I use this little truck to haul motorcycles, mine and friends. I been using cheap 1 inch straps for a while, but then 1 just snapped... (Thank god i just a wheel chock) but i decided to get these after watching a few videos from SRK on youtube. I have my bike loaded up and strapped down with these, im goin to leave it in there for a week and see if they loosen up or anyting. But for now i love these straps. IF i have any problems ill update this. (But i highly doubt ill have any problems) these are heavy duty straps.

These are probably the best straps you can buy to secure your motorcycle, snowmobile, ATV, lawn equipment, etc. They are super-strong and durable. You're valuables will feel safe and secure with these straps. We have used them on long journeys to secure our motorcycles which weigh close to 800 pounds each with no issues. I would highly recommend these straps, regardless your need.

I received the Tank Straps today. These are exactly what I need to use when transporting my motorcycle (or anything else that needs to be hauled). The materials used in the construction of the straps are of very high quality and the stitching looks to be very stout and well done. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth, allows for maximum tightening and easily releases when the handle is squeezed. The size of the lever allows for ample leverage when tightening the straps and removes all of the slack. These are worth the money, a small amount when you consider the cost of your motorcycle or other cargo. One problem I had with my old straps (not the Tank Straps) is that they would loosen. I would have to tie knots behind the locking mechanism to help keep them from slipping. The other straps would also stretch allowing for unwanted slack. I doubt that these will loosen or stretch. I will update my post if these don't live up to my expectations. However, I know that I will not be disappointed. You have to see these to appreciate the quality. These straps are substantial.

The day i received my tank straps i needed them. UPS drops them off. No sooner did I open the package.....my cell rings.......it's a buddy of mine. His bike broke down 2 counties over. He needs it brought back to his garage. So I got to use them immediately. I have used other straps before. These are 10 times stronger than others I've used. We strapped down his bike and off we went. 65 miles of the roughest terrain you could imagine. When we got his bike home, I checked the straps and the position of his bike. It did not move 1 mm. It was in the exact place as when we started! Firm and taut. Use these with confidence! You cannot buy better straps anywhere.

Got the SRK Cycle Tank straps today and just in time to load up my brothers Ninja 300 for him. The straps are solid at a break strength of 4400 pounds and the ratchets are smooth. Wasn't hard to release them and didnt jam up like most ratchets do. They do not have hooks sewn into the straps so no scratches on the bike or forks whatsoever. Going to buy another set so I can secure the back tire but thats just for a piece of mind. Definitely will buy again, and made in America so ya can't go wrong there.

I should have bought them on the first run when SRK cycles put them on here...I missed it...and it cost me $7 to wait! lol. ($30 vs $37) The thing is...these straps are worth every penny. For many years I used bar straps and compressed the forks...and in the back of my mind I knew there was a better way...but until I saw the SRK videos on Instagram and Youtube...I never put it together. So glad to have these. Me? I'd ride anywhere - but in our 50's now...my wife prefers to drive across the states with no real interest (for her) and then we can ride in the states she likes to ride in. These straps are way beyond awesome - I'll have them for life.

Wow... these things really work great! I have used systems in the past that claimed all you need is their product and nothing else to keep your motorcycle upright.... those claims proved to be false. The Tank Straps on the other hand just transported a 700lb+ Harley over 200 miles with no other devices or straps used. The only movement from the bike was the suspension soaking up the bumps as it was designed to do. The thing I really have to point out is the fact that there was no load on the suspension so no worries of over torqued ratchet straps wrecking your suspension on the way home or to the track. (Nothing is more discouraging than a blown fork seal as you unload and prepare to ride) These things are fool proof. The other advantage is being able to strap the bike down and unhook without a helper. I highly recommend ordering a pair if you ever plan to transport a bike and especially if you own one or more. They paid off on the first trip.

We received these last week, and had our first opportunity to use them over the weekend. We actually used other tie downs on our Kendon trailer to severe a Goldwing. We went a few blocks with the other tie downs, and my buddy got really concerned that the bike was moving too much. We stopped and swapped them out with my tank strap. Holy cow! What a difference. We actually trailered the bike through all sorts of road conditions, and the 1/2 ton bike didn’t sway at all. These things are terrific. UPDATE!!! I loaded my HD Electra Glide UC on my trailer, attached my tank straps to the forks, and for good measure, my buddy thought we should use them to secure the rear of the bike since the wheel chock on the trailer didn't account for anything catastrophic that might occur. I know SRK says you only need the two front, but we felt it was better to be safe than sorry. I trailered my bike solo on our trailer up to North Carolina this weekend. After trailering it for more than 300 miles, I nailed a pothole on I-95 doing about 75 mph in South Carolina. That state is a hazard. Anyway, I'm watching my bike in the rearview, and it's just rock solid. So, I continue on with the trip until I need to gas up near the NC state line. When I checked the straps they hadn't slipped or loosened at all. After gassing up and getting some lunch, I hit the road for Wilmington, NC to see a buddy of mine. As I was heading east toward Wilmington on 74/76, curising along at 70 mph, everything was going swimmingly until I felt and heard a rumbling from the back end. I thought my truck blew a tire, but looked back in time to see my right tire on the trailer desintegrating behind me. Talk about a sphincter tightening moment! However, as I'm trying to get the truck off the road safely, I came up on an off ramp for a new overpass that's under construction. I had to run through probably 20-30 of rock and dirt to get to it, but it was safely off the interstate. The Tank Straps held that bike like a boss. We have a Kendon 2 up trailer which is a relatively small, light weight trailer. But the torsion suspension worked perfectly, and the Tank Straps made sure that through all of the bouncing and stuff flying around, that the bike didn't ever even slip or hop. When I got the tire swapped and made it to Wilmington, I checked the straps and they didn't stretch, or show any type of stress from the experience, so I'm gonna say if you're on the fence about these straps, my experience with them was a life (and bike) saver. There's no doubt in my mind if I'd used my older straps, the potential for catastrophic failure would have been much higher. Had a strap failed on a 980 lb motorcycle on a trailer less than half it's weight, I have no doubt the outcome could have been very different.

These are the best time down straps period! I used these straps to trailer my motorcycle to and from Lancaster, P.A from Queens, N.Y and my bike did not move an inch. These straps are super strong, reliable and easy to use. I highly recommend this product and encourage you to get them for yourself. All you need is 2 straps to hold down the bike. I put an extra strap on the wheel just in case of extra bounce because of NYC potholes and because I was traveling over 150 miles to my destination. This is a must have for anyone who is constantly trailering and moving items that need to be strapped down. SRK CYCLES sells a great product and their customer is the best!

These are working great!! I just picked up my first bike (driving back now) and bought these straps from watching a video on YouTube of how to strap your bike down to a trailer. I was worried because Harley's are pretty heavy but you really only need these two straps (sold as a pair). I like that they are wider and sturdy and simple to use. I'm a female who learned how to use them on YouTube in 5 mins and definitely recommend them!
