I really like these ramps. I needed a pair to help me get my riding lawn mower in and out of my shed. Prior to getting these, I used a couple of wood planks that were not very study. The ramps are solid, but no doubt the aluminum construction makes them unexpectedly light. I am little older, with a temperamental back (thus the riding lawn mower) and I no issue putting these in place . I appreciate the safety straps in order to ensure the ramps down slip (especially when I am backing down the ramps); and the treads greatly help with getting the mower back in the shed. The area right by the door is usually wet, and a little muddy, but the wheels don't slip at all. I have not used the ramps to put anything into the back of my truck, but I did test them out and they fit my 2014 Nissan Frontier well. I am extremely satisfied and impressed with this product. I should have gotten a pair of these a long time ago. Ultimately, for the quality and price, I recommend not waiting.

These are really nice ramps. While they are light weight, they aren't like feather light. So they are heavy duty enough to hold lawn tractors and ATVs. They're just light enough to handle on your own without needing someone to grab the other end to get them into the back of the truck or trailer. These do fold up so they're easy to store, and tuck into the back of my truck while hauling the 4-wheeler. There's tread and cut outs in the ramps so the tread of the wheels catch on it and make driving it up them easy without any slipping or kicking the ramps out from under it. These work very well. You'd never guess they were so nice for the price!

My brother works in a machine shop. He loves motorcycles, four-wheelers and all things outdoors - especially if they have engines. He is always showing off his custom-made trailers and ramps and other incredible creations that make his life easier and that none of us can afford or build. Not anymore! I cannot BELIEVE how nice these are and how inexpensive they are!!! When we first started playing with four-wheelers, and motorcycles, a ramp set like this would have cost FIVE or TEN times this price! Now it isn't a whole lot more than a weekend of gas hauling the stuff around and playing with it! The CargoSmart Aluminum Straight Fixed Ramp with Treads (2pk) are extremely lightweight, you can EASILY move them BOTH around together, which makes them very easy to store as well. It is simple to come up with a hook mount system on your garage wall where they end up taking up almost no space at all, and are simple to lift on and off when you need to load a motorcycle, four-wheeler, riding mower and I can even use these for my Corvette to drive it up on ramps! Technically, that is probably over the load rating, but just for the short drive up to the ramps where the car is parked (and I remove these aluminum fixed ramps while it is there) it makes it SO MUCH easier to change oil and do other things to the car that used to be a big hassle because loading the car - which is so low to the ground - was a huge hassle. Now it is a breeze. I cannot express how much I love this set of ramps. They are simply unbelievably inexpensive, strong, lightweight and easy to use. I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION SAFETY!!! These do have a safety rating of 1250 lbs. If you are getting anywhere near this number, or going over, please do not ever let anyone or anything get under the vehicle or ramps while using them. Do NOT trust these with a human or other animal's life. I think it is perfectly ok to take a chance with your vehicle if you like, and I suspect you can push the limits like crazy - but fixing a dropped car or lawnmower is no big deal. Fixing a person is much riskier and harder. SO PLEASE, don't be risky or dangerous with these ramps - but that said, they are amazing and I would recommend them and I am very excited about them!!! Five stars and I would give ten if I could!!! I hope you find this to be a helpful review. If there is anything more you would like to know, please ask. I try to check my reviews for comments and respond to them right away. If you ask something and I don't get back quickly, please check my profile page and email me and I will try to respond as soon as I see it. I think it is important for fellow shoppers on Amazon to look out for one another by letting each other know if a product is good, or if it is a stinker. I promise, this product is not a stinker - I really like it a lot!!! I take reviewing very seriously and try to be helpful. Thank you!

I got these for my husband. Here are his thoughts. Too many times I've smartly levered 200+ lbs items into the back of my truck. I'm getting older and it's turning into a chore lifting heavy items up. Pressure washers, generators, etc. The ramps make it possible to winch these right up into the back of my truck. They are built solid and are long enough the angle isn't too steep. I was surprised that the straps alone would hold these ramps securely to the tailgate. You can tie them off to the tie down hooks in the bed of the truck or you can run them under the tailgate to the hitch. Zero issues using these ramps.

this ramps are so much better due to their light weight. I HIGHLY recommend that you use the safety straps to keep the top of the ramp bridged over your truck end. If there is movement and a ramp pulls off, your precious cycle, ATV, mower, etc may end up on the ground and you may end up with broken bones or worse. They are long enough to prevent too steep of an angle when moving equipment up/down the ramp, but I still suggest utilizing a raised ground surface (e.g. a curb) when loading to reduce the ascent/descent angle even further. Plenty strong for mowers, small ATVs and motorcycles

I have a pair of wooden ramps for loading equipment into my truck. Sure, they’re durable and custom built by my dad, but boy are they heavy. When the box with the CargoSmart Aluminum ramps arrived, I couldn’t believe it was so lightweight! I can lift both of the ramps with one hand instead of staggering about with the much heavier wood ones. I like the included safety strap on each ramp, to help keep them in place. The straps don’t require extra fiddling. The large tread design helps keeps item from slipping while loading them in the truck. If you’ve ever had a heavy item start going backwards, well, you’ll appreciate the treads. These CargoSmart ramps are going to make my life so much easier, I wish I’d gotten a pair years ago instead of using brute force to load up equipment.

When I got this package, other than the sheer size of the box/package that it arrived as, I wouldn't have had a clue that something so useful and sturdy was included in the package. I hoped for the best in requesting this item, and it has done everything I hoped for and more -- the more in the area of the weight of this ramp set. I had expected it to be heavier (weightier) and more difficult to move around and make use of and instead I got nice light ramps that work just as I need for more easily loading items up or unloading items down from the bed of my pickup truck. As others have noted in their reviews and comments (yes, I peaked to see if I was going to be duplicating other people's reviews, unintentionally or not) this set of ramps offers a great alternative to the use of a trailer. I am lucky enough to have a nice heavy duty tow hitch and a powerful amount of towing capacity if I want it, but this saves me the hassle or borrowing a trailer or renting one, and definitely (obviously!!) saves me from buying my own trailer and then needing to have it stored somewhere at an additional cost. The rated capacity is just enough to handle (with some room to spare) something like my beloved motorcycle though I would admit that I still prefer the use of a trailer for hauling that as it leaves me loading and unloading from a lower height and also typically gives me better positioning and tie down points to secure the motorcycle in place versus simply hauling it in the bed of the truck. It at least gives me options though. For regular hauling, say, for example, stuff that I can load up more easily if I can use a hand truck for this set of ramps is perfect. Wheel the hand truck up the ramp (carefully, with someone ready to help steady the items on the hand truck and keep it from sliding back down the ramps too easily) and save on the heavy lifting that otherwise might have had to be done. Price point is pretty reasonable and in the end I'm left quite happy to give this ramp set 5 solid stars.

I do a lot of gardening for myself and others and I am constantly loading heavy tillers, lawnmowers, chippers, etc. into the back of my truck. It is a frustrating job and often requires getting another person to help you. I have tried using pieces of wood and other things to assist me and none of them work very well. This product is excellent and I absolutely love it. The panels are lightweight and measure 12" x 78". They are capable of holding 1250 lbs. but I have not tried loading anything that large yet. It works great for loading my lawnmower and tiller.

I previously built 2x6 ramps with added aluminum ramp plates, which worked great. But that wood is getting heavier and heavier each year, and with more than 7 decades behind me, I decided to try these out. What a joy! They're light weight, therefore easy to maneuver and carry, yet will hold at least what the wooden planks would hold without the concern of a flaw in the wood that I didn't see. Plus, they're effectively weather resistant, unlike the wood. The added safety strap will be nice as a "just in case" to prevent a serious accident in case something slips. Also, the construction automatically eliminates any slippage on the ramps, unlike the wooden planks previously used. This makes these "all-weather" ramps. And again, the lightness of them is spectacular compared to the wooden ones I replaced with these. As another reviewer mentioned, the non-angled end at the ground could presumably make loading of a few items a bit more of a problem than if it was also angled at the bottom, but I had the same situation with the wooden planks, and those ended up working well when needed, so I don't see that as a significant negative. Highly recommended.

I have a 2 wheeled cart that I use to move my wife's craft displays around at craft shows. It is 6 foot long and loaded it weighs about 3 hundred pounds. I used to just put one end thru the door of the trailer and push it forward until the center mounted wheels hit the door frame, then lift it up to get the wheels in the trailer while still pushing. Since I am approaching the big 70 in age it is time I start doing things smarter, while my back is still functioning. These ramps are the answer. Since they are straight its a nice even push up into the trailer. I have used arched ramps but they require a lot more effort. Due to the arch they are much steeper at the start. These work much better than the arched ramps for items that have a lot of ground clearance like dirt bikes or atv's. The arched ramps are better for lawn tractors and mowers. They tend to get hung up at the top of straight ramps due to the low hung mower decks. They take up little room in the trailer and are lightweight and due to the aluminum construction they are rigid and splinter free unlike planks. I love them. I wish I had got them years ago.
