My first installation with NO BUBBLES!

I'm the kind of person who ends up with bubbles every time she tries to put this kind of protectors on devices. The Switch was starting to get scratched by putting it in and out of the dock and I was starting to use it outdoors much more, and when traveling, so really needed to get something on the screen because it gets scratched in the middle and I regret not having a screen protector. This protector is superb. Very easy to install by following the clear instructions. At first I thought it would be challenging but just follow the steps religiously and you'll be golden. I had a bubble the size of a water bottle cap despite following the instructions but I kept doing what it said: push with the finger the bubble to the sides. It was slow, so you have to be patient, but as the adhesive product works it magic the process helps to reduce the bubble's size. In the end my Switch now has a super solid protector that's the right size and bubble free! It took me maybe 5-10min to do. The package comes with everything you need: wet and dry wipe (very tiny but it's enough for a Switch!), sticker to pick up dust if any on the screen, stickers to keep the screen into position once you've determined the right alignment. I'm always doubtful about self installation for screen protectors but came to say, go with it, this works and is worth it. Oh last thing: the size is perfect. Drives me nuts when a screen protector is off and leaves space on the sides of the screen. This one leaves just a tiny tiny line of space, and has everything aligning perfectly.

Perfect in every way!!

This screen protector is amazing! It’s sturdy, barely noticeable, and well made! The packaging was perfect and protective, and included easy instructions with tools to help put it on perfectly straight. I was able to get it in one try! I even got some follow up emails from the company telling me about their lifetime warranty I had no idea was included, and for the price I am blown away at how amazing a deal and a breeze this was! I would highly recommend going with this item to procrect your switch, especially since docking it for your TV can cause serious scratches. This does the job perfectly! On top of that, there’s 3 as well, so I have backups in case it does damage! I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend investing in this product for the protection and quality you need for your switch!

GREAT COMPANY AND PRODUCT!

I had purchased a large ivoler Switch travel bag because I wanted something to carry my Switch that wasn’t going to cost an arm and a leg. I was happy with that case and in need of a screen protector as mine was returned from a repair with Nintendo without one. I’d heard rumors of the initial docks scratching screens and since I had a day one Switch I’m not taking chances. I’m spoiled by the tempered glass screen protectors on my iPhone that gives the natural feeling of the real phone screen and wanted the same for my Switch. I’m very very happy to report that ivoler has achieved the same with these protectors. You can get tempered glass protectors in the same price range anywhere, but I like to find a brand I trust and stick with it. They earned my trust with the first case and have continued to earn it with these!

Can be installed perfectly with a little caution and prep work

I picked this product based on the number of positive reviews (1k+) and it did not disappoint. I love getting 3 screen protectors, as it's comforting to know that if you get a hair or dust pulled in by the static created by pulling the adhesive off, you can just toss that one aside and try again. I installed it perfectly on the first try and the screen is clear and bubble/dust free. Here are my installation tips (disclaimer: this worked really well for me, but no guarantee it will be perfect for everyone): 1. Turn the shower on hot and close the bathroom door for 5 minutes (not a joke - I used this tip I borrowed from someone else because the steam and vaporized water clings to free floating dust and gets it out of the air). If you're being environmentally friendly, plan ahead and do the screen protector after an actual shower. 2. Re-enter steamy bathroom, turn off the shower, and give the bathroom a minute to de-fog. 3. Bring in the switch (no joycons attached) and clean the screen well with provided wipes - the dry one is most important to get rid of oil/greasy residue. 4. Peel off the adhesive backing, carefully only holding the edges with clean, dry hands. 5. Align one corner and short edge (left or right - I started on the left side since I'm right handed), carefully keeping the margins (distance from the edge of the screen) small and parallel. 6. Start lowering the screen protector down, focusing on keeping the top edge parallel with the screen edge. If it's slightly off, this is the best time to gently pull back up slightly, pivot to align the top edge more closely to parallel, and then slowly lower the screen protector on top of the screen. 7. When done slowly, the screen protector should naturally squeeze out the air as it adheres to the surface of the screen. Some air might exist on the edges, but gently milking the glass with your thumb from the center of the screen to the outside will squeeze out the remaining air pockets.

Great Quality

Received today and seems like a great quality screen protector. Actually seems like glass, unlike most screen protectors I see these days that claim they're glass but aren't. I don't even think I'll ever need 3, but I usually get multiple because I expect I'll mess up the first application as I usually do. I didn't with this! Using the hinge method it describes in the package, I didn't even need to press down to get bubbles out, it just did that all on its own. Only issue is that you should be careful to remove all dust around the edges of the screen protector before you remove the backing from it, as dust tends to like to stick to the slightly adhesive edge. It also doesn't see very anti-fingerprint like it claims but that's a minor issue to me.

Clear and accurate

This screen protector seems to be good quality. No visual distortions nor any touch complaints. Noticed some scratches on my screen from docking and undocking. This screen protector covered them perfectly without any air bubbles which is a plus for sure. Very nice that I get two more replacements up front and a lifetime warranty if I should happen to scratch my screen during future use. Applying the protector is pretty standard in that it asks to you line up the screen protector on your screen and then tape one side down to create a hinge. Then you clean the Switch screen with the provided wet/dry cloths, peel the back of the screen protector film and then fold the screen protector back onto to Switch screen. Wasn't too difficult but always nervous if the fold will remain the same as when I flipped it up.

Very Frustrating Installation, But Good Protector

Screen protector itself is excellent. However, the adhesive on the glass backing is stronger than the adhesive on the paper hinges, so when you follow the instructions the hinges come off while you're taking the glass protector's backing off. I actually dropped my protector on the floor because I wasn't holding the screen protector itself very well (to avoid fingerprints on the glass) and the protector fell to the floor when the hinges came off. I was quite irritated about it at the time, but was able to get a clean installation nonetheless, so all's well that ends well. Protector had two ~1" bubbles in it when I finished installation. I was worried these were too large to settle properly, but they did and I have a clean installation. All's well that end's well, as they say.

No problems so far

The only "problem" I had was the included "hinge" stickers weren't able to really stick to the glass all that well. I would suggest for most users with steady hands to just apply without these stickers. The only suggestion I would have for the manufacturer would be to include a link to a YouTube video to demonstrate, rather than rely exclusively on printed instructions.

Very precise fit

I am really surprised with how well cut the glass is, and just how precise the cuts are around the edge which covers the screen perfectly to the edge. There's no rainbow effect from the adhesive either. for $9 I think this is money well spent and while I am sure this glass isn't on par with the durability of something like gorilla glass, 3 screen protectors for the price of $9 is a great deal in my book. 10/10 would buy again

Went on easily

1st, have 4 Switches 1 for a 7 year old so, protection is mandatory. I cleaned the screen with Zeiss lens wipes because I know how they work on lenses, made sure it was literally squeaky clean and totally free of dust, just looking at an overhead light helps you to see this. Removed the plastic backing on the screen protector and being VERY CAREFUL NOT to touch anything but the very edges, I put the plastic backing on the top right corner of the screen for an air gap, placed the screen protector on the very bottom edge, taking care to line it up, then with a lens wipe started wiping the protector from the bottom/left to the top right lowering the screen protector until the last bit was resting on the little space, got to that corner then pulled out the plastic and...DONE. I did have a bubble in one but with the plastic acting as a spacer it's easy to lift the protector, press the bubble out and ease it down.
