Having read reviews on several similar products regarding fit before purchasing, I ordered 3 same sized pairs (8.5-9.5 women) from different companies. The other 2 pair pushed my toes to the front while leaving a gap at the heel. The Barerun fit correctly! So, I returned the others and ordered 3 more pair of the Barren in different colors/patterns to share with my mother. Those arrived today, and I can confidently state that they, too, go on easily, fit well, look great, and the rubber soles provide good grip on all surfaces (mom is 94 and needs good traction for stability).

I got the largest size 12-13 Mens as I am a man who wears a 12D in dress shoes and a 12.5-13 in Adidas or Nike running shoes. They fit just right but could fit a slightly larger foot I think (even though feel snug and secure around the ankle and top of foot). I got these as camp shoes (my desired use) because very light and store flat and are reasonable cheap. And because they have a true rubber sole that appears will stand up to limited outdoor wear (i.e., walking around a campsite doing chores). A lot of camp slippers have like a nylon bottom with some attempt at traction, but they abrade easily and are not waterproof on the bottoms. These are truly rubber on the bottom, so just perfect. The nylon upper isn't necessarily heavy duty like you might find in another swim shoe, as it is thinner polyester material and not a neoprene. And so not exactly waterproof, but won't soak up a lot of water either like neoprene. I like the upper material just fine for my purposes--not sure what would be like if you wear submerged in the water. In any event, as camp shoes, these seems like a good buy. Haven't worn them enough to advise on long term durability but appear to be well made and for the price I think will last long enough to be worthwhile.

Just got back from Panama City Beach and these were the perfect water shoes! They fit perfect and kept my feet protected in the sand and water. I’m not a fan of stepping into the ocean and stepping on God knows what so I figured water shoes/socks would be a good option. I even went snorkeling with them because I wasn’t comfortable wearing the flippers in the ocean. They are pretty sturdy and show no signs of wear after 5 days in the water and the bottom seems pretty rugged without being cumbersome. I threw them in washing machine when I got home and air dried them and I’m putting them away until my next water adventure!

These are the coolest shoes. I bought them for sailing (dinghies and keel boats), and they have excellent grip on slippery surfaces and they dry very quickly. I love feeling air on my toes even when I'm wearing shoes. I like them so much that I started wearing them for errands, hiking, and to work... I can't tell you how many conversations have started with something along the lines of "where are your shoes/what are you wearing/why are you wearing socks?" then I show them the tread and we all get excited and start talking about how we hate wearing real shoes. These are total strangers! I should be getting paid to advertise these, haha. Anyway, they're amazing shoes. I really liked hiking with them too. Your feet might get a little sore at first if they're accustomed to very soft/enclosed shoes, but that goes away. I have even gone running with them now. You get to be conscious of your feet and how they're moving, what you're walking on, etc, while still having excellent, trustworthy tread. I just bought another pair that look like flats. Hoping they'll be as good.

These are very nice. You have to consider what you will be using them for. I just needed something to slip on quickly to run errands outside without slipping. They will serve that purpose well. They have a firm grip on tile thus preventing slips and falls. Good for a bug out bag. They store light and well. They appear to be well made and built to last but again depends on usage. They do run a bit small so do consider next size up. They fit comfortably and snugly conforming to the feet. Feels like you are wearing moccasins. Almost a barefoot feel but with protection and grip.

Great Water Shoes!! I bought this with uncertainty, I read all the reviews and decided to give them a try. The first thing I did was glue down the insoles with gorilla glue, due to the reviews. I bought these shoes for SUP boarding and they worked great!! So my review is if your looking for inexpensive water shoes for SUP boarding these are it! I bought smalls and my shoe size is normally a 5 and they fit like a glove! Very satisfied and pleased with my purchase.

The most comfortable eater shoes I’ve ever owned! They made walking over rocks and shells a breeze. The design makes you feel barefoot while protecting your feet. They also kept sand Out. They are very light weight and come in a reusable waterproof bag. They dried very quickly.

Good shoes for snorkeling on rocks. They can be a tiny bit heavy on the feet when swimming but work great walking around with wet feet on rocks or by pool. They can get stinky, like any wet item, but are easily washable. Inside insole comes out. Fit true to size.

The only problem is that the insoles are loose and come out when swimming. need to make sure they're glued in, correctly. These are so comfortable and I even wear them around the house, out to the mailbox. Awesome shoes swim shoes. Up north around Lake Michigan we have pebbles and stones on our beaches, but these shoes .....don't feel a thing. They stretch and don't pinch at all. If you have bunions or arthritis in your toes, these feel wonderful.

My husband loves these!~ They are incredibly comfy, does not slip off in the pool or when swimming in the ocean (we were in Puerto Vallarta and he said he had no problems with slippage or sand getting inside). He also noted that these gripped the bottom of the pool when walking in so that's a great plus! I will be purchasing at least 2 more since he is incredibly picky with water shoes, or shoes in general. He's already requesting a pair for in-home use LOL.
