They're good

So my boyfriend and I installed them the other night. The installation was pretty easy. Just had to kinks to work out as far as the slack in the wires for when you slide the seats back and forth but that was really no issue. Before I installed them I bought some Velcro strips to mount them because I'd read in almost every review that adhesive was not good. And I could see what they were talking about. Monger should use the same adhesive that they use for remote for the strips, that would easily solve that problem. But I like the lights a lot. I havent used them much but when I have they look great. They really pop the lighter the carpet is in your car, I have all black carpet but on my driver side I have a white paper carpet protector and I seems to be more vivid on that. But yea the lights are great for the price so far. No issues yet. The app works just fine. There was one time the app said can't connect but that only lasted a couple of seconds. Idk what happened there. But again the lights are pretty cool and work fine. I would recommend buying them.

Best interior light system money can buy!

BY FAR...One of the best lighting systems i purchased for my car. I've owned other ones in the past but this one surpasses those greatly! Pros: - Music changes to the beat of the music with is great for a music lover like me. - Able to be controlled via remote or on your phone which is SUPER convenient - Gets people's attention if you have your windows up or down because of how bright they are at night!! Only Con I have: - Colors don't fade into others, its a static switch which is okay but i would love that feature That's my two cents on this product and i would DEFINITELY recommend this to your friends and family!!

Easy installation

I got this for my Mazda 3. These lights are very easy to install and the adhesive is very sticky. Here's a tip for running the wires: most interior body panels can snap off easily without taking out any screws. This is at least true for my car and I'm assuming it's true for others as well. Specifically, the trim under each door can come right off by pulling the inside edge toward the inside of the car and up. This is very convenient for running a wire underneath to reach under the rear seats without having loose wires sitting around. Another thing to note is that the wires attached to the LED strips do not have anything holding them to the plastic housing. (Think about the transition between a power cord and it's plug.) The result of this is that the cords are held to the LEDs only by the solder. This is not an issue as long as you do not put stress on the cables (i.e. pulling on them to move the LEDs) Overall I am very happy with these lights and how much better they make my car look.

Cool Light Strip!

This is a very cool light strip. Set-up was a breeze; I ran my wiring clockwise, beginning with the front passenger side. Lay everything out how you want it before actually setting the light strips in place **BUY YOURSELF SOME BETTER TWO WAY TAPE!!** The tape that is on the light strips from the factory is weaker than a Frenchman! It easily peels off and won't hold. I used some T-Rex mounting tape; cut it to length, then cut that length in half to use on two of your light strips, then repeat that process for the other two lights. Tuck your wires where you can as exposure should be minimal to none.........it's not hard. Also, weather conditions are everything when you're applying adhesive tape, decals etc. Make sure it's above 60°, at least, not too hot; so below 80° and that the humidity isn't outrageous, either. Adhesives like this will take about 24 hours to cure. If conditions prohibit proper installation, use a garage or find a place within reasonable parameters to make things happen. Finally, make sure the surface you are sticking the lights on is clean, very clean. Rubbing alcohol works best, or use a product called Invisible Glass to clean the area. The instructions tell you what app to download, if you bought the Bluetooth version. Follow the 3 or 4 screens of instructions, enter the code and you're paired! With the app you can select custom colors, or select to have your lights react to sound. You can also use the hardwired control to change colors, light brightness and turn on or off your lights. Seriously, this was easy, like nothing. I don't understand how some people are having fits with this. Also, complaining that your lights are more reactive to your car sound (i.e. muffler, or poor soundproofing) than stereo might be self explanatory. I have a performance exhaust system and had no problems when I tried out the sound mode (and that was even with my cold air intake making some of the noise). This is a fun item to add to your car and I'd recommend it to anyone.

WORKS GREAT. Nice to have a wired Controller in addition to an APP to use on your Smart phone to control LED light set

I have returned 4 LED light sets (1 strip and 2 rock) to Amazon and 1 to Walmart in the past 3 months trying to get one that worked. None of the light sets was from Minger. Most of the problems was APP related. The apps would not work or stopped working or would not work with my Smart phone, etc. And without the apps you have a non-working LED light set. I did not want to try the LED light sets that had the wireless remote control because the wireless control seemed cheap looking and easy to break or lose and I preferred to use my smart phone to change the colors. This LED light set from Minger seemed like the solution to my problems. Now if the APP did not work with my Smart phone at least it had a wired in controller that I could use. I have a similar setup on my home computer that uses a wired 3 button controller to control light colors and functions, so I know how to use them. Well my order arrived today on Monday which is fast since I placed the order on Saturday. I hooked up the LED light set to a battery charger to test the lights. I tried the 3 button Controller that comes with the set and it worked fine. One button is an on/off switch, another button changes the LED colors and the third button is a mode button that also changes the brightness of the colors. The Controller is small enough to tuck between the seats, or put in a glove box. Or permanently attach to an easy to reach spot in your car or truck with the self stick tape on the back of the Controller. In addition to all this - the APP from Minger works on my Smart phone. I prefer using a Smart phone to control the LED lights, but it is nice to have a wired in Controller to be able to use in case you do not have your Smart phone with you. I will probably cut off the 12v plug that comes with the LED set sometime in the future and just hard wire it my my fuse box. But for now I will keep it as is. I am just glad to finally get a LED light set that works. Also the APP for this LED light set "IHOMENT LIGHT" is working great and is easy to use.

Took me a few weeks to get around to installing these, but it was actually pretty easy on my car (Nissan Versa Note). They look so great and not only do they work very well but they flash in accordance with the beats of the music. I've gotten soooo many compliments on them and whenever I have them on people say my car looks like a mobile party/club. They're just so cool looking and you can't beat the price!!

Older review:- The product is really good, specially when it syncs to music. The reason why I have them 3 stars is because it’s not sticking properly. There is some issue with adhesive tape, initially I was able to stick it, but after few minutes it came off. Maybe that problem might be with my specific product. I hope seller will able to assist me with that problem. Will give an update after seller contacts me. In short 5 stars for product but 0 star for adhesive tape.

Makes a HUGE difference

I didn't think it would be that cool, and still thought that when I opened it up. But after installing it and finding out how to get it under the passender and rear seats in my 2013 Explorer 7 seater, it really is nice. It makes the passengers feel less claustrophobic (I've been told, as an uber/lyft driver) and scanning for dropped keys, phones, etc is MUCH easier and happens way less. I've gotten compliments from everyone on them, and although I don't use the rthymic changing color dynamic music mode, there are a nice variety of soothing lights that don't impact outside/inside view in the cabin. I like the yellowish tinted lights option, but there is purple, red, clear, and a variety of others. I highly recomeend, even if its just for your family - makes entry and riding in your vehicle safer, easier, and more comfortable for not much effort - super easy to put in. tl;dr the led light strips are in serial segments from a cigarette lighter adapter, and have self adhesive that you can use to mount wherever under the seats.
