Very clear day and night. Great for everything

An excellent product but it does take a steady hand at ...

An update after one nature hiking trip to West Rattlesnake mountain. I pulled out this binocular when I got to the summit of West Rattlesnake mountain and once I get the image in focus I was absolutely stunned by what I saw. The image was razor sharp and the color was so vibrant. After testing this product out in my backyard I expect it to be good but in my first real life field test it blows away my expectation. And best of all it is so light and compact that I don't feel it hanging on my shoulder all of the time. I am going to Acadia National Park next week and I absolutely can not wait to see what this binocular can do for me. Again 12x magnification requires a proper hand holding technique so your left hand should be tucked into your body for proper support. Otherwise the image is a little jerky if you don't hold it properly. If they can put optical image stabilization like my camera lens on to this binocular now that would be a dream come true. ------------- An excellent product but it does take a steady hand at 12x optical zoom. For birding and wildlife, it is the way to go though. The binocular is beautifully designed and the image is the sharpest that I've ever seen from any binoculars that I've used in the past. I expect that this binocular will take my outdoor experience to a new level.

Awesome Customer Service - Great Binoculars for the Price!

Previously I wrote about these binocular and how I received a defective pair. I sent them back, thinking that was the end of me doing business with the company. But they quickly replaced them with an excellent pair that is everything that I wanted - a great set of binoculars for an amazing price, and the company was terrific in getting them to me as soon as possible so it didn't impact my schedule. I don't use the Smart Phone Adapter, so can't comment on that, but I will be doing a lot of hiking and bird watching this summer, and these binoculars will never leave my side! Unbelievable optics!

This is my second pair of these, and it's a fun story. Altho VERY well made and durable, these do not well endure being run over. I have a small luxury sedan, not an SUV, and they look pretty good and still adjust and focus, but one of the lenses inside the right tube was crushed, and, obviously, spending two or three bills to repair $45 binocs would be ridiculous, so I ordered another. This is a separate, interesting story. I was down at my kid brother's in San Diego when I one-clicked them, specifying free shipment. That was wednesday evening, and the first promise was delivery the following tuesday. As I wasn't going to be back home until sunday, I figured good enough. Then, I got a notice that they had been delivered friday morning, and there was a photo of the package, sitting at my front door. Well, I live in a nice neighborhood, and when we rolled up sunday afternoon, the package was still there. As with the first, these were perfect out of the box and are marvelous binocs for an unbelievable price. The optical quality is positively CREEPY good, and they are lightweight worn around the neck and adjust and focus smoothly. Being 12x, they are sometimes hard to hold still, but the image is incredible and the field of view is wide enough to be very useful. They accommodate a tripod mount adapter, this found by unscrewing the knurled nut between the objective lenses. The cell phone gadget works only fairly well with my Moto X, and I see only a circular, but sharp, image in the center of the phone. Given that, it DOES work and you might find it useful. With phones being made ever bigger and thinner, the adapter might not accept yours. I suggest you not consider this an important reason for buying these. Just generally: These are SUPERB binocs with SUPERB optical quality, easy to carry and use. Don't depend on the cell phone gimmick, and don't run them over with your car.

was a great day to sight see at the ocean

Today, was a great day to sight see at the ocean. We took out the boat and cruised around beautiful Miami Beach, Florida. I took my Binoculars and enjoyed playing around with them. I wasn't worried if water got on them since they are the water proof. They fit in my hands and are easy to handle as you search for buildings, cars, people and fishes. Kids got a kick out of them as they all took turns looking through them. I enjoyed that they weren't heavy like my dad's. I even mounted it on the boats top deck so the little kids could view the ocean and buildings around us. We got hungry and docked at a restaurant and I just didn't want to leave the Binoculars in the boat so I slipped it in the bag it came with. I even used it as a purse toadd my phone and wallet. I loved the clearness I was able to view the night fall and capture the city it's live crowed with my new Binoculars.

Clear focus and good range.

I finally got a chance to use these over the weekend. These are my first pair of big binoculars so I did not want to get something expensive. These come with a nice case and covers for back and front glasses. There is also a way to use these with your smartphone camera but I have not tried that as yet. The focus knob actually works, which means you can focus on objects at different distances and they look crystal clear. I am looking forward to many outdoor trips with these in the future.

Functional, lightweight binoculars

I use these for birding and they're great. They were a bit bigger than I expected - about half the size of regular binoculars. They magnify excellently with great image quality, even in bright light and low light. The cell phone mount is a bit difficult to get used to but it came for free with the set so I'm not arguing. The case and strap are sturdy. I would recommend.

When I ordered these, I expected a $54.00 set of binoculars. An inexpensive pair to leave on my houseboat for occasional use, nothing more, nothing less. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the product I received. Crystal clear, simple to adjust/focus, very nice eye appeal and all the other extras (nice case w/attached strap, binocular carrying strap, lens covers, etc.). Even a smart phone attachment, which I will never use but for those who will.......... I have two sets of high $ binoculars I use to hunt with (MINOX & BUSHNELL) and the Kylietech are just as heavy and just as clear and quality made. Unless something happens that I can't foresee, you can't go wrong with these. They are a good investment for their advertised use.
