I ordered this mouse pad on whim, figuring it would make a nice ornament for my desk. After using it for a few days on my production/gaming computer, it is much more than a desk ornament. The size at approximately 10x8.5 inches, is nice and roomy while being very thin. I really appreciate the chamfered edge, which makes for a smooth transition on and off the pad. The surface of the pad works very well for my Microsoft Sidewinder even in all DPI setting from super quick to extremely slow and precise. The bottom of the pad has 4 rubber feet installed into recessed doughnut shapes at each corner and they hold the pad in positon quite well on my polished wood desk. The only negative I can find with the pad is noise, it's slightly noisier than a normal mouse pad, about on par with one of the thin plastic ones. To me it's not annoying, however if your a stickler for quite operation this is not the pad for you.

This thing keeps finding new life. I got it for a cheap pad for work because I wanted a faster surface. It worked nicely but I did notice it is susceptible to cold temperatures and will collect a dew. Never ran into anything like that before, but for the rest of the time, it was decent and everything scrolled nicely, eventually it got phased out and wife decided to try it at her work, and she loves it, her first gaming slate. Price was great, would buy this anytime until winter hits

This pad works perfectly. The noise that people mention is a little excessive at first, but I don't even notice it now; either the surface smoothed out or I simply got used to it. Either way, the sound is no issue at all. It doesn't slide around, curl up at the edges like the foam ones do and it looks great. My apple mouse tracks smoothly and without any hesitation, so it does what it's supposed to do. I have no complaints at all. To me, it's worth the money, which isn't very much to begin with.

This thing is awesome. I've used it for both my optical mouses and my laser mouse. The tracking on it is dead on, and I've actually used it for some CAD work. Very well made, with nice smooth edges and a slight bevel. The rubber feet are about 1.25" diameter "donut" shaped pieces that grip VERY WELL on any surface that I used it on. I got the silver one, and I see it's also offered in black, but since I use this with my Apple Mac products, it matches perfectly.

Wonderful product definitely good quality. If you don't like any noise from the sliding mouse at all, depending on what the bottom of your mouse is made of, there is another product like this with leather cover that you might like better... I personally prefer the elegant looking all matte aluminum finish with a touch of gloss. Looks slick, and provides a superior surface for optical and laser input devices. Only improvement could be a full rubber bottom, but it's great even as is. I bought it for my secondary machine, instead I chose to replaced the already quality made a good performing Alienware pad on my main machine.

This is the BEST mouse pad for my Magic Mouse 2! All my Apple products match this pad and my laser mouse can now track accurately, as it could not on my clear plastic desk pad. My old desk had a large section where the lacquer and color had worn off the top because of the mouse. Now, my Magic Mouse 2 sits on the new Nulaxy Aluminum mouse pad - right next to my Magic Trackpad 2. Thus, whatever program I'm using can have the eight tracking device! The Nulaxy is slim, with angled, shiny edges, and the top has a matte finish. The mouse does make a "sandy" sound, but it's no worse than using the mouse on the top of my desk, and, anyway, the sound doesn't bother me at all! The 4 rubber feet keep the mouse pad wherever I put it, and the pad never moves as I use the mouse. After all the mouse pads I have tried, I have FINALLY fount THE PERFECT ONE - the Nulasky Aluminum non-slip Mouse Pad! Here is a piece of equipment that Apple should sell in its stores - it's wonderful for the Magic Mouse - 1 or 2!!!

I was a little worried about the noise this mouse pad would create as many reviewers here said it was unbearable. I took the chance hoping the sleek modern look would outweigh the sound, and i'm happy I did! I love modern. And originally, I didn't even want a mousepad as I was going to use my mouse on a glass table. I ended up having to buy a wireless expensive mouse that would track on glass. Well... my mouse stopped working after 30 days. It was a Kensington sure track mouse. I couldn't return to amazon because it fell outside the warranty period. So I was left having to get a mouse pad. This mousepad really is eye catching. It's modern and clean looking. There is a definite noise, but it's not unbearable as others have mentioned. It could also be their mouse maybe doesn't have a slippery trackable bottom? It may be time to update the mouse and not the mousepad! My mouse actually makes noise even on my glass table... so the noise in my opinion in fine.

This is a great mouse pad - but not if you are using a cheap mouse. I've had it for several months and it still looks new. The occasional complaints I've seen in some reviews of it being scratched - I suggest, #1) stop pushing down so hard when moving the mouse and #2) get a better mouse. That leads to the noise. Some of the least expensive mice come with hard *plastic* pads on the bottom. These will make a soft scraping sound when the mouse is moved. It's the function of the rough *plastic* rubbing against the mouse pad. A better (more expensive) mouse will have hard *rubber* pads and they make no noise at all. Don't blame the pad. Blame the trade off from trying to save a few bucks. It's like buying a monitor. When you're watching or using something all day long, get the best you can afford. The difference is noticeable. My Logitech Anywhere MX is silent on the pad. My Magic Mouse is also silent on the pad I have for my iMac. Hint: Keep the pads under the mouse clean by wiping them them occasionally. Also wipe the mouse pad. I also have a Logitech M705 mouse that does make noise on the mouse pad. It has the hard *plastic* pads. Purchase accordingly anf you'll love this mouse pad.

I have not used any mouse pad for a long time but after becoming tired of the somewhat irregular response from the laser Apple mouse which is an excellent mouse, I decided to try a pad again. After doing my due mouse pad diligence, I bought this aluminum pad as it will not wear down and leave bits of worn pad inside the mouse and I do not require a wrist pad. Wrist pads can be dealt with by themselves regardless. I felt a laser mouse would do better with a hard surface. I am not disappointed at all. This pad is larger and accommodates my needs much much better. The aluminum works quite well and I am very pleased with the improvements. It is not thick at all, being a metal and the pads are thin, they do the job though, no slippage noted. I have an iMac and aluminum (my pad is silver like the Mac) is actually quite nice with it.
