Fire. Makes the cover a bit nicer even in plain black. Thanks!

Very pleased with this case.

This case fits perfect on my fire 8, it's very well made, light weight case, folds nicely, the sleep function is great and it's inexpensive. The tablet fits in my purse perfectly without making it feel heavy.

Lovely, Slender & Sturdy

It's a beautiful bright red, slender, lightweight case, came with a lifetime warranty card, and, my older (6th generation) Kindle fits in it too. Actually, the 6th generation Kindle is a bit more snug fitting, which I think might actually be 'safer', somehow. (To be fair, though, I don't recall any of our Kindles falling out of any case of the cases we've purchased through Amazon.) Unless something comes up that I can't foresee based on having just received the product this month, I would definitely buy another case like this - if I had need to do so. At $10.99 (& free shipping on orders over $25.00) it's a wonderful deal. I much prefer it to the cases I saw that were listed in a higher spending bracket. (I say this without reservation as I've purchased older cases through the Amazon Warehouse Deals before, cases that had ORIGINALLY been listed at ridiculously high prices and weren't built nearly well enough to warrant such costs. Why pay $17.00 - $50.00 and UP for a case to hold your Kindle when a $10.99 case works just as well, feels nice in your hands AND looks good?)

Exactly what I wanted

I think some of the other cases at this price point don't have the same, minimal method for attaching to the tablet. This one clips to the very corners, and doesn't cover any part of the front of the tablet. Others seem to have some material which wraps around the tablet face. I didn't want that, so very, very pleased with this one.
