Great!
My cats destroyed my screen door :( The tape covered the tears nicely. It’s visible, but at least I have no more bugs coming in. Didn’t need the sewing kit that came with it, but it came in very handy repairing a torn chair.

easy and effective
I needed to repair a window screen. This tape was easy to use. It comes in a role like packing tape. You cut the size you want, peel off the clear backing (this can be hard to start like any backing to something sticky- but not that difficult), and press where you want it. If you need to reinforce to be sure it doesn't come loose, the fishing line thread and a needle are included. It worked great for my repair.

Makes window screen repair a breeze
The package comes with roll of screen patch tape. a spool of thread and a curved needle. No instructions, no product information. Not really a problem. The use instructions are on the Amazon product page. In use, all you do is prepare the screen by trimming and cleaning the area of the repair, peel a patch off the roll, pull away the cover protecting the adhesive side of the tape, press to apply. For more permanance, use the thread and needle to secure the patch to the screen. Of course it isn't a perfect match, but it will keep insects out and avoiding the need to replace the screen. Good deal, in my opinion. Jerry

Does the job.
Obviously, the aesthetics of patches are less than perfect. That said, these don't look too bad if applied neatly and aligned as well as possible with the original screen. More important, they work. The adhesive is effective, especially when reinforced with the supplied nylon thread. I put several of these patches on my screens about a year ago, and all remain solidly in place, keeping the bugs out, with no visible deterioration. It's great not having to replace a screen over a minor tear. Highly recommended.

I was pleased with the tape...
I had a hole to repair that was a clean cut. That being said, I tried using the thread and I felt that it was doing more harm than good. I removed the thread I had started and cut two pieces of screen tape to cover the hole and applied one piece to each side with the sticky sides together. I found it very easy to use and I'm very pleased with the result. The repair I made was to an upstairs window screen. The repair is very obvious, but that was okay with me because of the window location.

Excellent Screen Patch!
I was planning to replace the screen on my slider door since the tear was around five inch long and an inch wide. Fortunately, I came across this screen repair kit on Amazon. It worked great! The adhesive material is very strong and the overall look of the patch on the existing screen is not bad. I decided to use the patch material on several other tears in a window screen. One tear was pulled open, so I used the curved needle and nylon thread to pull and sew the existing screen closer together before applying the patch material. I used a flat piece of wood as the backing while applying hand pressure to the patch material with the existing screen. This approach helped ensure the adhesive material stayed secure to the existing screen without leaving any ripples. I would definitely purchase this material again to perform repairs on screens! The repair helped save me the time and cost of replacing the screens.

Simple to use Screen Patch
I’ll get right to the point. This is an excellent product! My family loves to feed squirrels peanuts. Squirrels love to eat peanuts. Squirrels eat a lot of peanuts, and they’re not ashamed to accept, no, make that demand, handouts. Now, it’s one thing that peanuts attract squirrels, but, as it turns out, they also attract moths. Squirrels at least look cute, but moths, not so much. While the moths were busy making holes in our clothes, squirrels were busy making holes in our nylon window screens. We eventually ended the squirrels food stamp program, leaving them to shop elsewhere for handouts. Then it was just a matter of repairing the holes in our window screens. The Magzo Screen Patch Repair Kit turned out to be an excellent solution to the problem. I was a little worried when the kit arrived, because it came with a spool of thin, monofilament thread, and a hooked sewing needle, and a roll of adhesive screen patch. What it didn’t come with was user instructions. Although I knew the screen patch had adhesive on one side, I was initially concerned that the adhesive wasn’t meant to be strong enough to permanently hold the patch in place, and I was afraid that I’d have to “Betsy Ross” the screen patch to keep it in place the screen. As it turned out, I didn’t have cause to worry; the adhesive was more than strong enough to hold the patch firmly in place. I’m not sure why Magzo includes the thread and needle in the kit; maybe it’s intended to suture the holes in our head, for feeding squirrels and moths.

Just What I Needed
I have a shed that is backed up to a fence, blocking outside access to fix the screen. I was able to repair the hole from the inside, without electricity for a hair dryer (required by other products) so can now open the window! Thanks!

Who knew this was an option?
I thought the only way to repair a screen tear was with one of those screen patched that you crimp into the original screen. This is far easier and quicker. As an alternative repair to the tape, the product also comes with a cleverly curved sewing needle and fiberglass thread so you can suture up your tear. I did not use that but appreciated it being included. A terrific and easy resolution to a common problem.

Perfect for all size screens
Perfect! Many of our screens had holes in them from hail damage. I was able to cut them to size. It has been almost a year and through all this rain, wind etc. every piece is still in place. I will replace the screens but for now, no bees will get in. I would highly recommend.
