Good heater for the price

This heater works very well. I ordered the first one for a 5 gallon tank and have since ordered a few more in the same size and bigger. They all arrived in perfect condition. I like that this heater is fully submersible and has a cover to protect the glass. You have to experiment with the temperature setting based on how warm/cold your house is and the size of the tank. For example, if you set a 50 W heater on 76 degrees, it may be a bit warmer in a 5 gallon and a bit colder in a 10 gallon. To me, that's not a big deal, you just adjust it. Once set, it holds the temperature. The knob can be a bit hard to move, so if you have problems with strength in your fingers, you may need help. For everyone else, just drying off the knob to get a good grip is enough. I like this heater.

It work fine, thanks! I currently use this heater for my Bettas and it works like a charm. It always keeps the water temperature just right it’s about 1 Year I’ve had it already.

Affordable Accurate Heater

I wanted a small heater for a 3 gallon tank, and this heater does the job well. It fits fine and doesn't overheat the water and cook my fish! At first, I set it at a lower temperature thinking that it would heat 3 gallons slightly higher. However, it was spot on so I was able to set it to the temperature I desired.

deserves better rating

This deserves a better rating. It works flawlessly. Yes, the knob is hard to turn, but you dont need to be fiddling with the knob once you set a good temp. This is for my turtle tank. We had the tank in the shade and it kept the tank at a constant 80 degrees. Now she is by the window, so with the sun, i set it and the temp fluctuates between 79 and 82 degrees, which is not the heater's fault, as i have it set for 79 degrees. I bought a digital thermometer, so i am not even looking at the thermometer this has, but IT IS accurate. The bad reviews may be a quality control issue, which i have not experienced. Just remember, the adjustment knob MUST be outside of the water, as the instructions indicate

Not full submersible but great heater.

This is not fully submersible even though it says in the description that it’s submersible. With that said it’s an awesome heater. Easy setup for temperature setting both Fahrenheit and Celsius. Easy to read. Will be buying from again if I need another. Plus it’s cheaper than Walmart brand which lasted me 3 days.

a must

This heater is phenomenal. I don't understand most of the reviews this my fourth one I have bought. The only thing is, is that a little different in size. But it does make a difference when u buy the right one rated for your tank. I bought the 100 watt for my bigger tank. But I've been buying the 50 watts and they are amazing never had an issue. I've had the same two for almost a year now and no issues.
