Have only used this mug warmer for a few days but so far I am pleased with the purchase. I especially like the fact that there is no on & off button, rather the warmer is activated by the pressure of the filled cup on the surface. In the past I frequently forgot to turn the warmer off when I removed my drink thus leaving the unit on for hours until I happened to notice the warmer was still on.

This is such an upgrade from my last mug warmer. I sometimes forgot to turn off my old one and found the next morning it was still on. Oops. This one just turns off each time u pick up your mug and then turns on once the mug is on. I really like it. I find that actual ceramic mugs keeps my coffee the hottest then other mugs. I hope this works for a good while.

This warmer is perfect! I love the smooth surface, which makes cleaning it a breeze! I have used this to keep hot drinks hot (and it keeps them a perfect temp). I have also used it to warm a candle so I didn’t have to have it burning to enjoy it’s fragrance. In addition to that I tried putting some cheese dip in a glass bowl and placed it on the warmer and it kept it melted and the temp was not too hot to eat! I also love that the switch is a button built into the bottom of the device. The weight of what you put on it will automatically turn it on or off, when placed or removed from the warmer. I like mine so much and have found so many uses for it, I will be ordering more for both my own home and as gifts! This is the best warmer I have ever had and I have owned a few of varying design. This warmer is by far the best one and I would highly recommend it.

Does what it's designed to do!

Been using my mug warmer for about 2 weeks now. Love the way this keeps my tea warm throughout the day and prolongs enjoyment of my hot beverage; it is much better than running to the microwave several times a day after taking gulp-full of cold tea. Things to know: 1) Initially, make your hot beverage another way: coffee maker, kettle, microwave etc. Don't expect this product to make something cold get really hot, for example, instant coffee, or brew tea; not what it's designed for. 2) If the mug is full, it will keep the liquid from cooling too fast (but won't be as hot as when you first made your beverage) 3) If the mug has half or less liquid, it will keep it almost as hot as when you first started drinking. 4) Some reviewers complained about the mug being too light to weigh down the plate that activates heating; I had a ceramic mug like this and I just added a bit of my own weight when I place it on there, and the heating stayed on. 5) I wouldn't use a plastic mug on this.

Great value!

It's slim, attractive, and the best part is that it doesn't get hot unless there is a cup on it, and even then, a timer will shut it off. Our previous mug warmer melted, sitting on with nothing on it.

Great for warming!

I really like this mug warmer. I've had several over the years that were not as nice as this one. I've learned you have to pay a little more, if you want something that will last! All the ones I bought, in the past, were the cheapest you could buy...and they just didn't last. This one has an automatic shut-off. When the mug is removed, it automatically turns itself off. This is a wonderful safety feature!! All of the previous, cheap ones, that I've owned didn't have this feature. I would end up forgetting to turn it off, and they would over-heat and actually melt!! This one has had no issues at all!! I love it!

Good product

I use the warmer everytime I am reading in the living room. It keeps my coffee perfectly warm so that I don't need to constantly get up, warm it in the micro, and add a touch of fresh. I do need a cup without a raised base to work perfectly but that is not an issue. I do wish that the cord was a bit longer. I have to use an extension cord but, again, not a biggy.

Loving the auto-off

I bought this as a gift for my adult daughter and (as always) tested it before giving. It took about two hours to fully melt the first candle and less than that for the second one. Watch for a difference in the thickness of glass at the bottom of the candle. It's reasonable for thicker glass to take longer to heat. That seems to be what happened. Glass in the first was much thicker than in the second. That being said, it did warm the candle. It also held a cup of coffee at better than room temperature for a couple of hours. My favorite feature is probably the auto-off. The warmer turns off if it is bumped. It also turns off when a cup is removed. Two good safety features to have. I feel like I can give it to my daughter without worry and am confident that she is going to love it.

Functional and looks sleek

This is perfect for what I needed! My coffee was always getting cold before I drank it all in the morning, well not anymore! This keeps my mug warm for as long as it takes me to drink. It activates just by setting the mug on top, no switch or anything, and deactivates when the weight is lifted. I especially like how it looks. I've had mug warmers in the past that weren't nearly as attractive. This one looks alright sitting on the my end table all the time.

I like the coffee warmer because it shuts off automatically when I take the cup off the warmer. I have had some in the past that you had to manually turn off and I would forget to do that. I feel at ease knowing this one is off once I remove the cup.
